“What a great team Vanessa and Gilberto are. Both of our cats are so much better adjusted to our absence than they were before we asked Vanessa and Gilberto to take care of them. It’s like we never left. They also take professional quality pictures of our cats.”

About: I am an animal lover of all shapes and sizes. I am a mom of 2 bully breeds and do not discriminate! I would love to meet and care for all fur babies. I am comfortable walking, feeding, and anything else you may need! I have also had multiple senior family dogs and puppies throughout my 25 years. I am a recent graduate studying for my licensing exam and would love an excuse to meet and be outside with animals. My schedule is pretty flexible currently. Your home, your rules. It will be like I was never there. My goal is to care for your pets just as you would. Specific goals for walks or home will be upheld!
“Olivia was efficient, excellent at following directions, and very reliable! My cat loved her! I would not hesitate to recommend or rely on her services again. Thank you Olivia!”

About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life and helped to take care of them. I have also worked for a breeder and rescue facility for over two years where I gained professional experience caring for dogs of all sizes. I have sat with Rover for multiple years now and have loved every second of it! I love all animals and am excited to continue caring for them in my community. I do work full time M-F but with a flexible schedule. I usually start work later in the morning and get home later in the day. Depending on location, I may be able to drop in during breaks in the work day as well. With this schedule, I unfortunately would not be a good fit for pets who need extra care and time together unless it is during the weekends. I am happy to work with clients and their pets’ specific needs. I am comfortable staying in the home, taking walks, giving medicine, and grooming needs.
“Naomi is absolutely amazing with our pets. She sent daily updates, photos, and videos. Are dogs warmed up to her immediately and they did not want her to leave! She has become our new found part of the family and will be booked every time we go on the trip.”

“I book Kayla very last minute to stop in and check on my girls. From the site of my home cameras, my girls seem to like her. Kayla followed all my instructions and kept me updated. Will definitely use her again”

“Rochelle was great! I had to leave out of town last minute and needed someone to let my pups out to the bathroom in the middle of the day. The dogs seemed to really like her. I'm grateful for the pictures she sent of them. :) Would definitely recommend and would use her again.”

About: Hi, pet parents! My name is Heather, and my goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets are safe, comfortable, and loved. I'm currently building pet sitting into my full-time career because caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy and feel passionate about. I've grown up with all kinds of animals my entire life—from cats to dogs, to rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, fish, and even turtles. I have experience caring for animals of all ages and personalities, and I have a special place in my heart for those with special medical needs. One of the most rewarding experiences I've had was raising my own cat with wobbly cat syndrome from less than two weeks old and helping him learn to walk. I’ve also cared for a diabetic cat who required daily insulin injections, a cat who suffered from seizures, and another cat with asthma who receives inhaler treatments. So I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and following medical routines carefully. I'm certified in Animal First Aid and Fear Free pet care. These certifications have taught me how to recognize signs of stress, respond appropriately in emergencies, and provide calm, low-stress handling that helps pets feel secure while their families are away. Whether your pet is playful, shy, elderly, or has special medical needs, I tailor my care to their individual personality and routine. I pay close attention to details, carefully follow feeding and medication instructions, and keep an eye out for any changes in behavior or health. My goal is for your pet to feel as comfortable as possible and for you to have complete peace of mind! During every booking, you can expect clear communication, regular photo updates, and the same level of care I would want for my own pets. I believe every animal deserves kindness, patience, and respect, and I look forward to treating your furry family members as if they were my own. I am planning to build pet sitting as a full-time business, which allows me to offer flexible availability throughout the week. I am generally available during morning, afternoon, and evening care windows. This helps ensure I can provide consistent care while maintaining a reliable routine for each pet. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I prioritize maintaining a stable schedule once bookings are confirmed. I’m also happy to discuss specific timing needs to make sure your pet receives care at the times they are most comfortable with. **House Sitting Includes:** • Overnight care in your home from 4:30pm-8:30am • Feeding and fresh water • Walks and playtime (if requested) • Medication administration • Litter box cleaning • Plenty of affection, enrichment, and companionship • Photo and message updates 2x daily (AM and PM) • Basic home care, including bringing in mail/packages, watering plants, and keeping your home tidy **Drop-In Visits Include:** • Feeding and fresh water • Potty breaks or litter box cleaning • Playtime and companionship • Medication administration if needed • Photo and visit updates with each visit
About: I’ve been passionate about pet care since childhood—my family always had pets, so I grew up learning how to care for them. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience in all aspects of pet care, from walking dogs and feeding cats to nurturing my own guinea pig. What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my deep understanding of their needs at every life stage. Whether it’s training puppies to follow commands, providing gentle senior care for older pets, or simply offering companionship and playtime, I tailor my approach to ensure their well-being and happiness. My background has taught me patience, responsibility, and the importance of creating a safe, loving environment for every pet in my care. I work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide consistent, reliable pet care throughout the week. I'm available before and after work on weekdays, and I have open availability on weekends. I enjoy building pet care into my routine and can often accommodate different schedules to meet each pet's needs. I prefer caring for pets in their own home whenever possible because it's where they feel the safest, most comfortable, and can stick to their normal routine. I have experience working as a house manager, where I regularly cared for family pets while managing households, so I'm comfortable handling feeding schedules, walks, administering basic care, cleaning up after pets, and keeping owners updated. I treat every home with respect and every pet as if they were my own, making sure they receive plenty of attention, patience, and care while their family is away. But I am open to take care of them in my own home but we would have to discuss potential ideas etc. Thank you !
“Lindsey is amazing! Dogs and cats she can do it all and goes above and beyond. My golden retriever made an instant friend in Lindsey. I can tell he enjoys their walks and playtime because he hides on the couch on days it’s time to go to daycare. Lindsey is also very communicative and very reliable. I never worry that she’s going to cancel on a whim or disappear. I’d give her 10 stars if possible.”

“Cristina did a great job taking care of our cat! She was very responsive to communication and did everything we asked. If you're looking for someone who is very responsible and easy to work with, she is your woman. We highly recommend her!”

About: I’m a very caring, gentle and trustworthy person. Im experienced with providing care to reactive, aggressive, old and young pets. I was trained on a dog ranch for a year and it was the best experience of my life learning their different behaviors and how to properly care for them. I have a really flexible schedule which means I can stop working to stay at home and provide full service to your pets or make a lot of drop ins on them. I have a fenced yard and a dog park across the street from my house. There’s also a walking trail right around the corner too which is perfect for a lot of outside activities.
“We had a great experience with Cheyenne! She was extremely responsive, very professional, and sent the cutest, highest-quality photos of my dogs during each visit. I felt totally at ease knowing they were in great hands. Highly recommend her for drop-in visits!”

“Outstanding experience! Alayna went above and beyond watching our two dogs. 10/10 would highly recommend. We will definitely being using her services from here on out!”

About: I was born and raised in Houston and have been sitting for family, friends, and other clients since I was a teenager. I’m used to working with a broad spectrum of dog breeds + dogs of all ages (not a stranger to doggy diapers and suspenders). I grew up with a pug named Chestnut who passed last year and he had such a big personality and spirit, and was a big part of my childhood. He is always in my heart and when I sit for other dogs, I give them all my love and care for them to the best of my ability 🤍! I pay close attention to a dog’s behavior and their body language signaling. It is important for their health, comfort, and safety. I recently graduated from Texas A&M and I am working part-time, so I will have plenty of time for your dog’s needs and playtime! My days usually begin at 7:30am. In my free time I do yoga/meditate, play guitar, and make art! I need to be briefed on a dog’s routine and usual behaviors before pet sitting at a client’s house. I like to have initial meetings while the owner is present to establish a relationship with the dog in a comfortable environment for them. During drop-ins and house sitting days, I am only responsible for the dog and no other individuals in the house. I am not a babysitter for clients that have not explicitly reached out to me for that reason. I am also not responsible for 24-hour surveillance of your property during house-sitting as I would be living there as if it was my house. I am always respectful of my surroundings and leave the house like I found it.
About: While I may be relatively new in the space, don't let that discourage you! I've worked as a professional bather which means I've seen dogs of all sizes on their least favourite day of the week and am able to handle them with the same care and patience no matter how big or small! I'm currently available daily from 9 am until 5 pm so I am able to build a relationship with your pet and work with them while you're out working! I am in an apartment that features a dog playground so I will be able to fully exercise and entertain even the most excitable pet both inside the home and out!
“Terra was very helpful and responsive during the entire process. I appreciate she was able to take on my last minute request and was flexible regarding the drop in times. My kitties were well cared for, I would definitely recommend her.”

“Kaylalea was thorough in her communication, my cats seemed happy with her company, and my home was in the same condition as i left it. would definitely book again!”

About: I have A LOT of patience and absolutely love animals! I will confidently give your furry friend all of the love and attention it needs! I have a very flexible job, so being able to go back and forth while also hanging out with your pets, is very manageable and great with my schedule! I have cared for many different animals including gerbils, hamsters, snakes, lizards, birds, fish, and ferrets, so I am very open to any and all animals! My roommate has both a dog and a cat which I volunteer to take care of when needed. I take the dog out for several walks throughout the day and feed and cuddle both of them!

Alejandra was amazing! She was prompt with responses and was able to drop in on my babies during the holiday weekend last minute! She was accommodating to my schedule and very detailed with all her reporting! I’ll be using her over and over again! 10/10 do recommend! My babies love her!

Nandini always goes above and beyond to help us take care of our Aussie puppy whether she’s having an energetic day full of play or needs some extra TLC. I would recommend Nandini to anyone looking for a helpful, kind, communicative Rover to take care of their furry family member!

Emma took such great care of Finny while I was in Miami! It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in good hands while I was away. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about making sure he was happy and comfortable. I could tell Finny was well loved and cared for when I got back. I would absolutely trust Emma to watch him again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful dog sitter!

Naomi has been working with our Corgi, Biscuit. So far biscuit has learned many commands and there’s more to come. She provides good feedback and helpful homework and responds quick and is flexible with meetings. It’s been a pleasure working with her. Now Biscuit has a little brother, Teddy, and we look forward working with Naomi to get Teddy up to speed 😁

I literally don’t have enough good things to say about Burak! My dog can be very particular and she liked him from the JUMP. Burak was so communicative, caring, and kind I did not even worry about my dog while I was away. He is exactly the kind of person I want looming over my Sadie Moe! <3

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Bellaire with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
