About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, including my blind, diabetic dog who I give insulin shots to. Experienced with puppies and senior dogs alike. I have been around dogs my whole life and I have experience with caring for a wide variety of needs. I just finished my first year studying Engineering at Texas A&M and I am home for the summer. My schedule is very flexible, I am taking summer classes but they are online so I can be available any time. I have 2 dogs who are friendly with other dogs and a fenced in yard. My house is 2 stories but dogs stay downstairs with a gate to the stairs. One of my dogs is a 12 year old labrador mix who is very friendly, and my other dog is a 6 year old chihuahua mix who is blind and diabetic but still very friendly and loves to play.
“Bryan was delightful to work with and is extremely talented and trustworthy when it came to my pitbull mastiff. He always kept me in the loop with pictures and nice messages with each trip to my house. If I ever need to get out of town again, he will be the guy I’d call first. I recommend him to anyone who wants a hassle free pet sitter.”

“Vanessa is AMAZING! I recently moved into a new house and have been feeding a stray cat. I went on a week long vacation without a plan for the cat. One day into the trip, I started worrying sick about him and was so incredibly lucky to find Vanessa on Rover. I was worried she would think feeding my “stray” cat was insane 😂😂 Vanessa literally went to the store to buy cat food, dropped off food at my doorstep, and walked far away to allow the sweet skittish kitty to eat. She followed all of the strict HOA rules of our community. She sent several updates during each visit and the cat even started to warm up to her. Roamy and I are sooo grateful for Vanessa and will definitely be using her again in the future!”

About: I have always been my family and friends go to girl when they’ve needed help with wildlife and their pets. Loving animals comes so easy to me and is a vital key for my happiness. Currently in my SAHM era so I have plenty of time during the day and evenings to love, walk, and play with your pets. My husband and 3 kiddos will also be home most of the day as well as our 5 year old Bull Terrior who is crate trained and loves to spend a lot of his day in our backyard. I’m home most of the time unless I have walks or need to run a few errands. We’ve got plenty of space for your pets to play, sleep, and roam inside and also in our fenced backyard. Also can accommodate any routine you have in place for your baby :) Please keep in mind that I only book one client at a time (up to 2 pups from the same family). I can come to you even with a last minute notice to meet you and your pet for on boarding/drop in visits. Or even if you just need me to walk and play with your pup. Of course I will send lots of pictures and updates of your baby/babies 💗
“Catherine was wonderful! She is sweet, always prompt in responding to messages, and took great care of our kitty Garbanzo. She was also accomodating with our weird key situation and we would definitely book her again!”

“Raven was a wonderful sitter! She arrived on time, communicated well throughout the stays, and took great care of my dog. She also left thorough notes & pictures for me to review while I was gone! Trust her, your animals will be in good hands. I plan to rebook with her for future care!”

“Ishamar watched our cats for three days. She went above and beyond with pictures and videos. Our cats, who are normally a little shy with strangers, immediately were interested in attention from Ishamar! We felt very comforted during our travels knowing the cats really seemed to instantly love our sitter. Thank you Ishamar for taking care of our fur babies.”

“Karleen was a wonderfully caring, attentive sitter for my cat Apollo. She included a detailed note at the end of each drop-in about Apollo’s mood, energy levels etc. that was reassuring, funny and overall such a joy to read each night. I could tell from the photos Karleen included in the Rover card that Apollo was happy and at ease around her. 100% would recommend and book again!”

“Olivia is fantastic! She took care of my two kitties and I could not be happier with how it all went. She is kind, attentive, and thorough. Highly recommend!”

“Naomi has been working with our Corgi, Biscuit. So far biscuit has learned many commands and there’s more to come. She provides good feedback and helpful homework and responds quick and is flexible with meetings. It’s been a pleasure working with her. Now Biscuit has a little brother, Teddy, and we look forward working with Naomi to get Teddy up to speed 😁”

“Nupur was so amazing with my dogs!!! She sent so many pictures throughout the day and gave such great updates, really made a dog mama comfortable with leaving her babies.”

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs my whole life and have been rovering for over 2 years. I love getting to spend time with dogs and enjoy their company. I have dog sat through every hurricane and freeze as well so even during the unexpected trust your pup will be in good hands 🫶 I also had a senior dachshund for five years and he passed in 2023 due to cancer so I really love spending time with rovers and enjoying their company ❤️ I also am no stranger to meds. I can and have administered oral, ointment, and topical medication. I'm self employed so I’m able to do walks and drop-ins during the day! Im quite the homebody and working from home I like to have a reason like a walk to leave the house and get some fresh air and sunshine. I make sure my furry friends get all their energy out during play time and ensure theyre hydrated n happy 🥰 i am experienced in administering medications so I’m very aware of making sure any animal I’m watching is comfortable and taken care of correctly! I do not allow pets upstairs and sweep downstairs before having a rover over just to ensure there's nothing they can get into!
About: My sister got her first dog which was a golden retriever in 2013. I have helped raised, walked, & taken care of him. My sister at the time lived one block away from me in NYC. I had the keys to her apartment. I would spend time with him, play with him, teach him tricks, and I read books about golden retrievers. In 2017 she got a 2nd golden but this time a female. I also took care of her but it was funny to see that dogs have different personalities. She was a wild one but such a guardian. Both perfect in their own ways. In 2020 when Covid hit, my mom rescued a kitten off the street. She named her Juanita. She was 4 weeks old and had to be bottle fed. I did so every 4 hours. Every time she went to the vet I would hear about how she is the sweetest cat they ever met. I love animals. I always have. Now that I moved to Houston in 2021. I also got my own dog. A Doberman who is super socialized. He goes to the dog park very often, and gets a lot of exercise. He’s super sweet and gentle to his sisters which are 5 year old twins. He gets bathed every time we leave the dog pool. His walks are usually 20-30 minutes long in the morning and night. But the afternoon one is usually very short because it’s too hot. I know when dogs are too tired or if you want them to have long walks. Every dog is different. And every dogs has different needs I’m constantly making sure my dog isn’t getting into anything he isn’t. I listen/watch for context cues. Even at the dog park, I probably only take out my phone once to catch a picture but other than that, my focus is on my dog. The same I would give to a clients pet. Making sure they’re well taken care of, and fed.

About: I was born and raised in Houston and have been sitting for family, friends, and other clients since I was a teenager. I’m used to working with a broad spectrum of dog breeds + dogs of all ages (not a stranger to doggy diapers and suspenders). I grew up with a pug named Chestnut who passed last year and he had such a big personality and spirit, and was a big part of my childhood. He is always in my heart and when I sit for other dogs, I give them all my love and care for them to the best of my ability 🤍! I pay close attention to a dog’s behavior and their body language signaling. It is important for their health, comfort, and safety. I recently graduated from Texas A&M and I am freelancing so I will have plenty of time for all your dog’s needs and playtime! My days usually begin at 8:30am. In my free time I do yoga/meditate, play guitar, and make art! I need to be briefed on a dog’s routine and usual behaviors before pet sitting at a client’s house. I like to have initial meetings while the owner is present to establish a relationship with the dog in a comfortable environment for them. During drop-ins and house sitting days, I am only responsible for the dog and no other individuals in the house. I am not a babysitter for clients that have not explicitly reached out to me for that reason. I am also not responsible for 24-hour surveillance of your property during house-sitting as I would be living there as if it was my house. I am always respectful of my surroundings and leave the house like I found it.
About: I’m a very caring, gentle and trustworthy person. Im experienced with providing care to reactive, aggressive, old and young pets. I was trained on a dog ranch for a year and it was the best experience of my life learning their different behaviors and how to properly care for them. I have a really flexible schedule which means I can stop working to stay at home and provide full service to your pets or make a lot of drop ins on them. I have a fenced yard and a dog park across the street from my house. There’s also a walking trail right around the corner too which is perfect for a lot of outside activities.
“Alayna has been wonderful with my puppy. She’s reliable && attentive. I feel confident knowing he’s in good hands. She does a great job with him everyday. I’m grateful for her check ins. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a sitter for their animal companions.”

About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life and helped to take care of them. I have also worked for a breeder and rescue facility for over two years where I gained professional experience caring for dogs of all sizes. I have sat with Rover for multiple years now and have loved every second of it! I love all animals and am excited to continue caring for them in my community. I do work full time M-F but with a flexible schedule. I usually start work later in the morning and get home later in the day. Depending on location, I may be able to drop in during breaks in the work day as well. With this schedule, I unfortunately would not be a good fit for pets who need extra care and time together unless it is during the weekends. I am happy to work with clients and their pets’ specific needs. I am comfortable staying in the home, taking walks, giving medicine, and grooming needs.

Nandini always goes above and beyond to help us take care of our Aussie puppy whether she’s having an energetic day full of play or needs some extra TLC. I would recommend Nandini to anyone looking for a helpful, kind, communicative Rover to take care of their furry family member!

Emma took such great care of Finny while I was in Miami! It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in good hands while I was away. She was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about making sure he was happy and comfortable. I could tell Finny was well loved and cared for when I got back. I would absolutely trust Emma to watch him again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful dog sitter!

I literally don’t have enough good things to say about Burak! My dog can be very particular and she liked him from the JUMP. Burak was so communicative, caring, and kind I did not even worry about my dog while I was away. He is exactly the kind of person I want looming over my Sadie Moe! <3
