“Anaya did an amazing job watching our pets for the week! She took excellent care of all of them, including our cat, Bear, who has strict dietary needs and requires extra attention. We were relieved to come home and find him, along with the other pets, looking happy, healthy, and well cared for. She also kept our house clean and treated it with respect, so walking through the front door after a week away felt great. It's obvious she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. We had complete peace of mind while we were gone, and we wouldn't hesitate to book Anaya again. Highly recommend!”

“Karina was absolutely amazing, and I cannot recommend her enough. Princess is an extremely shy dog who rarely trusts new people, and it is not easy at all to win her over. In the past, many sitters have struggled with her, and some have even given up, so finding someone like Karina has been a huge relief for me. Karina was incredibly patient, calm, and clearly very experienced with dogs. She truly went above and beyond to earn Princess’s trust at Princess’s own pace. It takes someone with real skill, understanding, and confidence around dogs to handle Princess the right way, and Karina did exactly that. Knowing Princess was in such capable and caring hands gave me so much peace of mind. I am so grateful that I found Karina, and she will absolutely be the first person I reach out to whenever I need help going forward. I look forward to working with her regularly because it is truly hard to find someone this dependable, skilled, and caring. If you have a shy, nervous, or challenging dog, I would recommend Karina without hesitation. She is outstanding.”

“Second time with Andi taking care of my cats and we are very happy still. Love the daily updates and pictures! We were so happy he got to meet our “ghost” kitty this time for a quick minute. Will definitely use again.”

“Felicia took such good care of our two dogs while we were away! I felt like they were in great hands, which made me enjoy my trip that much more. I would highly recommend her to my friends and family!”

About: I have always loved animals of all kinds, and I will ensure your furry friends are treated as if they were my own. I have always lived with cats and dogs and have cared for all sorts, from low maintenance "living plants" to buddies who need extra care and support due to age or ailment. I have an extremely flexible schedule so I can adapt to whatever routine you and your pets are used to, whether that's early morning walks or late night feedings. I can do it all with ease. I will abide by any and all rules you have for both your house and your pets and I will make sure they are followed to the strictest interpretation.
“I have never had anyone watch my two girls besides family before, so I was extremely hesitant and nervous about having anyone else watch them. Karen was great! We met before I completed the booking, and she got to meet the girls. Karen helped ease my nerves with her communication for during and after the visits. I am very happy with the service she provided. I would highly recommend Karen if you are looking for someone to care for your fur babies. Karen, thank you again! I was able to enjoy my time away without having to worry about my babies.”

“Jaime was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend her for your fur babies. She provided photos and detailed summaries of each visit. I loved knowing my pups were in such good hands! She will be my go-to for pet sitting for the foreseeable future.”

About: Aside from having my own dog for a few years, I’ve grown up around family dogs and always loved to help take them on walks, feed them, and play with them. I’ve also had a few pet sitting jobs while my neighbors are on vacation, and help with the dog’s daily needs. I’m going into my last summer before college and do not currently have a job, so this will be my main side hustle before going off to college! Most of my days are free, I would say I’m busiest in the evening around 6-8 when I usually go to the gym. I will be flexible and attentive to the dogs needs and plan to maintain a safe calm environment whenever I come to pet sit! I will make sure to keep the pets happy and the house left clean!
About: I am eager to meet your fur baby(ies) and have lots of love and attention to shower on them. I am a trained pet care giver and volunteer at a local area pet shelter. I am a widow with three grown children, happily semi-retired, I enjoy the outdoors and nature walks, and I'm an active church member. I am a para sub teacher aide in Katy ISD. I have had dogs and cats that are now happily waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I especially enjoy all varieties of terriers and cats. My goal is to offer your family pet(s) love and kindness in every way. (I do not care for reptiles or amphibians yet will happily sprinkle food into a fish tank.) I make short visits to walk your pets or care for your animals for an hour or more. I can also visit your pets twice a day. My schedule is flexible. That can be discussed during our meet and greet or via phone call. We can communicate by face-to-face meet and greet prior the booking, there is a great video chat feature in the app. Please contact me by phone and we can discuss my care of your pets. This meet and greet is to get acquainted with your pet(s) and see how they respond to my care.
“Jaci was amazing! So sweet to talk with and very attentive with any requests. It was my first time leaving my boy at home for an extended time and I felt confident leaving him in her hands. All of the photos and videos sent back were so cute and was a highlight every day to see<3”

“First time leaving my dog at home while we went on a trip. Gina took exceptional care of her, our guinea pigs, and fish. Very responsive and sent lots of pictures and updates. Will rebook with Gina and her daughter in the future!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Katy
Allison dropped in on Kobe for multiple days while I was commuting in and out of town for a work event. She responded quickly and was flexible. She followed directions and gave great updates and photos during the check-ins. We would definitely use her again in the future!

We were so lucky to have found Marisol as a back up to our other Rover sitter. We have used her twice and have her scheduled for two more visits. She read and followed the instructions in our dogs profile and even brought in a package for us! Our dog was happy when I arrived home from work!

This was our first time using Rover in years, and Bailey made the whole experience seamless. She was so kind, attentive, and communicative — keeping us updated quickly and often. We loved all the photos and updates she sent, which really put us at ease while we were away. Our pups absolutely adored her, and she followed every instruction with care. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter experience! Thank you, Bailey! 😊

Anaya was great to work with. Very happy with picking her for my one pup while I was gone. Faith was very well taken care of, I was kept up to date and she worked with my schedule with zero complaints. From all the pictures its easy to tell faith was extremely happy with her car taker and I %100 reccomend for anyone needing a reassuring/attentive sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
