“Olivia is so sweet, communicative and overall probably the best sitter we have had on Rover! I was nervous about leaving my cats for this long (1.5 weeks) but as soon as I saw how well they were doing it was very easy to relax. I got lots of pictures of them every day! I was very impressed how quickly she won over our shy cat Apollo. She turned on his favorite heated blankie every day and made sure he was comfortable! My cats also got plenty of treats and hummingbird videos on the tv for entertainment! Will definitely book with her again for any additional trips we take!”

“Megan provided a fantastic service, I’ve never seen our dogs look so happy when they were with Megan and she provided such great updates with photos during her walks and visits with our dogs, the ease by which she managed the schedule with our dogs was such a relief to be able to leave the dogs with Megan and know she was taking very good care of them, Megan is a nice, pleasant and professional sitter and we would definitely recommend her to our friends and anyone one who is looking for a really great animal lover to look after their pets, and we will definitely look to book Megan again. She provided a 10 out of 10 service and I cannot speak highly enough about her and our dogs loved her. 😁”

“Natalie was reliable and very communicative! Really thankful she was able to watch my pups. She sent pictures and updates and followed directions like I asked. I would highly recommend.”
“Ms. Heather was such a delight! She came through in a crunch time of mine. She’s super sweet and very responsive. She took GREAT care of my fur baby. My little Amirah loves her! She was so supportive and detail oriented when it came to my dog. I definitely recommend her and I will be using her in the future!”

“We were really happy with Michelle looking after our huskies, Thanos and Kai, while we were out of town for a couple of days. She was reliable, attentive, and caring. Before our trip, she came over to our home to meet us so we could go over all the details, which immediately gave us peace of mind. Because of our busy schedules, our dogs usually only get walked late at night, but she managed to take them out for lovely walks both before and after her work shifts. Getting them outdoors seemed to have kept them happy, exercised, and well-cared for. She made sure they were fed, had fresh, clean water, and stayed in constant communication with us while we were away—complete with adorable photo updates! Thank you so much!”

“I mean can he get any better??? Darius continues to go above and beyond! I come home to a fresh-smelling house, a happy dog and smiling cats! He sends the cutest photos and checks in multiple times, making sure he has all the information he needs. He is worth twice what he charges!!! I couldn't be happier or more relieved to have found him.”

“Dani is the best. She is extremely knowledgeable but does not judge us for our ignorance of all things puppy like many would (she puts up with so many dumb questions with a smile on her face). She has been more than a dogsitter; rather, she has been our guide through our first crack at puppy parenthood, and I am sure even dog veterans could learn a great deal from her. More importantly, our pup absolutely loves her.”

“Bailee was so sweet and great with our dog. We also have a cat in the home and though we did not book her for help with the cat, she was so kind and patient with our cat and sent photos of both of them to make us feel great while we were away. She handled changes well and I am so thankful for her professionalism. Thank you again, Bailee.”

“Yuriko was fantastic with my cats, especially my younger one who is a bit resistant to taking the medication he needs. She kept me updated on their behaviors, specific information related to my younger one’s health, and sent pictures/videos of them every day. My younger one even warmed up to her towards the end - a feat done by few others! She answered all my questions promptly and really eased my anxiety. I also really appreciated her not wearing shoes in my home - something I feel strongly about but don’t ask of pet sitters so as to make things easier, but she noticed during the meet and greet and I could see in some pictures that she continued to respect that preference. She has strong attention to detail. Highly, highly recommend!! I will absolutely choose Yuriko again for all future needs.”

About: I am a certified dog groomer. I have worked in an animal hospital for 2 years as a kennel attendant so I have experience working with dogs, cats, rabbits, and I adore animals so much. I was a dog bather for almost a year, to where I finally got sent to learn to groom dogs (4 years) I grew up having lots of pets, so I have personal experience with dogs, rabbits, birds, and fishes. I have my own car so I have reliable transportation to clients home when needed as well. I joined Rover to simply gain more experience working with animals and to make some side money. I also do nail trims, nail grinds, ear cleanings, teeth brushing, baths, and grooms! PROMO CODE: JAZMIM35812 I can learn and follow the pet's already familiar schedule, feeding, bathroom breaks, etc. I just need to work with the client's days they would like for me to come If I go to someone's house, I want to make it be known that my husband accompanies me and we both work together is caring for said pet
“Raven was a wonderful sitter! She arrived on time, communicated well throughout the stays, and took great care of my dog. She also left thorough notes & pictures for me to review while I was gone! Trust her, your animals will be in good hands. I plan to rebook with her for future care!”

“The fastest responder in the business! Burak treats my little Coco like his own and goes above and beyond for her. I feel at ease knowing she will get a treated with love and showered with belly rubs. My favorite sitter!”

“Ynes did great with my cat Sage, it was the first time that Sage did not act up or get sick while we were gone, so Ynes must have really had some great skills! She kindly brought a delivered package inside the house and kept me updated with pictures. I would totally recommend her.”

“Allison was fantastic with my two cats! She handled everything with care, including giving one of my cats her shot without any issues. The visit notes were detailed and thoughtful, which gave me great peace of mind. Highly recommend!”

“Kayla is the best! 10/10 would recommend! Nice, fast responses, on time, flexible when I needed a last minute change to my reservation. Will definitely book her again, she made sure Beau was taken care of and happy just like I would.”

“Joe was awesome! I was overseas for 20 days and he watched my sweet cat Roz every 3 days. He sent a lot of photos and updates. Roz clearly loved him and he clearly loved Roz. Joe's passion for animals transpires and he was super sweet with Roz. Highly recommend!”

“Mikayla took great care of my cats and made sure food and water was available. She made sure to give the cats some love and even helped me with the litter boxes. It gave me the peace of mind while I was out on a trip and will definitely ask for her services again!”

“Nupur was very helpful since the first moment I contacted her. She is a very gentle person and took care such in a great manner to Xampu. I received her cards after each visit and also some pics. I really appreciate she discovered by herself that Xampu really like to play with bottle caps and played with him. I definitely would recommend her and book again if I need her help. TYSM”

“Karleen was a wonderfully caring, attentive sitter for my cat Apollo. She included a detailed note at the end of each drop-in about Apollo’s mood, energy levels etc. that was reassuring, funny and overall such a joy to read each night. I could tell from the photos Karleen included in the Rover card that Apollo was happy and at ease around her. 100% would recommend and book again!”

Alejandra was absolutely amazing! I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such great hands while I was away. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, reliable, and communicative throughout the entire stay. It was clear that she genuinely cared for him and treated him like her own, which meant so much to me. I came home to a happy, well-loved pup! I would 100% trust Alejandra to watch him again and cannot recommend her enough. Thank you so much, Alejandra! 🤍

Rachel is the best - I messed up the booking dates and she rearranged her schedule to check in on the cats. I know they are in safe hands so I don’t have to worry (even with our complicated medical cat)! She also goes above and beyond to make sure they have some enrichment time.

Zoe was our first dog sitter/walker after moving to Houston and she eased our nervousness immediately. She is so sweet with our large goldendoodles and had no problem walking them. They were so excited for her drop-in visits and can’t wait to book with her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
