About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life, from farm animals and barn cats to household pets. I’m trusted by family and friends to pet sit dogs, cats, and birds, and I focus on keeping pets happy, safe, and consistent with their routines. I also have experience as a veterinary assistant/technician, with skills in animal handling, basic medical care, and recognizing signs of illness—so you can feel confident your pet is in knowledgeable, attentive hands. I just moved across the country, and I am fully free to take care of your pets until I find a job in the veterinary care industry. I have excellent time management skills, and I am willing to work with your pet's schedules and needs and adjust my own plans as needed. I am willing to adapt to you and your pet's routine and needs to keep them happy and relaxed during the duration of the sitting.
“Melissa is a dog whisperer for sure! Bruce loved her from the first day and she keeps him moving for a full hour. She also walked him in the rain amd cold- she is a real trooper! ?”

About: I’m a very caring, gentle and trustworthy person. Im experienced with providing care to reactive, aggressive, old and young pets. I was trained on a dog ranch for a year and it was the best experience of my life learning their different behaviors and how to properly care for them. I have a really flexible schedule which means I can stop working to stay at home and provide full service to your pets or make a lot of drop ins on them. I have a fenced yard and a dog park across the street from my house. There’s also a walking trail right around the corner too which is perfect for a lot of outside activities.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 15. I house-sat for a month and took care of 4 cats and one dog at once. I have taken care of lizards, fish, hamsters, dogs, cats, and rabbits. I have been responsible for administering medication and food on a schedule and facilitating potty time and play time. I have plenty of free time at the moment and am currently looking for a part-time job so I will have plenty of time to care for your animals. I have a fenced yard and two dogs of my own that I care for. I can keep the dogs separated if needed and care for them on a separate schedule

About: Proud dog mom to 2 sweet girls, from pushing my chihuahua in a stroller to hiking with my Aussie. I value what pets bring to our lives and I strive to give them the most fulfilling life. Let me help do the same with yours :) I’m working part time at the moment and have a very flexible schedule so my availability to take your fur babies for long walks is quite open! Your pet’s safety will always be my #1 priority. By paying attention to your pet’s body language I will be able to gauge their comfort level and move forward accordingly.
“We book with Dani every time we need someone because she is the best at communicating and telling me any important details. This time I was gone for a trip over 4 days and I felt very calm knowing my dog was well taken care of by Dani!”

“When she is available, Graciela is an awesome dog walker! Follows instructions, sends a very detailed and cute “report card” from each walk. She is very communicative of any concerns. Use her M- Fri and my pup and I are very appreciative.”

About: Hi, I’m Isiah! I recently moved to Bellaire and am excited to care for your furry family members. My pet care journey started back in high school, running a neighborhood dog-sitting and walking hustle. Through those years, I learned how to handle different dog temperaments, manage dietary and medication routines, and keep pups safe and happy. Why trust me with your pets? By day, my professional background is in finance and client services. This means I am exceptionally detail-oriented, highly organized, and deeply responsible. I know how much trust it takes to welcome someone into your home, and I treat your space and your pets with the utmost respect. When your pets are with me, you can expect: Strict adherence to your exact feeding and care routines. Patient, high-empathy care tailored to your pet's personality. Frequent photo updates so you never have to worry. I’m active, reliable, and can't wait to give your pets the love and attention they deserve. Let's schedule a quick meet-and-greet! I currently work a flexible schedule, which means I have excellent availability throughout the week. I am highly flexible and can easily accommodate midday walks, routine feedings, or overnight house-sitting stays. Your pet's schedule will always be my top priority. In the Client's Home: > I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping it secure, neat, and exactly as you left it. When staying overnight or dropping in, my priority is keeping your pet's routine completely normal. I follow your specific instructions for feeding, medication, and exercise schedules, making sure they get plenty of play, companionship, and attention so they never feel lonely. In My Home: > Because I am currently renting an apartment, I focus entirely on caring for your pets in your home where they are most comfortable, or providing outdoor neighborhood walks and park visits to keep them active and happy. No matter the service, I keep you connected with frequent, real-time photo and text updates so you always have total peace of mind!

I am a current Optometry student at UHCO, and work my schedule around my dog's and your furry friends needs! Flexible schedule, especially during the summer months! Bear, my corgi, is super friendly and love the extra company! I am in apartment, but normal walks for us tend to be 20-30 minutes! Can adjust to your furry friends needs!

About: I have had dogs all my life and have taken them on walks and I love getting my steps in while helping out in any way I can. I am out of college for the summer so I am available on weekdays more than weekends. Nothing past 4 pm because I spend time with my family and reading books. I am very good at walks and tummy rubs! I also love making sure each pet is well taken care of and loved. Hope to see you soon!

About: Hi, pet parents! My name is Heather, and my goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets are safe, comfortable, and loved. I'm currently building pet sitting into my full-time career because caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy and feel passionate about. I've grown up with all kinds of animals my entire life—from cats to dogs, to rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, fish, and even turtles. I have experience caring for animals of all ages and personalities, and I have a special place in my heart for those with special medical needs. One of the most rewarding experiences I've had was raising my own cat with wobbly cat syndrome from less than two weeks old and helping him learn to walk. I’ve also cared for a diabetic cat who required daily insulin injections, a cat who suffered from seizures, and another cat with asthma who receives inhaler treatments. So I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and following medical routines carefully. I'm certified in Animal First Aid and Fear Free pet care. These certifications have taught me how to recognize signs of stress, respond appropriately in emergencies, and provide calm, low-stress handling that helps pets feel secure while their families are away. Whether your pet is playful, shy, elderly, or has special medical needs, I tailor my care to their individual personality and routine. I pay close attention to details, carefully follow feeding and medication instructions, and keep an eye out for any changes in behavior or health. My goal is for your pet to feel as comfortable as possible and for you to have complete peace of mind! During every booking, you can expect clear communication, regular photo updates, and the same level of care I would want for my own pets. I believe every animal deserves kindness, patience, and respect, and I look forward to treating your furry family members as if they were my own. I am planning to build pet sitting as a full-time business, which allows me to offer flexible availability throughout the week. I am generally available during morning, afternoon, and evening care windows. This helps ensure I can provide consistent care while maintaining a reliable routine for each pet. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I prioritize maintaining a stable schedule once bookings are confirmed. I’m also happy to discuss specific timing needs to make sure your pet receives care at the times they are most comfortable with. **House Sitting Includes:** • Overnight care in your home from 4:30pm-8:30am • Feeding and fresh water • Walks and playtime (if requested) • Medication administration • Litter box cleaning • Plenty of affection, enrichment, and companionship • Photo and message updates 2x daily (AM and PM) • Basic home care, including bringing in mail/packages, watering plants, and keeping your home tidy **Drop-In Visits Include:** • Feeding and fresh water • Potty breaks or litter box cleaning • Playtime and companionship • Medication administration if needed • Photo and visit updates with each visit

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bellaire
Talia was fantastic and we would gladly use her again at any time. She was responsive, pleasant, and more importantly was great with our dogs who appeared to love her. She took care of them for 2 weeks while we were out of town and it was an excellent experience.
Terra has been amazing! I found her last minute before a trip and she made the whole experience just so easy! I knew Pearl loved hanging out with her and I wasn’t worried about leaving my dog with a stranger! I’m very grateful! She was on time, prompt, took care of Pearl’s medication too! She sent great updates too! I highly recommend Terra!

Annabella was a fantastic dog walker! She was very communicative throughout the entire process and always kept me updated. I loved the photos she took—they really showed how much care and attention she gives. She was reliable, friendly, and it’s clear she genuinely enjoys spending time with pets. I felt totally comfortable knowing my dog was in great hands. I would absolutely recommend Annabella and would happily book her again!

I couldn't be happier with the care Peanut received from Chloe! From the very first meeting, she bonded with Peanut immediately, which put my mind right at ease. Her communication is top-notch; I received timely updates and felt completely informed throughout the entire process. Peanut clearly got a fantastic workout and came home happy and well-exercised. If you’re looking for someone reliable who truly connects with animals, I highly recommend her!
I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention my dog received from Jessica. She was very polite, compassionate, and very good with Maxwell. I highly recommend her. She brought treats for him which was very nice of her. I will book with her again in the near future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
