“I’ve used Dani’s services several times to pet sit my dog and my cat when I leave town and I’m never disappointed. She’s truly a gem and the best pet sitter we’ve used on Rover 😊. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Natalie was super helpful while I was out of town. My dogs loved her! My plans changed a couple times because I needed to come home due to an incoming hurricane. She was patient and kept in excellent communication with me. I appreciate her flexibility and would recommend her as a great pet sitter!”

“Ellie was great! She communicated very effectively and made sure I had a peace of mind with my fur babies by updating me regularly. We will be booking with her in the future!”

“Bailee was wonderful! She dropped in every other day to check on my cat Remi. She sent pictures and notes every day. Bailee even watered my outside plants for me. Bailee is dependable and punctual and Remi was comfortable with her. Highly recommended!”
“Alejandra was so good with Basha and super communicative. She made sure he was cuddled, fed and played with. Will definitely be using her again and would recommend her to anyone.”

“Ms. Heather was such a delight! She came through in a crunch time of mine. She’s super sweet and very responsive. She took GREAT care of my fur baby. My little Amirah loves her! She was so supportive and detail oriented when it came to my dog. I definitely recommend her and I will be using her in the future!”

“Nupur was very helpful since the first moment I contacted her. She is a very gentle person and took care such in a great manner to Xampu. I received her cards after each visit and also some pics. I really appreciate she discovered by herself that Xampu really like to play with bottle caps and played with him. I definitely would recommend her and book again if I need her help. TYSM”

“Darius was wonderfuł! Our dog is an 11 year old German Shepherd with medical problems and he requires medication. We had never left him with a pet sitter before and I was very nervous. Darius came over a few days before we left to meet Rex and all went well; I was pleasantly surprised at how well Rex responded to Darius. Darius was very gentle and patient and sweet with him. While we were gone I knew that Rex was being well-cared from the many pictures Darius sent after each visit. Rex looked not only relaxed but actually happy! I was soooo relieved. I would HIGHLY recommend Darius and will definitely request him again if we have to leave Rex with a sitter in the future. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!”

“Nandini took great care of our pup while we were out of town for five days- kept us updated and is a strong communicator! Would definitely book again and recommend her to friends and family!”

“Late review! Yuriko took care of my baby for 4 days while I was away and did amazing! I am a nervous cat mom and did set a list of things I know my fur baby would need while I was away and she followed them perfectly. Even though Sage isn’t the most social cat she sent me videos when she could and kept me updated. I appreciate her so much and I 100% would hire her again whenever I am away. She is fantastic!!”

“Karleen was so great for our 3 cats! We last minute forgot to book a sitter, and she saved the weekend. Her pictures were the absolute best and it really eased my mind while we were gone to see how happy and silly they were. She did a great job with food, litter, and playtime. Thank you so so much!!”

“Mikayla took great care of my cats and made sure food and water was available. She made sure to give the cats some love and even helped me with the litter boxes. It gave me the peace of mind while I was out on a trip and will definitely ask for her services again!”

About: I am a certified dog groomer. I have worked in an animal hospital for 2 years as a kennel attendant so I have experience working with dogs, cats, rabbits, and I adore animals so much. I was a dog bather for almost a year, to where I finally got sent to learn to groom dogs (4 years) I grew up having lots of pets, so I have personal experience with dogs, rabbits, birds, and fishes. I have my own car so I have reliable transportation to clients home when needed as well. I joined Rover to simply gain more experience working with animals and to make some side money. I also do nail trims, nail grinds, ear cleanings, teeth brushing, baths, and grooms! PROMO CODE: JAZMIM35812 I can learn and follow the pet's already familiar schedule, feeding, bathroom breaks, etc. I just need to work with the client's days they would like for me to come If I go to someone's house, I want to make it be known that my husband accompanies me and we both work together is caring for said pet
“I may be busy but Gullian always takes the time for my furr baby. She makes sure my cat has plenty of food and water. He gets to have play time when she comes over and she even takes pictures so I can see how much fun he’s having. We love having Gullian help out in our family. Lynne Quillian”

This is the first time that we have booked Sarah and couldn’t have been more pleased. She was incredible with our cats. As to be expected I was stressed leaving my babies but my stress quickly went down with the daily updates and photos. I could tell that they were loved and taken care of very well. I am already planning on booking her again. She is awesome. She definitely exceeded my expectations.
Shrav was AMAZING with my cat Mephi. She was extremely detail oriented and worked hard to make sure she got any specific care instructions correctly. She definitely went above board and cleaned up and did other tasks for mephi’s and my home’s care that I was not expecting at all. I came home to a very happy and healthy kitty and clean home and never worried about my cat while I was away. Would definitely recommend booking with Shrav!!!

Alejandra was very kind and accommodated my last minute request to take care of a community cat I took in a few days before my trip. She took very good care of all of my cats and sent me a lot of pictures of all of them every visit! I’m going to rebook her for my next trip as well! She is a very caring person for your pets!

This was our 2nd time booking Rachel and she continued to be an amazing choice! We were gone for longer this time – two weeks - and we didn’t have to worry at all. She came twice a day, took care of all the basics like food, water, and litter and gave them lots of love. As always, she took so many (amazing) photos that showed what a great time they were having and helped us feel ease. We will definitely continue to trust her to care for our kitties when we travel!

Ellie is wonderful and we loved having her take care of our cats while we were away for a long weekend! She was super responsive and sent lovely photos and a video of them playing together on her drop in visits. She will be our first ask when we go away again next!

Liv has been helping us with our two cats for a year now and I really couldn’t express how lucky we are to have her! She’s great with communication, proactive and throughout her visits, and she really goes above and beyond when we’ve had some emergency needs for our cats while we’ve been gone. Highly recommend!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
