About: Hi, pet parents! My name is Heather, and my goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets are safe, comfortable, and loved. I'm currently building pet sitting into my full-time career because caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy and feel passionate about. I've grown up with all kinds of animals my entire life—from cats to dogs, to rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, fish, and even turtles. I have experience caring for animals of all ages and personalities, and I have a special place in my heart for those with special medical needs. One of the most rewarding experiences I've had was raising my own cat with wobbly cat syndrome from less than two weeks old and helping him learn to walk. I’ve also cared for a diabetic cat who required daily insulin injections, a cat who suffered from seizures, and another cat with asthma who receives inhaler treatments. So I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and following medical routines carefully. I'm certified in Animal First Aid and Fear Free pet care. These certifications have taught me how to recognize signs of stress, respond appropriately in emergencies, and provide calm, low-stress handling that helps pets feel secure while their families are away. Whether your pet is playful, shy, elderly, or has special medical needs, I tailor my care to their individual personality and routine. I pay close attention to details, carefully follow feeding and medication instructions, and keep an eye out for any changes in behavior or health. My goal is for your pet to feel as comfortable as possible and for you to have complete peace of mind! During every booking, you can expect clear communication, regular photo updates, and the same level of care I would want for my own pets. I believe every animal deserves kindness, patience, and respect, and I look forward to treating your furry family members as if they were my own. I am planning to build pet sitting as a full-time business, which allows me to offer flexible availability throughout the week. I am generally available during morning, afternoon, and evening care windows. This helps ensure I can provide consistent care while maintaining a reliable routine for each pet. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I prioritize maintaining a stable schedule once bookings are confirmed. I’m also happy to discuss specific timing needs to make sure your pet receives care at the times they are most comfortable with. **House Sitting Includes:** • Overnight care in your home from 4:30pm-8:30am • Feeding and fresh water • Walks and playtime (if requested) • Medication administration • Litter box cleaning • Plenty of affection, enrichment, and companionship • Photo and message updates 2x daily (AM and PM) • Basic home care, including bringing in mail/packages, watering plants, and keeping your home tidy **Drop-In Visits Include:** • Feeding and fresh water • Potty breaks or litter box cleaning • Playtime and companionship • Medication administration if needed • Photo and visit updates with each visit
