“Sara was truly wonderful with our pets! She was flexible and able to accommodate us over the holidays and truly went above and beyond to make sure our cats were happy and healthy while we were gone. It’s such a relief to have found a person we can trust with our pets!”

“Katie and Robert did an amazing job with our babies. Made sure to check in every day and provided us updates. They were patient with Charlie as he is a shy dog. I know Charlie and the kitties would be happy to see them again for a future sittings.”

“Sophia kept me updated on how Blu was daily during my time away from home. She took a great care of Blu and I couldn’t thank her enough. Will definitely hire her again in the future. Thank you Sophia!!”

“Starla is amazing. She loved my kitties like her own and was very reliable at dropping in to feed them. She sent lots of pictures and gave details in her daily reports of how they were doing. 10/10 recommend and we will be using her again next time we go out of town!”

“We have had 10+ sitters and a ton of visits through rover and Joe was hands down our favorite so far. We had two senior dogs who need a lot of assistance and have a lot of meds to take. Joe came over and met them before hand and was so patient gaining our dogs trust and getting to know them. He brought in our packages that came, took such good care of them and gave so many great updates. He made our long weekend away so good knowing they were in great hands. 10/10 recommend him for going above and beyond :)”

“Stephanie is the best of the best. Every sitter needs to learn something from her. Constant and detailed updates, many pictures, and she even gave my cat a christmas gift!! She’s awesome and I don’t know what I’d do without her”

About: I have pet sat for many years for friends and family, but have done it professionally for about 3 years now. I work under a professional pet sitting company and am using Rover to fill my schedule. I work my full time job Sunday-Thursday 8 am-3:30/4:00 pm. When im not at work I am often pet sitting! When I pet sit I never leave for more than 4 hours at a time unless it is for work, and you will know ahead of time. I am willing to do drop ons on my lunch break, so long as I can do it and return by the time my lunch break is over. Usually depends on distance. My hours at work are somewhat flexible and I can occasionally finish out the day at home if needed. I do my best to make sure that the pet's usual routine is kept and I follow instructions to a tee. I keep the environment calm and welcoming so pets can warm up to me on their own time. I am a snuggle bug and am happy for pets to sleep in a bed with me--whatever makes them the most comfortable.
“Joseph took great care of our cats while we were away. This was our first time using Rover and we will definitely contact Joseph again for any future trips. Our kitties were in great hands!”

“Very kind and flexible with my last minute need. Everything was well taken care of in our home and left better than it was left. She is greatly appreciated.”

About: I’m a former attorney and consultant currently making a career pivot / back in school. I am bringing the same sense of responsibility from my government and private sector roles into caring for your pets! I’ve had my own dog and have regularly looked after friends’ animals over the years — from walks and feedings to overnights and plenty of playtime. I know pets are family, and I treat every animal (and home) with genuine care, attention, and lots of love. I have 2 kids (9 and 11) and they both love animals and will treat yours as if it is their own. You can count on me to be reliable, communicative, and fully present with your furry family member. 🐾 As a part-time student working mostly from home, I have plenty of flexibility to care for pets with walks, playtime, and attention. My typical day looks like a lot of peoples these days-- lots of video calls (classes etc.). This is a wonderful way for me to get breaks, care for your pet and get an animal fix as I truly love animals :) Pets are welcome in my home, and I’m happy to care for pets in their home as well, providing the same love and attention. I live in a safe, pet-friendly neighborhood with plenty of sidewalks and nearby large parks, so I can do walks of any length. I’m active and flexible, happy to go on longer walks or follow your pet’s routine, making sure they get the exercise, attention, and care they deserve.
“Erika was such an amazing help with this last minute service I needed! She was super sweet to my precious dog baby and she was very thorough and highly dependable! 10 out of 10 service and i would certainly recommend and use her again in the future!”

“Sydney is wonderful! She communicates well and pays attention to our puppy's needs. He is always content when we return home since he's had extra love from Sydney during the day!”

About: Howdy, I'm Tori! I'm a calm and patient sitter who specializes in earning the trust of shy or anxious pets. The dog, who is now a daily regular of mine, that started my interest in providing services for more pets, started out terrified of me; she was so unsure, she wouldn't even come back inside the house for me from the backyard. I learned quickly not to push or rush her, just give her space, consistency, and a calm presence. Now she runs to greet me, wiggling and whacking everything with that happy tail like we are the bestest of friends (Anxiety meds did help but now she doesnt even need em). Most of my personal pet experience comes from having kitties, so I'm very comfortable with sensitive, independent, or slow to warm up personalities. I live in an apartment, so I am only available for drop in visits. I like to focus on keeping routines steady, creating a quiet environment, and communicating clearly with owners so you always know how your pet is doing. I love all animals, even scalies, and work hard to ensure each one feels safe, respected, and cared for. I work in education, so I have school holidays off. I'm off at 3:30, check in with my regular at 4 and am done with her by 4:15 so I am free on weekdays after that. On weekends I am completely open. I like to meet with you if I can the first time to see exactly how you'd like things done. I enjoy sending status photos and am always near my phone if there are any last minute details you need to get to me.

Meadows Place dog parents share their Rover experiences
It was my first time using Rover and actually first time leaving my dog in the hands of a stranger. Natalie was so awesome and took such good care of our doberman Murphy. She maintain great communication throughout and even with the couple hiccups we ran into like our door pad not working, she worked with me on a solution. She was so patient and understanding. I highly recommend her!

JaQuia was absolutely amazing with my dog! From start to finish, her communication was excellent, keeping me updated and giving me complete peace of mind while I was away. It’s clear that she has a genuine passion for dogs and truly cares about their well-being. My dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. I highly recommend JaQuia to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and caring sitter through Rover. We will definitely be booking with her again! 🐾

I cannot recommend Paul enough! Watching my older pug, Baillee, with special needs was no easy task, but Paul was absolutely fantastic. He was patient, attentive, and followed every detail of her care perfectly. Getting daily photos and sweet updates put my mind at ease while I was away. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for pug! If you need a sitter who truly loves and understands senior dogs, look no further!"
