About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and truly treat them like family. I grew up with a dog for over 10 years, which taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and daily care. Now, I have a dog of my own, so I understand firsthand the attention, love, and structure pets need to feel safe and happy. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just keeping them company, I’m committed to giving every pet the same care I give my own. I’m available for drop-in visits and walks during the week, and I’m flexible with timing. I’m happy to coordinate with your schedule to make things easy and stress-free for you and your pet. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable and cared for as possible while you’re away. I stick closely to their normal routine, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, or quiet time. I’m gentle, attentive, and respectful of their space, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you know they’re doing well.
“Claire is great with my 3 Boston’s. In addition to this she's reliable, very responsive and sends photo updates. I definitely will ask Claire to drop in again and recommend her.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and even a few exotic pets for years. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, so I’m comfortable with pets of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I treat every pet like they’re my own. Some dogs want to play nonstop, some would rather nap next to someone, and others just want a long walk and plenty of sniff breaks. Tell me what makes your pet happy, and I’ll stick to their routine. • 30 Minute Dog Walks include walks around your neighborhood or a nearby trail so your dog can get exercise, sniff around, and burn off some energy during the day. • 30 Minute Drop Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, fresh water, and plenty of attention to help your pet stay comfortable while you’re away. • My Basic House Sitting service includes overnight stays so your pet can stick to their normal routine at home. I also provide daytime care every 5 hours for potty breaks, meals, playtime, and company. Pet care fits really well into my routine. I have a flexible schedule and am available most weekdays, with weekend availability depending on the booking. I just appreciate a little advance notice so I can give your pet the time and attention they deserve. I try to make every pet feel as comfortable as possible by following their normal routine. Every pet is different, so I’ll match their energy and personality. If they love to play, we’ll play. If they prefer to relax, I’m happy to hang out with them instead. I’ll always respect your home’s rules, keep a close eye on your pet, and send regular photo updates so you know they’re doing well. ◡̈
About: Howdy, I'm Tori! I'm a calm and patient sitter who specializes in earning the trust of shy or anxious pets. The dog, who is now a daily regular of mine, that started my interest in providing services for more pets, started out terrified of me; she was so unsure, she wouldn't even come back inside the house for me from the backyard. I learned quickly not to push or rush her, just give her space, consistency, and a calm presence. Now she runs to greet me, wiggling and whacking everything with that happy tail like we are the bestest of friends (Anxiety meds did help but now she doesnt even need em). Most of my personal pet experience comes from having kitties, so I'm very comfortable with sensitive, independent, or slow to warm up personalities. I live in an apartment, so I am only available for drop in visits. I like to focus on keeping routines steady, creating a quiet environment, and communicating clearly with owners so you always know how your pet is doing. I love all animals, even scalies, and work hard to ensure each one feels safe, respected, and cared for. I work in education, so I have school holidays off. I'm off at 3:30, check in with my regular at 4 and am done with her by 4:15 so I am free on weekdays after that. On weekends I am completely open. I like to meet with you if I can the first time to see exactly how you'd like things done. I enjoy sending status photos and am always near my phone if there are any last minute details you need to get to me.
“Mae took great care of our two kitties, took lots of photos, and communicated well with us. We will definitely be choosing her as our cat sitter again!”

“Ashley was amazing!! We live in an apt & one of my dogs gets very skiddish when he goes out and she handled him so well!! Will definitely use her again!”

“Miranda and her partner are easy to work with and very reliable. They tracked down an Amazon delivery that arrived while I was away and sent daily reports and photos of my cat's emptied food bowls, since my shy cat doesn't appear during their visits. Traveling is less stressful knowing they are keeping an eye on my pet and my home while I'm gone.”

“Best sitter ever! She always goes above and beyond, brought my mochi girl the cutest dress and is super communicative. I really don’t have to worry while I’m away, even my cats get taken care of and shown some love. Will forever rebook.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for most of my life and truly love spending time with animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I had a French Bulldog for many years, and because my parents traveled frequently, I was his primary caregiver—handling his daily routine, feeding, walks, playtime, and giving him all the love and attention he deserved until he sadly passed away last year. I’ve also cared for two Great Danes, so I’m comfortable with both small and giant breeds. Through these experiences, I’ve become confident handling dogs with different temperaments, energy levels, and care needs. Today, I regularly volunteer at Friends For Life, a no-kill animal shelter, where I work closely with many of the dogs that need extra patience and care. I help feed, walk, play with, and administer medications to dogs, including many who have experienced neglect, abuse, medical issues, or behavioral challenges. Working with these special dogs has taught me how to build trust, stay patient, and make each dog feel safe and loved. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important it is to know your furry family member is in caring, reliable hands. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently nanny just for 1.5 hours a week so I have a pretty open schedule! I have a car so I’m able to do transportation as well if needed! I’m also open to last minute requests! I have a very open backyard that’s completely fenced, it has trees and a pool. No animals in my house anymore so it’s open for any animal!
“For starters, I loved meeting Ida prior to our sitter dates. We had so much fun talking about our pets and their histories. We live within walking distance from each other and also shared some stories about the neighborhood. Meeting her in person made me feel very good about leaving for three days while she came to feed our cats. And while we were gone, she sent a message every day when she arrived along with pictures and a report about what the kitties were up to. She even took photos and videos! Ida also did a couple of non-pet related chores like bring in our mail and check our pond for water level. I did not worry one bit about the cats while we were gone thanks to her! I would recommend anyone to hire Ida to look after their pets. For your dogs too! She is a lover of both cats and dogs and personally has both as pets. Thank you Ida for stepping in for us while we were out of town! We hope you are available for the next time.”

“This was my first time using Rover app and was very apprehensive using a pet sitter I didn’t know. Well, let me say that Cheyenne put me at ease right away. I felt my girl Sophie was in great hands. And she was. Cheyenne took excellent care of my kitty. Next time I’m planning a trip, Cheyenne is now our sitter.”
About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs for friends and neighbors since as young as 11 and grew up with as many as 3 dogs in the home at one time!! Would love to meet your fur babies! I currently am going to school and working in retail so my schedule is super flexible. I will never be gone for more than 4 hours (that is roughly how long my shifts are) at a time. I don’t work everyday and some of my courses are online, so I can spend a lot of time caring for your animals! Shoot me a message if you have any questions! Will always make sure the fur babies get lots of love while they are in my care and my neighborhood being on the bayou I like to take advantage of walks (if it’s not too hot!).

Daniele is amazing with Cats and they are drawn to her quickly. She loves cats and they respond to her. Getting the photos daily as well as video keeps you close to your fur baby. The Rover check in and check out offers a sense of calm that your cat is happy and being taken care of. We definitely will rebook Danielle.
Shiela did a wonderful job caring for our cats while we were away. Our two cats have been experiencing some tension for the past several months- Shiela did a great job giving them their anxiety supplement during every visit. She also groomed them, played with them and gave them treats. Prior to the cat visits, she also suggested purchasing Feliway spray for our cats, which our cats seemed to like, and she sprayed it during visits as well. Thank you Shiela! 🐱

Claire is absolutely wonderful! She took amazing care of our dog and cat, paying close attention to their routines and needs. We especially appreciated her incredible communication, responsibility, and how safe she made our pets feel. We couldn't recommend her more!

Highly recommend! She took amazing care of our babies and went completely above and beyond. We had an unexpected issue with our AC during her visits, and she was incredibly helpful, flexible, and communicative throughout the whole process. She sent the sweetest updates and photos, and it’s clear our pets loved her. We would absolutely book her again! Thank you so much! ♥️

Nathalya is the greatest! My two kitties were in such good hands while we were gone. This was our first time booking a sitter for them and so my partner and I initially were nervous and hesitant but she made it so easy! We are so grateful and will definitely be booking her again in the future :) thank you again!!!

We had a great experience with our pet sitter. He took care of my 6 adult cats and 2 newborn kittens and was extremely attentive to details. He went above and beyond and even did a few extra things without charging more. I’ll definitely be rebooking in the future!

I was pleased with the care and attention that Raghad gave to my cats while I was away. She has excellent communication, quick to respond, and always kept me updated with photos. My cats were happy and well-cared for, I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional pet sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
