My family and I have 5 dogs of our own and recently we were adopted by our newly stray cat, Carey. We have been fostering dogs since Thanksgiving of 2017 and we have learned a lot how all pets deserve second chances and how each one of them heals at their own time. My dog walks are tailored to your pet needs, I will focus on the safety of your pet and myself during my service. You can trust that your pet will always be in loving and caring hands. Dog walking would be my primary activity next to my English classes. I will work with you to make sure that your pets needs are met in a timely manner. At home we have a fenced backyard and at my customers' homes I make sure that safety is a priority during my service. That means that I would make sure that your pet is properly secured and that is happy while we are together.

About: Hi! I’m Louisa, and I grew up on a ranch in rural Colorado where I’ve had dogs my entire life. I’ve been watching dogs for friends and family for years and have experience with everything from energetic working breeds to puppies, seniors, and dogs with special needs. She was super flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, and I could tell she truly cared about making sure Archie was happy and comfortable. Archie had the best time playing and hanging out with her sweet golden, Maple — they got lots of outdoor time, walks, and cuddles! I can tell he was treated like one of her own. About: Hi! I’m Louisa, and I grew up on a ranch in rural Colorado where I’ve had dogs my entire life. I’ve been watching dogs for friends and family for years and have experience with everything from energetic working breeds to puppies, seniors, and dogs with special needs. I recently moved to Houston and am excited to expand my pet-sitting clients through Rover. I work from home as an accountant while earning my MBA, and my boyfriend Jason also works from home, so there is usually someone around to give your pup plenty of attention and care throughout the day. We have a private, fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, along with our 14-year-old dachshund, who is very quiet and friendly. I want every dog staying with us to feel comfortable, loved, and right at home! I work from home as an accountant, so I’m home throughout the day and able to give dogs plenty of attention and companionship. I have a very flexible schedule for potty breaks, walks, medications, and play time. I also have a private, fenced backyard where they can safely play and get some energy out. We have a 14-year-old dachshund at home who is very quiet and friendly. I want every dog in my care to feel comfortable, safe, and right at home. We want to replicate what your dog is used to at home. Dogs are welcome on our furniture if that's what they are used to at home. We can also follow crate schedules to keep them in their routine.
“Lorraine was amazing! From initial communication, to meet and greet, to the actual stay she was wonderful! Our two Aussies had a 5 night stay. One of our dogs was a new rescue addition to our family. Lorraine was so helpful when Daisy was having some food issues and went above and beyond - not only while the dogs were with her - but also in using her experience and expertise to offer me help with ideas and solutions when we picked up our doggos. She sent pictures and sweet updates while we were away which was great! We would definitely be grateful if she was available the next time we have to be away. Definite recommend!”
