About: I’m a huge animal lover that has been surrounded by dogs my whole life. Me and my wife share 2 pups! Kobe and Kona! My sweet girl Kona is 13 years old is the kind of dog that needs a bit more love and patience than most, so i’m great with paying close attention to a dogs behavior and getting to know what exactly makes them tick. With Kona being a senior dog with allergies and hip problems, I understand the slower care a senior dog needs. Kobe on the other hand is a silly boy that wants belly scratches from everyone. He is 1 years old and is still an energetic puppy! Getting to know your fur baby in a personal sense on its own time/terms gives me the confidence I need to believe that I will be a great dog walker and caregiver for your fur baby! I’m currently not working a full time job so I have a lot of time to care for your fur baby as needed! Mostly available for walks and sitting in the afternoon and evenings. I live in a larger 2 bedroom apartment with a big dog park and lots of walking and grassy areas surrounding me! I have 2 dogs, my senior dog sleeps the days away as she has hip problems and cannot run like she used to, and my puppy loves to play and share his toys and treats with all of his fur friends! Your dog will be given the most love and attention its heart desires! I live with my wife but she will not be caring for your fur baby.
About: I'm a very fun and courageous person who enjoys going for walks and exploring outdoors. I can make your dog love me, just give me 5 minutes and I’m your dogs new best friend. I am a wonderful listener, so just tell me what you need me to do and everything will be purrfect. Having 2+ years experience at a dog daycare center in the past, I am skilled to manage the highs and lows with all pets. My responsibility is to stay with your pup at your home through out my whole stay, I will be there to protect, love, and feed them while you are away. On top of that I will be your housekeeper, watching over your home and cleaning any messes your pup and I make. My schedule is pretty much free the whole time I’m with your pup, so when I’m with them they have my whole attention. I can also teach them a few tricks because I'm quite excellent at it and I do not take care of 2 different families at the same time. My focus is taking care of one family at a time throughout my stay. I'm usually free all day, so your dog and I can have relaxing or enjoyable days together. But if I ever need to run some errands, depending on what they are, your dog can accompany me in a car ride or stay in your home, where it’s safe. When I arrive at your place, I make every effort to earn your dog's trust and make them feel more at ease. Usually your dog should already recognize me from our meet and greet. But if we have met or not, the first thing I do is take your dog on a walk, just to ensure them that I’m their care taker while you are gone, that would 100% make them comfortable with me. When we return, that is when I start giving rubs, treats, and cuddles. (yes I allow your dogs to sleep on my bed, if you are okay with them on your furniture). I hope I am the perfect match for you and your pup, thanks for reading about me.
About: I’ve always had a genuine love for animals and understand how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for your pets. As a Marine Corps veteran, I’m dependable, responsible, detail-oriented, and comfortable following specific routines and instructions. I’m also a pet owner myself, so I understand that every animal has their own personality, habits, and needs. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. My goal is to treat every pet I care for like my own while giving their owner peace of mind while they’re away. I’m currently in the process of moving to Texas, so my schedule is very open and flexible right now. That gives me plenty of time to focus on pet care, whether that means drop-ins, walks, or spending quality time with your pet. I’m available most days and can be flexible with timing depending on your needs. I’m committed to making sure pets get the attention, care, and consistency they deserve. I believe in being honest and making sure pets are in a safe, comfortable environment. Since I’m in the middle of moving to Texas, my apartment is not heavily furnished right now, which means the space is simple, uncluttered, and easy to keep clean and monitor. I always prioritize a calm environment, close supervision, and following each pet owner’s instructions carefully. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
“They were amazing with both my dogs and working with my elderly father while I was away. They did last minute pick ups over the course of a whole month when I couldn’t get back early from my trip. They always sent pictures and updates about how my doggies were. They were very happy with their walks.”

“Jennifer is truly kind and caring, real dog person. She has been very reliable in taking care of our fur baby. I will always see first if Jennifer is available to walk Blue, before booking with anyone else.”

“Hadassa is absolutely wonderful! My dog is very picky about who she will got outside with (even in the backyard), but when Hadassa comes, Lucy does zoomies when I get home to let me know. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve personally owned dogs and cats my entire life. I’ve spent years researching the proper ways to interact with them to ensure they’re happy, healthy, and thriving. Nothing makes me happier than a well cared for pet :) I’m currently not working so I have all the time in the world to dedicate to your pets! Whatever your needs are, I’m open to working with you to ensure your baby is looked after Your pets safety and happiness are of utmost importance to me. My goal is to create a calm and safe environment so your pet feels at ease and happy until you return
“Alex did a great job as always walking Summer. He was very timely, very communicative, and sent lots of photos as requested. It is very valuable to me being able to have someone I trust and can rely on to stop by when needed to help out with my fur babies.”

There is also a park & walking trail across the street from my apartment. I live 13 minutes from the Sugar Land Pawm Springs Dog Park that I love to take dogs to! I am a nurturing person at heart so cuddling and loving on dogs and other animals that enjoy affection utterly brings my heart joy. I just want to make animals feel safe, comfortable and loved <3
“My dog Apollo warmed up to Jenny right away. She did great with him on their walks together. She followed instructions well and even took great pictures on their adventures. I highly recommend Jenny for all your dog walking services and I will definitely rebook her for future walks.”

“This was my 1st time ever hiring a dog walker for my babies. While wisky did make it difficult for Skyler the 1st day to wear the harness, Skyler managed with patience and finally won wisky’s confidence. Oreo is very people friendly so he was an easy go! Thank you so much.”

“Jad was amazing! My pets felt comfortable with him almost immediately. He was communicative on the times he was walking my dog, and did everything as instructed. Very reliable. He is now my go-to sitter! I have him booked for my next trip.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Meadows Place
She is absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend her. She was wonderful with my anxious, full of energy dog and was always on time. She communicated clearly, and met me updated. She was also very flexible with scheduling and showed my dog the love and care she needed. I truly couldn’t recommend her enough. If you want, I can also make it **shorter for a quick review**, **more enthusiastic**, or **a little more professional**. 😊

Summer has been an absolute blessing for us. Our Rottweiler, Jazzy, adores her, and I’m so grateful knowing that when I go to work, Jazzy is getting the exercise, attention, and care she truly craves. Summer is excellent at communicating Jazzy’s schedule and always keeps me in the loop, often sending photos that brighten my day. She went above and beyond by giving Jazzy a Thanksgiving gift — including tennis balls, which are Jazzy’s absolute favorite. That thoughtful gesture says so much about how much she genuinely cares. Now that I’m back working in an office, I have total peace of mind knowing Jazzy isn’t alone all day. I couldn’t recommend Summer more highly — she’s reliable, thoughtful, and truly wonderful with dogs.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
