“This is our second time using Mckalynn. This time we left for 6 days. I would not trust anyone else to watch Gunner and Sparrow other than Mckalynn. Her attention to deal and communication is unlike any other. She truly cares and loves our babies like her own. She will do anything to make sure they have their full needs met. She will play and give all the cuddles. She gives our animals preference in everything she does. She will use all minutes to cuddle, play or pets. She isn't afraid to sit on the ground to allow our clingy animals in her lap. She is so graceful and does things effortlessly. If you worry about leaving your fur babies for a long trip doing Rover and choosing Mckalynn is the best way. This makes our lives so much easier knowing someone as awesome as her us taking care of our pets in the comfort of our home. We will be booking again.”

“Ashley was wonderful and communicated well about the visits and how the cats were doing! I would definitely book visits with her again when we travel. Thank you so much for checking in on our little ones!”

“Mona is awesome! NiKi has a great time with her and she is DEPENDABLE! Let's face it....that is what we worry about the most. Will they be there when we expect them or will our fur babies be crossing their legs wondering why no one has shown up? Peace of mind that my girl is being taken care of when I am unable to is worth so much! I would highly recommend her!”

“Sabra was great with our dog and very professional! She sent multiple pictures along with a written overview for each visit to our house. We felt very comfortable and knew our dog was in good hands. I 100% recommend her and we will definitely be using her again! Thanks so much Sabra.”

About: Certified Pet Sitter #UC-056d1818.... ref#0004. Completed June 25, 2022. I have dedicated myself to providing a safe and nurturing environment with reliability, integrity and awareness for every paw-tactic friend left in my care with over a decade of experience providing sits for birds, cats, dogs and fish. The same love I have for my cat, Kadence will be reflected onto your pet as we become acquainted, and become friends or an extension of the family. I am currently retired and spend my days with my cat, Kadence. Pet care and cuddles are not a problem, as I have lots of cuddles to go around. With In Home Sits: Your pets daily routine is of importance, from daily feeding and play that is tailored and established just for them. With Daily Drop-in Checks: your pet deserves a connection, a bond that makes each visit paw-tactic, safe, and memorable for them with a little interaction and playtime. Your pets safety is our number one concern. All dogs are walked individually as needed with active play that creates paws-itive memories for your pet. Allowing a stress free environment for them and worry free environment for you and your family.
About: FREE extra pets for sitting! Hi, I’m Andrew. I’m a US Army Veteran of the Iraq War, 2014 Texas A&M graduate, currently enrolled in an online graduate program through Texas Tech for Clinical Rehab Counseling. My goal is to work with other Veterans when I graduate. I walk multiple Rover doggos every morning and evening, and even weekends. I pride myself on being punctual, having good communication with my clients, and making bonds with the dogs I walk. Book me to add your loves to my schedule. I am a long-time dog owner, currently two huskies who I consider part of my family. I walk them every day, and they let me know when it’s time. Spoiled with love, toys, more love, treats, even more love, good food, a little more love and scratches of course. Since joining Rover, I’ve gained a wealth of experience handling dogs of different ages and needs, and clients with different expectations and levels of instruction. I’ve sat for disabled dogs, older dogs, young and hyper dogs. I’ve sat for and walked dogs in apartments, gated communities, even a senior living facility. And I’m ready to go above and beyond. I helped a client who had surgery by taking their dog to the vet. If I can do it, I will help. I have a big heart for pets. They love us unconditionally after all. They deserve it. Please note: I do not sit for or walk aggressive dogs or breeds known for dangerous behavior. I, as a provider, am open to legal liability if there’s ever any incidents. It’s simply not worth the risk, and though I am insured, I cannot afford the liability those types of incidents would require. I hope you understand, this is a business decision, not a judgment. Also please note I am not a dog trainer. My dogs are spoiled! If you are looking for someone to walk your dog like all those trainer videos, that’s not me. I want dogs to have fun on their walks, not feel like they just get what they can get out of them. I let them sniff around, look at ducks or squirrels, mark, all while maintaining safe boundaries for your pet and other pedestrians and pets. And none of this means I will not reinforce training expectations you have already instilled in your pet, simply let me know what those are. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to get to know me better. We can have a video chat. As to my schedule, I am currently in an online graduate program, so I have a flexible availability. Please reach out to me about my current walking schedule for regular clients as to what times I have available and what may be best for you. For some reason, this app allows people to book requests during times I am already booked, so that is one thing we’d have to discuss. What can you expect from me? Lots of love, cuddles, scratches, treats, playtime. Your pets will have my full attention. I know I charge a little more than others, but that’s because you’re paying for the best. Someone who is reliable, trustworthy with your home and pets, and who meets and exceeds your expectations and instructions. I once hired a sitter who didn’t realize I had a camera in my den. She spent 95% of the time I paid for to give my dogs some attention on her phone. She even swatted away my dogs when they approached! Then snapped some pics, fed them and left. I NEVER want my clients to feel that way. I will treat your pets the way I would hope people would treat my own.
“We had a trip coming up and were worried about our animals being taken care of while we were away. That’s how we came to find Rover and Starla. Starla was amazing, she did better than we had hoped and although we still worried about our animals every second of our trip, we felt immensely better knowing Starla was there looking out for them. She was great at communicating with us before our booking and got to meet everyone and helped us come up with a plan and then during our trip she always sent multiple photos of everyone and we always looked forward to reading the Rover Cards after each visit. We can’t say how grateful we are to Starla and there is not a doubt in my mind that we will book her again for our next trip!”

“Nicole was very friendly and helpful, she went above and beyond to help taking care of my pet when we were away, I will definitely recommend her if you need help with you furry friends.”

“First time using rover and was a bit nervous about using someone I didn’t know but Reagan was great! Check ins on time and great communication. She did a meet and greet with my cat and dog beforehand which helped my nerves. Will definitely book Reagan again!”

About: Hi All, I have been a high school teacher/coach for 33 years and am finally looking forward to retirement. I am excited to have time to love on all the Pets I can! I have had a variety of pets my entire life. I have been a proud Mama to all sizes of dogs from an apple head chihuahua to a 120-pound boxer. I have also had several cats, hamsters, ferrets, birds and fish. I currently have 2 senior dogs: a beautiful black pug (Lucy) and a chihuahua (Zeus). I certainly love all ages of dogs, but I do love the seniors and understand the love and care they need. I am new to Rover but excited about the opportunity to care for everyone's babies. I am still working at school until the end of May so currently available after 3 and on weekends. (unless I am skipping!!!). I will have tons of availability after June 1st. I have 2 small (pug and chihuahua) dogs which are dog friendly. In your home I will follow your directions and instructions along with of course snuggles and love.
About: My love for animals began early. I was placed on a horse at 1 and spent years attending horse camps. At home, my brothers and I cared for a variety of pets, from little dogs to big ones, along with cats, hamsters, chinchillas, gerbils, and our favorite service dog for medical needs. My mother taught us how to care intentionally for each pet’s routine and medical needs to the best of our ability. Her compassion even inspired me to consider becoming a veterinarian. After leaving home, though, I mainly helped friends and acquaintances with their pet care needs through drop-in visits and overnight stays as needed. Now, as a full-time mom, I want to pass on both love and a sense of responsibility for animals to my children by providing your pets with attentive, compassionate care during their stay with us. We have a dedicated space for your dog to stay comfortably with us, and my oldest son has determined himself to be the food placer already XD. If you only need a drop-in or simply to walk the dog during the day we got you! I look forward to giving you peace of mind while you are away, knowing your pet is in good hands. My current full-time role is caring for my 2 children at home while growing another little one inside. We have a fairly consistent but flexible daily routine. We are mostly homebound which will allow me to provide all the hours needed to care for your doggy while he/she is with us. We have a dedicated space for dogs that includes pet barriers to allow them to eat and sleep well (separately for dogs from diff pet parents). The kids’ play area is in a separate room to prevent overstimulation. We have a grassy area right outside our unit for convenient potty breaks with plenty of baggies in stock. Our community has a "Bark Park" to let the bigger energetic doggy run free. For hygiene needs, we can do simple dog baths, brushings, wipe downs.

Rosenberg dog parents share their Rover experiences
Bobbi did amazing with my 3 pets! She cared for all of them so well and spent time with them while she was there. She sent me pictures and kept me updated each time she dropped in and even took care of my stray babies outside. I will definitely be asking for her in the future. 😊

We cannot recommend her enough! She is incredibly attentive to our fur babies and always provides excellent communication, which gives us so much peace of mind while we’re away. She truly has a gift with animals & the dogs absolutely adore her. It’s clear she understands their personalities and “pet language” so well. Knowing pets is such a blessing. We received updates and great photos. We are so grateful to have found her and will continue to book with her whenever possible!
