“On top of feeding and giving water to my dogs she also gave my puppies (8 pups) plenty of love and caring attention while I was out of town for 2 days. I trust her 100% and would definitely recommend her to anyone nearby that may need a pet sitter.”

“Jenny has been checking on my dog for a while now. We use her regularly. Dax loves to see her, and I always get great pictures of him. She does a great job taking care of Dax! I would recommend!”

“Stephanie is absolutely fantastic with my pet, and I've had the privilege of booking her numerous times for when I'm away from home. She's always super quick to respond, and I love the descriptive updates, as well as plethora of photos I receive after each visit. It really puts a pet-parent's nerves at ease and I will continue to book in the future 👍”

“Dameng is a truly wonderful person. Every time he came to check on our cat, he would take photos and videos to keep us updated on how the cat was doing. He was very easy to communicate with, and our cat quickly grew fond of him. If we travel again in the future, we’ll definitely ask Dameng to take care of our cat again. Thank you!”

“Well it was great with though. She visited three times during the day of my surgery to let bow out and putting back in his crate. He got to play she sent us pictures of the space the treats that I requested as well as the winter”

About: My entire life, my home has been described as the neighborhood’s “local zoo.” From livestock to pocket pets, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals over the years. I’ve volunteered working hands-on with animals at the zoo, and currently care for two dogs, one cat, some small animals, and fish I’ve been pet sitting for over five years and have experience with many dog breeds, ages, and personalities. I focus on building trust, supporting positive behavior, and helping animals feel safe and comfortable in my care. I believe pets deserve to enjoy being animals—without unnecessary stress—while still feeling understood and respected by the humans around them. I’m currently a full time commuting student. My school hours will begin at 8am and end at 4:30pm most days. I will be available to feed and walk your pet before and after these timings. Weekends I am free with notice. Pets are allowed supervised free roam of my home. During the day, they will likely be confined to one room or a crate if needed while I’m at school. Pets will have unlimited access to water, other dogs to interact with, plenty of toys, etc.
About: I’ve taken care of pets of all kinds since I was a teenager. Dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles. I’ve worked in veterinary clinics, so I know how to care for seniors as well as special needs pets. I can also administer medications as needed. I work early mornings until 3pm, so I am available late afternoon and all evening to care for your babies. I’m available all day Friday and Saturday. I would prefer to care for your pet at your home. But I’m willing to make exceptions for small dogs to have them stay in my home. They would be crated while I am away.

“Joya-Bella was able to pick up my request after another sitter cancelled last minute and I could not be more grateful! She was great with communication and gave lots of love to my pups over the weekend. Happy to book again 😀”

“We were really happy with Michelle looking after our huskies, Thanos and Kai, while we were out of town for a couple of days. She was reliable, attentive, and caring. Before our trip, she came over to our home to meet us so we could go over all the details, which immediately gave us peace of mind. Because of our busy schedules, our dogs usually only get walked late at night, but she managed to take them out for lovely walks both before and after her work shifts. Getting them outdoors seemed to have kept them happy, exercised, and well-cared for. She made sure they were fed, had fresh, clean water, and stayed in constant communication with us while we were away—complete with adorable photo updates! Thank you so much!”

About: I've taken care of both cats and dogs since I was about 10 years old. Growing up, we frequently had both cats and dogs in the house. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for about 2 years before working there for 1 year. I have pet sat for a family every summer for the last 8 years or so and I also worked at a pet boarding place 1 summer. I'm currently working part-time so I will absolutely have time to take care of your pet! I can stay overnight and take care of a pet, and only work an average of six hours a day so I still have plenty of time to spend with a pet! I spend a lot of time hanging out with and getting to know each pet in order to meet their needs. I can play, walk, and feed pets as well as just be a calming presence if that is helpful for them.

“Crystal did an amazing job. My cat was so happy and never felt alone. She was well-fed and taken care of beautifully. I even received a couple of photos, which I really appreciated. Crystal also kept me updated, letting me know when she was on her way and when she arrived. When took care my girl. Thank you so much Crystal. You did amazing. Can’t wait work with you again.”

“Astro Otis and Teddy love Elmer! Elmer is a regular and they love playing with him. He’s a natural with dogs and does well with the mom and son duo. We are happy that Elmer is part of the fam !”

“Ive been having great experiences with Corina during her drop-in visit with my dog, Gunner. She were punctual, friendly, and gave Gunner lots of attention and care. I appreciated the detailed updates and professional photo shots—it was clear that he was happy and well cared for. Corina followed all my instructions and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. I’d definitely book again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable pet care!”

“Alex exceeded my expectations!!! This was my first time to use her and, for that matter, any other sitter than the one that I'd been using for 20 years who left the business due to health reasons. The meet-and-greet went very well. Then, from the first, she came on the schedule that we'd agreed to. The visit notes were timely and welcome When we got home, I realized that Alex had done a fabulous job, probably better than I do. The area around the litter boxes was clean. The used food bowls had been well-washed, ready for use again. The newspapers and delivered packages were neatly stacked. I will definitely ask for her again.”
“Punam was so great at watching my two cats while I was out for a week! She sent plenty of pictures, videos, and followups. Although my cats are a bit skiddish, they LOVED greeting her at the door! I loved knowing that they were doing well while I was gone and in good hands. 🙌 Thank you for your care Punam! Ghost, Bagheera, and I greatly appreciate you!! 💗💗💗🐈⬛🐈”

“Have a bit of a complicated job with a senior dog who needs medication and a 200gal saltwater fish tank that needs feeding and monitoring but Tori rose to the occasion. I returned to all of my complicated babies well taken care of and happy!”

“The second time Brett has watched my dog, Myka, for a long weekend and he is still just as great. We will continue to rebook him as long as he is available.”

I would 100% recommend Kaitlyn B. She met and exceeded all of our expectations. She was very personable and easy to communicate with and gave us peace of mind that our dogs were in good hands while we were away. A bonus that made me smile was her daily updates that showed she was paying close attn to our dogs- she really captured each of their personalities and habits. I hope she is available next time we go out of town!

We couldn’t be happier with the care our dogs received! Mad was a great communicator throughout the entire time she watched them, sending updates and photos that put our minds completely at ease. We highly recommend her to anyone who needs someone reliable and caring for their fur babies!

JaQuia was absolutely amazing with my dog! From start to finish, her communication was excellent, keeping me updated and giving me complete peace of mind while I was away. It’s clear that she has a genuine passion for dogs and truly cares about their well-being. My dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. I cannot recommend Paul enough! Watching my older pug, Baillee, with special needs was no easy task, but Paul was absolutely fantastic. He was patient, attentive, and followed every detail of her care perfectly. Getting daily photos and sweet updates put my mind at ease while I was away. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for pug! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
