As a pet sitter/owner and dog lover I am very attentive to any pets needs. Hopefully my experience shows that: I have two loveable crazy boys, a 6 year old black lab, Finn, and a 1 year old golden retriever, Reggie. Finn is the most patient of dogs who plays with puppies and grown dogs in a gentle and submissive manner. Reggie is the energy who loves to play and run in the back yard and loves to make new friends. Both were raised and trained in my home from an apartment originally to a large fenced in back yard now. I did stop rover for the first 6 months of having our puppy home in 2024, and then relocated from OH to TX so decided to put family and home first which is why I don't have any reviews for 2025. I work from home full time and only step out for a couple hours a day for the gym so I can focus all my attention on the needs of your pets, especially since I know my own so well! My husband and I can accommodate long play times in the yard or long walks as well. We have a great route near our home that is safe to take walks or runs. We focus on positively reinforcing good behavior and correcting when a dog chews on things they shouldn’t, charges at strangers, or tries to pull on the leash while walking. Our dogs run the household so they are allowed on the bed and couch, but we can enforce any behaviors a pet parent might hold in their own home. Ultimately, we will treat your dog as our own and have a lot of familiarity caring for other dogs since there are so many in our family! We've had up to 4 at one time (our 2 and then a friends 2) and managed the situation well to prioritize each dog for pets, play, and needs. We would love to be considered when you plan your next sitter need and can't wait to love your dogs as much as we can! :)

Sydney was amazing! Our dog was very comfortable there from the get go and had a great time playing with both her dogs Reggie and Finn. She was very responsive and sent many pics and videos. I would highly recommend Sydney for your furry friends! We will for sure use her again!
We had a great first experience with Sydney! We met with her a couple of weeks beforehand to make sure it felt like a good fit, and she immediately gave us the warm and fuzzy feeling we were hoping for. Bibi was a little unsure at first, but she ended up really enjoying her mile walk and is completely exhausted now 😊 We appreciated the communication, photos, care, and patience with her. We’re already planning our next walk with both dogs next week!
I highly recommend Sydney. She was very courteous, polite, and Maxwell really enjoyed his walk.
Sydney took great care of our Chico Baby. He made best buds with her fur babies as well and was active all weekend. He came home and was ready for a nap!

Schedule
I am currently working from home with a very flexible schedule. I have 2 pups myself who get taken out numerous times a day. Could feed any dog as instructed and can play with them and give them love all the time.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a ranch style home with a fenced in back yard that we can see from our living room. We do occasionally let the dogs out back while we are in the home but never for longer than 5 minutes and we have a camera on the yard to keep an eye on them during that duration. I can easily crate your dog or let them roam free. I let pets on my furniture but if you do not I will also respect your house rules. I will correct when needed but as you feel comfortable. And can help continue training positive habits or tricks in the absence of owner.

A typical day
Wake up time is dependent on the meetings I have for the day, or a pet parent's preferred feeding/walking schedule. I love to take dogs on long walks depending on their fitness level and the temperature. During the work day I will let them out for as long as they want since I can work from the back yard to keep an eye on them. We take walks around our neighborhood. If a dog parent is okay with it, we bring our dogs just about everywhere, so we can bring them to restaurants/bars, farmers markets, parks, etc. Whatever we have going on in the week it's likely that it is a dog friendly environment.
