Highlights
Pet care experience
Four-babies are family. Forever.
The first time I felt God’s love was through an animal. I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and had an array of pets. I have had the joy of extending the family with birds, bunnies, fish, turtles, guinea pigs, hamsters, dogs, cats, and more. I love having a running partner during cardio sessions and exploring different trails or dog parks! Currently, I own two cats and a dog, ages 5-7, that have sometimes required extensive medical care and have been a part of the family since they were months old. I have also pet-sat and dog walked animals for family and friends over the years, making sure they are fed at proper times and received correct portions, got some play-time for physical activity, didn’t get into anything mischievous, and all necessary and preferred treatments are handled with care. I have also helped train puppies as well, basic tricks such as shaking, sitting, staying, and heeling. I am a full-time college student paying my way through school so getting to spend my extra time with animals, as an avid animal lover, while making some extra cash seemed like the perfect fit for me. I would love to chance to show whoever is willing that I am a perfect fit for caring for their animals as well!

Skylar is the best with my frenchie!!

Skylar was so accommodating to my mess up in the schedule I booked. I can’t say enough how amazing she was with my pup. I have used her twice and would definitely use her again.

Skylar is an excellent communicator. She took care of our ragdoll cat while we were out of town at a memorial. Would definitely recommend her!

Skylar is the best of the best, wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dog besides her . Communication is the best and makes me feel at ease on trips .

Very good communication with my wife, much appreciated!
Skylar took great care of our girls. She even won over our younger pup who can be hard to warm up to. Very glad we chose her to watch our girls

Schedule
I am able to conform to any scheduling needs outside of the my schedule for my part-time job that varies weekly and exercise; Monday-Saturday mornings (usually 2 hours). Sunday mornings I go to church. Typically, I feed all of my fur-babies as soon as I wake up in the morning. Then during my cardio, if the weather permits, I will take my dog for a walk or run. My fur-babies get fed twice a day and each follow different diets and have dietary restrictions, the second feeding is around 4pm. When I am home I take my dog for walks or to use the restroom outside every couple of hours. I clean my cat’s litter box daily as well, usually in the mornings and sometimes at night.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and a couple of indoor pet gates, as well as a doggie door built in to the back door. The house is regularly cleaned and I have plug-ins for calming effects. There are plenty of toys and all animals see the vet regularly, including receiving any necessary shots or medication.

A typical day
As an active adult I make sure to fit in cardio every day of the week and absolutely love having a cardio partner beside me. Additionally, playing fetch or with toys can keep me just as entertained as the fur-babies they are meant for, haha! Getting to show fur-babies new trails, dog parks and smells is absolutely one of my favorite pass times.
