“Megan provided a fantastic service, I’ve never seen our dogs look so happy when they were with Megan and she provided such great updates with photos during her walks and visits with our dogs, the ease by which she managed the schedule with our dogs was such a relief to be able to leave the dogs with Megan and know she was taking very good care of them, Megan is a nice, pleasant and professional sitter and we would definitely recommend her to our friends and anyone one who is looking for a really great animal lover to look after their pets, and we will definitely look to book Megan again. She provided a 10 out of 10 service and I cannot speak highly enough about her and our dogs loved her. 😁”

“We were thankful to have Olivia as our pet sitter while we were away!! She was extremely communicative by reaching out to let us know what was going on and responding promptly to all our messages. Our cats were very well taken care of, and we would def book with her in the future!!”

About: I have fostered dogs and cared for both dogs and cats my entire life, and I genuinely enjoy helping people who need support with their furry sidekick while they are away. I am a pet parent myself to an anxious rescue puppy, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your animal. I have experience with reactive dogs, anxious dogs, and all kinds of rescue backgrounds. I have also had cats, so I am familiar with every temperament and never take anything personally. I previously cared for a senior dog who needed daily medication, so I am comfortable and experienced giving medications to both cats and dogs. I have fostered puppies and adult dogs as well, so I can easily handle any medication or special requests. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. I’m currently a doctoral student and do most work from home so my schedule is very open and flexible. I am available everyday of the week and open schedule for timing. I do not have a backyard, however I live next to Midtown park that has a dog park that very few dogs attend and so your furry friend will have many opportunities to run around! I do have one anxious dog that will be kept away from your pet if needed. However, your pet will have access to the 2 bedroom apartment and their own room to sleep in.
“Ms. Heather was such a delight! She came through in a crunch time of mine. She’s super sweet and very responsive. She took GREAT care of my fur baby. My little Amirah loves her! She was so supportive and detail oriented when it came to my dog. I definitely recommend her and I will be using her in the future!”

“Mateo is absolutely incredible with my cat Max. He is so kind to him and Max has warmed up to him so fast. He takes excellent care of him and Maxie follows him around like they have known each other for years. Mateo is amazing!”

“Natalie is an exceptional sitter who will go above and beyond for you! I was out of town for two weeks, and she dropped in to check on my three cats every day. She informed me ahead of time if she had to come late. I used pine litter and she also helped sift the litter a few times while I was gone. She even took in my Amazon packages and took the trash out for me, which I wasn't expecting from a sitter! Overall, she gave me peace of mind during my travels and I would book her again in the future.”

“We were really happy with Michelle looking after our huskies, Thanos and Kai, while we were out of town for a couple of days. She was reliable, attentive, and caring. Before our trip, she came over to our home to meet us so we could go over all the details, which immediately gave us peace of mind. Because of our busy schedules, our dogs usually only get walked late at night, but she managed to take them out for lovely walks both before and after her work shifts. Getting them outdoors seemed to have kept them happy, exercised, and well-cared for. She made sure they were fed, had fresh, clean water, and stayed in constant communication with us while we were away—complete with adorable photo updates! Thank you so much!”

“Heaven is great!!! My kitty always looks content when I come home. She also takes great action shots of Phoebe lol. She’s a great sitter for my baby and I don’t use any other sitter anymore after going with Heaven.”

“Bailee was wonderful! She dropped in every other day to check on my cat Remi. She sent pictures and notes every day. Bailee even watered my outside plants for me. Bailee is dependable and punctual and Remi was comfortable with her. Highly recommended!”
“Dani was very patient and a wonderful sitter to my pup, and followed my instructions to a T! She was always very communicative and even went above and beyond to make sure my pup was comfortable. Would rebook again!”

“Yuriko was fantastic with my cats, especially my younger one who is a bit resistant to taking the medication he needs. She kept me updated on their behaviors, specific information related to my younger one’s health, and sent pictures/videos of them every day. My younger one even warmed up to her towards the end - a feat done by few others! She answered all my questions promptly and really eased my anxiety. I also really appreciated her not wearing shoes in my home - something I feel strongly about but don’t ask of pet sitters so as to make things easier, but she noticed during the meet and greet and I could see in some pictures that she continued to respect that preference. She has strong attention to detail. Highly, highly recommend!! I will absolutely choose Yuriko again for all future needs.”

“Burak expertly accommodated Leo for with his first drop-in experience with Rover. Burak had a playful energy that Leo really enjoyed from his first impressions and throughout the service. Leo was so happy to spend time with Burak with each drop in. Burak was super caring and patient with Leo, I got prompt updates and communication about Leo which put me at ease throughout my trip. With Leo being a reactive pup. Burak was able to flawlessly handle Leo's specific training needs during his walk. We can't wait to reach out to Burak for our next drop-in! Safe to say Leo has a new friend.”

“Ynes is the absolute best!!! I will be getting her to take care of my kitties again. She loved them and took such great care of them. She sent updates and pictures everyday that exceeded my expectations. My cats are already wondering where their favorite cat sitter is :) thank you for everything!!!!!”

“Allison was fantastic with my two cats! She handled everything with care, including giving one of my cats her shot without any issues. The visit notes were detailed and thoughtful, which gave me great peace of mind. Highly recommend!”

“We have had 10+ sitters and a ton of visits through rover and Joe was hands down our favorite so far. We had two senior dogs who need a lot of assistance and have a lot of meds to take. Joe came over and met them before hand and was so patient gaining our dogs trust and getting to know them. He brought in our packages that came, took such good care of them and gave so many great updates. He made our long weekend away so good knowing they were in great hands. 10/10 recommend him for going above and beyond :)”

“Mikayla took EXCELLENT care of our cat while we were out of town. 100% recommend. We were anxious to leave him, but she sent us multiple photos everyday and gave him lots of love. We will definitely use her in the future.”

“This is the second time I’ve booked with her and she is great! She remembered the instructions from last time so I was able to just give a brief recap. She was timely in taking care of my cat and left detailed notes of her visits.”

“Karleen is phenomenal!!! She took such great care of my two kitties. Every visit she provided in-depth notes, took pictures, and always kept me in the loop to let me know how they were doing. Karleen was so attentive and loving to my babies. I was so at peace knowing they were in good hands while I was away. Will most definitely book Karleen again! Highly recommend.”

Rachel is the best - I messed up the booking dates and she rearranged her schedule to check in on the cats. I know they are in safe hands so I don’t have to worry (even with our complicated medical cat)! She also goes above and beyond to make sure they have some enrichment time.

Alejandra was very kind and accommodated my last minute request to take care of a community cat I took in a few days before my trip. She took very good care of all of my cats and sent me a lot of pictures of all of them every visit! I’m going to rebook her for my next trip as well! She is a very caring person for your pets!

This was our 2nd time booking Rachel and she continued to be an amazing choice! We were gone for longer this time – two weeks - and we didn’t have to worry at all. She came twice a day, took care of all the basics like food, water, and litter and gave them lots of love. As always, she took so many (amazing) photos that showed what a great time they were having and helped us feel ease. We will definitely continue to trust her to care for our kitties when we travel!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
