She is very responsive and sends us very detailed updates about how our pets are doing while we are out of town. Our pets also seem to love her as they don’t show any signs of distress when we get back home which used to be a problem when we would board them at pet care facilities. “Yuriko was fantastic with my cats, especially my younger one who is a bit resistant to taking the medication he needs. She kept me updated on their behaviors, specific information related to my younger one’s health, and sent pictures/videos of them every day. My younger one even warmed up to her towards the end - a feat done by few others! She answered all my questions promptly and really eased my anxiety. I also really appreciated her not wearing shoes in my home - something I feel strongly about but don’t ask of pet sitters so as to make things easier, but she noticed during the meet and greet and I could see in some pictures that she continued to respect that preference. She has strong attention to detail. Highly, highly recommend!! I will absolutely choose Yuriko again for all future needs.”

While I am new to the pet setting industry, I’ve had pets all my life, and sat for relatives and friends when they went out of time. I’ll treat your pets like they were my own beloved dog. I work from home Monday-Friday and can make time for feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of attention. I prioritize keeping pets on their normal schedule and providing dependable, loving care while their owners are away. I follow each pet’s normal routine to help them feel safe and comfortable. I make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of exercise or playtime, bathroom breaks, and lots of love and attention. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can have peace of mind while they’re away.

“We have had 10+ sitters and a ton of visits through rover and Joe was hands down our favorite so far. We had two senior dogs who need a lot of assistance and have a lot of meds to take. Joe came over and met them before hand and was so patient gaining our dogs trust and getting to know them. He brought in our packages that came, took such good care of them and gave so many great updates. He made our long weekend away so good knowing they were in great hands. 10/10 recommend him for going above and beyond :)”
