“Ms. Heather was such a delight! She came through in a crunch time of mine. She’s super sweet and very responsive. She took GREAT care of my fur baby. My little Amirah loves her! She was so supportive and detail oriented when it came to my dog. I definitely recommend her and I will be using her in the future!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and even a few exotic pets for years. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, so I’m comfortable with pets of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I treat every pet like they’re my own. Some dogs want to play nonstop, some would rather nap next to someone, and others just want a long walk and plenty of sniff breaks. Tell me what makes your pet happy, and I’ll stick to their routine. • 30 Minute Dog Walks include walks around your neighborhood or a nearby trail so your dog can get exercise, sniff around, and burn off some energy during the day. • 30 Minute Drop Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, fresh water, and plenty of attention to help your pet stay comfortable while you’re away. • My Basic House Sitting service includes overnight stays so your pet can stick to their normal routine at home. I also provide daytime care every 5 hours for potty breaks, meals, playtime, and company. Pet care fits really well into my routine. I have a flexible schedule and am available most weekdays, with weekend availability depending on the booking. I just appreciate a little advance notice so I can give your pet the time and attention they deserve. I try to make every pet feel as comfortable as possible by following their normal routine. Every pet is different, so I’ll match their energy and personality. If they love to play, we’ll play. If they prefer to relax, I’m happy to hang out with them instead. I’ll always respect your home’s rules, keep a close eye on your pet, and send regular photo updates so you know they’re doing well. ◡̈
About: I have taken care of many breeds of dogs throughout Highschool. I also was in FFA and raised a steer and I love all kinds of animals. I am available on the weekends and during the week. I will be going back to school in mid August so that is the last week I can work. I always respect the owners home and treat their dogs with the upmost respect. I like playing catch with the dogs and enjoy taking them on walks
“Dani is the best. She is extremely knowledgeable but does not judge us for our ignorance of all things puppy like many would (she puts up with so many dumb questions with a smile on her face). She has been more than a dogsitter; rather, she has been our guide through our first crack at puppy parenthood, and I am sure even dog veterans could learn a great deal from her. More importantly, our pup absolutely loves her.”

About: As a lifelong animal lover with a strong educational background in companion animal care, I bring both passion and expertise to every visit. My experience spans boarding facilities, veterinary hospitals, and even farm animal care — giving me the confidence to handle dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. I recently relocated to Houston and I’m excited to build relationships with pets and their owners in my new community. Whether your dog needs a reliable evening walk or a drop-in visit while you’re at work or out for the night, I’m here to help keep their routine consistent and stress-free. I’m also an avid runner, so if your pup has energy to burn, I’m happy to pick up the pace. My schedule is flexible for mornings and evening bookings, and I treat every animal in my care with the same attention and respect I’d want for my own.
“Heaven was great - friendly, communicative & reliable. And when my flight was canceled & rescheduled to the next day, she came to check on my cat one extra time at the last minute. Definitely recommend!”

“Burak was great! he was very communicative and super nice! he seems to get along with Cal very well and was easy to get in touch with and book everything!”

“Emily came for drop in to feed the dog while we were on a family vacation. She was responsive to messages and was very helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to book again for the next time we need someone to take care of Moro.”

“Alejandra was so good with Basha and super communicative. She made sure he was cuddled, fed and played with. Will definitely be using her again and would recommend her to anyone.”

“Bryan was delightful to work with and is extremely talented and trustworthy when it came to my pitbull mastiff. He always kept me in the loop with pictures and nice messages with each trip to my house. If I ever need to get out of town again, he will be the guy I’d call first. I recommend him to anyone who wants a hassle free pet sitter.”

“Tk was amazing and a Christmas miracle after a friend cancelled on me last minute to come and pet sit my two kitties over the holidays. She went in 3 days in a row, two being on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and went above and beyond to make sure my babies were safe and happy. She followed instructions perfectly too so could not have been happier with her services”

“Nandini took great care of our pup while we were out of town for five days- kept us updated and is a strong communicator! Would definitely book again and recommend her to friends and family!”

“Graciela is thorough and kind. She made sure to pay close attention and took care of my kitties when they had developed a cold. She was knowledgeable and recommended supplements and strategies to boost their immunity!”

“Daniele was an awesome cat sitter!! Do not hesitate to use her services, she took care of all 5 of my cats while away for three weeks and even gave ear medication/lotion to Henry’s ear.”

“Yuriko was wonderful (as usual) and was even able to graciously accommodate us last minute! She treats our Garbo with respect and care and she takes the best pictures of her.”

“Catherine was wonderful! She is sweet, always prompt in responding to messages, and took great care of our kitty Garbanzo. She was also accomodating with our weird key situation and we would definitely book her again!”

“Joe was awesome! I was overseas for 20 days and he watched my sweet cat Roz every 3 days. He sent a lot of photos and updates. Roz clearly loved him and he clearly loved Roz. Joe's passion for animals transpires and he was super sweet with Roz. Highly recommend!”

“Kayla was great with my cat and keeping me updated on her meals because I was worried that she wasn't eating enough. She sent lots of cute photos and I felt like my cat was in good hands!”

About: I'm an avid dog lover who has grown up with dogs since I was a teenager and has never been without them in my life since! I currently help dog walk and sit for a few clients but want to extend this to more in need. Now that my daughter is heading to college I have more time to love on dogs and help others while helping my heart smile from the visits. My schedule allows me to pop in at various times of the day as needed. I'll be having even more time as my daughter transitions to college. I have a patio for the dogs to enjoy but also live close to Memorial park and Levy park so I can take them easily to dog parks to play.

Robin did a great job taking care of our 3 cats while we were on vacation. She followed our instructions, was quick to communicate with us and treated our cats like her own. I would definitely recommend her and will be rebooking in the future when we need a pet sitter again

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bellaire. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
