“Allison was fantastic with my two cats! She handled everything with care, including giving one of my cats her shot without any issues. The visit notes were detailed and thoughtful, which gave me great peace of mind. Highly recommend!”

“Maddy was very proactive with messaging and reaching out about any potential issues. She sent pictures and videos and made me feel very comfortable leaving my cat in her care while I was out of town. This was my first time using Rover and I was definitely nervous at first, but Maddy made it a positive first experience :)”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 15. I house-sat for a month and took care of 4 cats and one dog at once. I have taken care of lizards, fish, hamsters, dogs, cats, and rabbits. I have been responsible for administering medication and food on a schedule and facilitating potty time and play time. I have plenty of free time at the moment and am currently looking for a part-time job so I will have plenty of time to care for your animals. I have a fenced yard and two dogs of my own that I care for. I can keep the dogs separated if needed and care for them on a separate schedule
“Kayla was an amazing dog sitter! She was reliable, caring, and clearly loves animals. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and kind pet sitter!”

About: While I may be relatively new in the space, don't let that discourage you! I've worked as a professional bather which means I've seen dogs of all sizes on their least favourite day of the week and am able to handle them with the same care and patience no matter how big or small! I'm currently available daily from 9 am until 5 pm so I am able to build a relationship with your pet and work with them while you're out working! I am in an apartment that features a dog playground so I will be able to fully exercise and entertain even the most excitable pet both inside the home and out!
“Cristina is the best dog sitter we've ever had. She is very attentive and takes great care of Daphne. We appreciate that Cristina takes lots of photos and adds detailed notes to every visit.”

About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life and helped to take care of them. I have also worked for a breeder and rescue facility for over two years where I gained professional experience caring for dogs of all sizes. I have sat with Rover for multiple years now and have loved every second of it! I love all animals and am excited to continue caring for them in my community. I do work full time M-F but with a flexible schedule. I usually start work later in the morning and get home later in the day. Depending on location, I may be able to drop in during breaks in the work day as well. With this schedule, I unfortunately would not be a good fit for pets who need extra care and time together unless it is during the weekends. I am happy to work with clients and their pets’ specific needs. I am comfortable staying in the home, taking walks, giving medicine, and grooming needs.
“Lindsey was absolutely amazing and our pup even seemed disappointed when it was us that walked through the door upon our arrival home from our trip. Lindsey was so responsive and thorough with the care of our 8 year old boxer. She took our dog on walks, played frisbee with her in the evenings and cuddled with her on the couch. We are so thankful for Lindsey and will be booking her again and again.”
“Olivia was an amazing caregiver to my large breed dog while I was out of town. She was prompt and communicated extremely well from the initial contact through completion. Olivia was very easy to work with. My dog was noticeably more calm and relaxed when I came home, a clear sign that she’d been well cared for. Thank you so much Olivia!!”

“Brooke was a pleasure to work with and took excellent care of our kitty! We ran into a last-minute issue with our travel plans, and she was very understanding as we worked out what our new plan would be. She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures throughout our time away. Will definitely be rebooking in the future! Thank you, Brooke!”
About: I’m a very caring, gentle and trustworthy person. Im experienced with providing care to reactive, aggressive, old and young pets. I was trained on a dog ranch for a year and it was the best experience of my life learning their different behaviors and how to properly care for them. I have a really flexible schedule which means I can stop working to stay at home and provide full service to your pets or make a lot of drop ins on them. I have a fenced yard and a dog park across the street from my house. There’s also a walking trail right around the corner too which is perfect for a lot of outside activities.

“Ishamar watched our cats for three days. She went above and beyond with pictures and videos. Our cats, who are normally a little shy with strangers, immediately were interested in attention from Ishamar! We felt very comforted during our travels knowing the cats really seemed to instantly love our sitter. Thank you Ishamar for taking care of our fur babies.”

About: I was born and raised in Houston and have been sitting for family, friends, and other clients since I was a teenager. I’m used to working with a broad spectrum of dog breeds + dogs of all ages (not a stranger to doggy diapers and suspenders). I grew up with a pug named Chestnut who passed last year and he had such a big personality and spirit, and was a big part of my childhood. He is always in my heart and when I sit for other dogs, I give them all my love and care for them to the best of my ability 🤍! I pay close attention to a dog’s behavior and their body language signaling. It is important for their health, comfort, and safety. I recently graduated from Texas A&M and I am working part-time, so I will have plenty of time for your dog’s needs and playtime! My days usually begin at 7:30am. In my free time I do yoga/meditate, play guitar, and make art! I need to be briefed on a dog’s routine and usual behaviors before pet sitting at a client’s house. I like to have initial meetings while the owner is present to establish a relationship with the dog in a comfortable environment for them. During drop-ins and house sitting days, I am only responsible for the dog and no other individuals in the house. I am not a babysitter for clients that have not explicitly reached out to me for that reason. I am also not responsible for 24-hour surveillance of your property during house-sitting as I would be living there as if it was my house. I am always respectful of my surroundings and leave the house like I found it.
“Nupur did a fantastic job with drop-in visits to take care of my cats while I was away for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. Great communication, both in person and in her post-visit summaries. I felt at ease knowing that my cats would be well taken care of. She even brought packages inside for me that had been delivered while I was away.”

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs my whole life and have been rovering for over 2 years. I love getting to spend time with dogs and enjoy their company. I have dog sat through every hurricane and freeze as well so even during the unexpected trust your pup will be in good hands 🫶 I also had a senior dachshund for five years and he passed in 2023 due to cancer so I really love spending time with rovers and enjoying their company ❤️ I also am no stranger to meds. I can and have administered oral, ointment, and topical medication. I'm self employed so I’m able to do walks and drop-ins during the day! Im quite the homebody and working from home I like to have a reason like a walk to leave the house and get some fresh air and sunshine. I make sure my furry friends get all their energy out during play time and ensure theyre hydrated n happy 🥰 i am experienced in administering medications so I’m very aware of making sure any animal I’m watching is comfortable and taken care of correctly! I do not allow pets upstairs and sweep downstairs before having a rover over just to ensure there's nothing they can get into!
“Terra was very helpful and responsive during the entire process. I appreciate she was able to take on my last minute request and was flexible regarding the drop in times. My kitties were well cared for, I would definitely recommend her.”

“Alayna is the best!! She treats my cat like he’s her own and always sends me the best pictures of my sweet Ennis!!❤️ would highly recommend to anyone needing a pet sitter”

“Kat was amazing with a our cat while we were out of town, she came home everyday and fed him, cleaned after him, played with him and was kind enough to bring treats of her own that now he loves! I 100% recommend her and will be booking with her again in the future!”

Alejandra was amazing! She was prompt with responses and was able to drop in on my babies during the holiday weekend last minute! She was accommodating to my schedule and very detailed with all her reporting! I’ll be using her over and over again! 10/10 do recommend! My babies love her!

Nandini always goes above and beyond to help us take care of our Aussie puppy whether she’s having an energetic day full of play or needs some extra TLC. I would recommend Nandini to anyone looking for a helpful, kind, communicative Rover to take care of their furry family member!

Emma took such great care of Finny while I was in Miami! It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in good hands while I was away. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about making sure he was happy and comfortable. I could tell Finny was well loved and cared for when I got back. I would absolutely trust Emma to watch him again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful dog sitter!

Naomi has been working with our Corgi, Biscuit. So far biscuit has learned many commands and there’s more to come. She provides good feedback and helpful homework and responds quick and is flexible with meetings. It’s been a pleasure working with her. Now Biscuit has a little brother, Teddy, and we look forward working with Naomi to get Teddy up to speed 😁

I literally don’t have enough good things to say about Burak! My dog can be very particular and she liked him from the JUMP. Burak was so communicative, caring, and kind I did not even worry about my dog while I was away. He is exactly the kind of person I want looming over my Sadie Moe! <3

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Bellaire with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
