Animals are part of a family!
I believe that dogs and cats deserve love and attention just like other family members. When their owners are gone they need adequate care and attention to help them feel secure. I grew up with dogs and a cat - currently own a large dog and senior cat, both rescued from the SPCA. I also foster dogs for K9 Angels. In addition, one of my children is in FFA and we have raised chickens and pigs!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Dawn. We found ourselves in a difficult situation and needed care for our pet on very short notice, and she stepped in without hesitation. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to help both us and our animal, making an incredibly stressful situation so much easier. What stood out most was how genuinely caring and compassionate she is. It was obvious that she doesn’t do this simply as a job—she truly loves animals and treats them as if they were her own. She went out of her way in so many ways to make sure our pet was comfortable, happy, and well cared for, and we always felt completely at ease knowing they were with her. One of the sweetest things she did was buy toys for our new kitten completely out of her own kindness. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to us and perfectly reflects the type of person she is. We are incredibly grateful for everything she did and would trust her with our pet again without hesitation. If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, compassionate, communicative, and truly invested in the well-being of the animals she cares for, we wholeheartedly recommend her! Dawn takes great care of our old dog Buddy. She is responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommended for boarding.
Dawn is wonderful and took great care of my cat! She is friendly, attentive, and quick to respond to messages. She was patient with my cat during our meet and greet (as she was hiding under the bed) and adapted to my cat’s more social attention seeking side while I was gone. She also went above and beyond bringing in my trash can and helping to feed my feral TNR cat colony. I will definitely be using Dawn again in the future and would recommend her to other cat owners!
Amazing as usual. We’ve used Dawn several times and every time has been a great experience. Great communication and always sends cute pictures and keeps us updated on our fur baby
Dawn was absolutely fantastic. She watched our old boy all week while we were gone for our wedding and kept us updated the entire time. Highly recommend her!

I work full time but have a flexible job that allows me to be available to check on animals as needed for attention, feedings and walks.

The care I provide will be determined by the instructions left by the client. I believe in following all rules and schedules set by client.

Each animal is different! Some animals are lap dogs/cats that want to curl up on you and want to be petted and loved on. Others have a ton of energy and need the extra walking time and more time throwing a ball in the backyard to burn some energy. I believe you can determine the animal’s personality shortly after meeting them and decide what is best after reading the owner’s instructions. I enjoy walking in neighborhoods around my house and we also have a park across the street.
