About: The reason why I’m here- first of course I LOVE animals! Second I understand pet owners’ struggles because I am a pet owner too. Whenever I’m not at home or working at office, I would always think about my pets. Is there enough food for them? Do they feel lonely when I am not around? Will the person take a good care of them? What if they ate something that they not supposed to eat? There are too many questions I can go on and on. When these questions pop up, I would feel bad to leave them alone at home. I hope I could provide the service that I prefer to receive as a pet owner. A trustworthy service with patience and love. Works from home, usually available before 8 am or after 4 pm. Provide only drop-in visits to pets. No boarding due to I have 4 babies at home. I have both dogs and cats. I can easily take care of your pets for their daily needs (feeding them food, cleaning their bowl to refill the water etc)
“Jennifer is truly kind and caring, real dog person. She has been very reliable in taking care of our fur baby. I will always see first if Jennifer is available to walk Blue, before booking with anyone else.”

“This was my 1st time ever hiring a dog walker for my babies. While wisky did make it difficult for Skyler the 1st day to wear the harness, Skyler managed with patience and finally won wisky’s confidence. Oreo is very people friendly so he was an easy go! Thank you so much.”

“Joyce was so pleasant and friendly. My dog immediately responded well to her. Joyce was so flexible in meeting with us before we left for vacation. She sent us updates and pictures that made us feel so happy about leaving our dog behind. I would highly recommend Joyce for your next dog walking and will definitely use her again.”

“They were amazing with both my dogs and working with my elderly father while I was away. They did last minute pick ups over the course of a whole month when I couldn’t get back early from my trip. They always sent pictures and updates about how my doggies were. They were very happy with their walks.”

“I'm a first time pet owner and this is all new to me. I needed a last minute sitter for New Year's Eve weekend and Kelly came to the rescue. I was a bit nervous at first but after talking to her I felt more at ease. She kept in contact me with throughout the whole weekend with statuses, pics and vids of my boy manning. I will definitely be using her services again. Thanks again Kelly and I will talk to you soon.”

“Alex did a great job as always walking Summer. He was very timely, very communicative, and sent lots of photos as requested. It is very valuable to me being able to have someone I trust and can rely on to stop by when needed to help out with my fur babies.”

“Faith is punctual and reliable when it comes to walking my dog, who is a Great Pyrenees. Some might be intimidated by his size but she has been great and he has grown fond of her. She has helped me with same day bookings which has been very helpful. I’ll book her for walks in future too.”
About: What sets me apart is the genuine love and patience I have for every animal I care for. I’ve cared for many kinds of pets since childhood — from dogs and cats to birds, fish, otters, and even hatching quail. About: Hi! I'm Claudia. I'm new to Rover, and I can't wait to get started. I have taken care of pets before and I have liked it. I also have walked dogs for money. I am currently looking for a way to make extra money. I would like to save up for a car so I can work with Rover more often. I am really looking forward to working for Rover. I have a dog named Luna. She is half labrador, and half pit bull. She has come a long way from when we first adopted her to now. All the love we have given her has made her a better dog. And I am so proud of her. I am here to help and work with you. My weeks look pretty free right now. So I can take care or your pets with no hassles. I take time daily to at least walk my dog. I have a nice and big backyard where your pet can play away. Your pet can also take potty breaks and puppy breaks every 2 hours in my backyard. I will make sure your dog stays safe there as well.

Victoria is amazing! She is patient, loving with animals, very punctual and professional. Love working with her, my Great Dane loves her and I feel so safe when he is out in a walk with her. Super recommend, also she managed to give my baby a good grooming, when he is very peculiar, scared of everything, so that tells you she is magical. Thank you Victoria!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
