About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life, from farm animals and barn cats to household pets. I’m trusted by family and friends to pet sit dogs, cats, and birds, and I focus on keeping pets happy, safe, and consistent with their routines. I also have experience as a veterinary assistant/technician, with skills in animal handling, basic medical care, and recognizing signs of illness—so you can feel confident your pet is in knowledgeable, attentive hands. I just moved across the country, and I am fully free to take care of your pets until I find a job in the veterinary care industry. I have excellent time management skills, and I am willing to work with your pet's schedules and needs and adjust my own plans as needed. I am willing to adapt to you and your pet's routine and needs to keep them happy and relaxed during the duration of the sitting.
“Alejandra was great! We have a puppy who needs patience with her walks as she’s interested in every smell. Alejandra gave Rosie time and was allowed her to walk at her own pace.”

“Bailee was so wonderful with my girls! She met up with us a day prior to ensure my dogs would feel comfortable hanging out with her the next day, she was so reliable and sweet and I felt so safe and comfortable trusting her with my girls. I can’t wait for them to hang out again!”

“Kendall is wonderful. She was so patient and loving with our timid pup, Mookie. She let us know how he was doing throughout the day and sent pictures, which truly put this pup mama's heart at ease.”

“Anna is great! I trust her with my baby and will even take super late requests. If you cannot be home and need your little one to be taken for a walk, I would pick her over anyone in the area.”

“This was my first time using Rover. Chelsea was great. She sent updates and pics after every walk. Made going on vacation more relaxing knowing Chelsea was exercising the dogs.”

“We book with Dani every time we need someone because she is the best at communicating and telling me any important details. This time I was gone for a trip over 4 days and I felt very calm knowing my dog was well taken care of by Dani!”

About: Hi! I’m Heaven! I have 4+ years of pet care experience. Throughout college, I would pet sit for family, friends, and friends who of friends who needed affordable pet care; feeding, walking, medicating, and exercising, including older puppies and senior dogs, cats, and reptiles. Meet & greets were and are mandatory with new clients. I was also a dog walker for the Franklin County Dog Shelter as well as for a small company, Pet Sitting by Tisha in Ohio before moving to Texas in 2022. I am currently a full-time employee. My current schedule is Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 7a-3:30p, Monday 7a-6:30p (which I can request to be a normal shift if necessary), and Thursday 7a-12:30p. My off days are Fridays and Saturdays. I can provide boarding or house sitting care on any day of the week as long as your pup is okay to wait longer periods between potty breaks. On any day of the week if afternoon or evening drop in care is needed, such as walking or feeding/medicating, I am able and willing to do that. I currently live in an apartment with a bark park. I would take the pups on a morning walk, midday/afternoon trip to the park on grounds, and an evening walk and potty break. Feeding/medicating would occur on the schedule you provide me with for your pup.
About: I’ve helped take care of my relatives' dogs while they were on vacation, and I used to volunteer at a local dog rescue shelter in my hometown, where I helped with dog walking, playtime, and cleaning. I also had a cat for 10 years, and during the last two years of his life, he developed chronic kidney failure. I gave him daily subcutaneous fluids and oral medication with care and patience. That experience taught me not only medical skills, but also the emotional side of caring for a pet who’s sick or aging. I'm a student and most of my classes are online. This gives me the flexibility to be at home and available throughout the day. I want to use that time meaningfully by spending it with pets! Taking care of animals brings me so much joy and balance, especially during a busy school schedule. I believe it's a win-win for both me and the pets I care for. I'm more of a gentle and patient pet carer. I like to take time to understand their routines and preferences to make them feel safe and comfortable around me. If I’m in the client’s home, I follow instructions carefully and keep everything clean and organized. I make sure pets have fresh food and water, clean litter or potty breaks.
“It’s not easy being Sonny’s friend, but Annie has been so patient and understanding of his stranger danger. She’s happy to discuss your dog’s anxieties, favorite treats, and works hard to build a bond with them above and beyond any dog sitter. Annie is reactive dog approved!”

“Mary stayed overnight at our home with our pup for two nights. She was fantastic with Selina, who can be a little aloof with new sitters. Selina seemed happy when we came home, and obviously was given lots of attention. The home was also in great condition. We can’t wait to book with Mary again!”

“When she is available, Graciela is an awesome dog walker! Follows instructions, sends a very detailed and cute “report card” from each walk. She is very communicative of any concerns. Use her M- Fri and my pup and I are very appreciative.”

About: Proud dog mom to 2 sweet girls, from pushing my chihuahua in a stroller to hiking with my Aussie. I value what pets bring to our lives and I strive to give them the most fulfilling life. Let me help do the same with yours :) I’m working part time at the moment and have a very flexible schedule so my availability to take your fur babies for long walks is quite open! Your pet’s safety will always be my #1 priority. By paying attention to your pet’s body language I will be able to gauge their comfort level and move forward accordingly.
“Olivia is awesome! Extremely communicative and sent me photos during both walks. Went above and beyond to make sure any requests I might have had were taken care of. Would highly, highly recommend!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West University Place
Talia was fantastic and we would gladly use her again at any time. She was responsive, pleasant, and more importantly was great with our dogs who appeared to love her. She took care of them for 2 weeks while we were out of town and it was an excellent experience.
I am so pleased to have Katie walking my energetic chocolate Labrador! One of the things I appreciate most is her punctuality and reliability. She has only been walking my dog for a couple of weeks, but it already feels like she’s been part of our routine forever. Katie is caring, dependable, and clearly loves what she does. I am so happy with her services and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker! 🐾

Terra has been amazing! I found her last minute before a trip and she made the whole experience just so easy! I knew Pearl loved hanging out with her and I wasn’t worried about leaving my dog with a stranger! I’m very grateful! She was on time, prompt, took care of Pearl’s medication too! She sent great updates too! I highly recommend Terra!

Annabella was a fantastic dog walker! She was very communicative throughout the entire process and always kept me updated. I loved the photos she took—they really showed how much care and attention she gives. She was reliable, friendly, and it’s clear she genuinely enjoys spending time with pets. I felt totally comfortable knowing my dog was in great hands. I would absolutely recommend Annabella and would happily book her again!

I couldn't be happier with the care Peanut received from Chloe! From the very first meeting, she bonded with Peanut immediately, which put my mind right at ease. Her communication is top-notch; I received timely updates and felt completely informed throughout the entire process. Peanut clearly got a fantastic workout and came home happy and well-exercised. If you’re looking for someone reliable who truly connects with animals, I highly recommend her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
