The love of dog is a true blessing
I have pet sat and dog walked for friends and family since I can remember - all sizes and ages of pets. I come from an incredibly caring family of animal lovers and we've all adopted and rescued at some point in our lives and shared our experiences of individual pet behaviors. I understand that unwalked or lonely pets can be difficult to raise with excess energy that has no outlet, so if I can help by breaking up their day a little, I'd love to help you out. I can drop in to keep them company, feed and play with them. I can take them for walks locally and treat them when we get home. I only take a few bookings a day so I can be more attentive to those pets, so they feel valued, rested and happy and not rushed in and out. About me: I'm an outgoing finance professional with more time on my hands recently and looking for more life balance and fresh air!

Claire is absolutely wonderful! She took amazing care of our dog and cat, paying close attention to their routines and needs. We especially appreciated her incredible communication, responsibility, and how safe she made our pets feel. We couldn't recommend her more!
2nd round of booking with Claire. Everything went great, and she did a great job earning the trust and cooperation of my sometimes-obstinate dog. She took care of feeding the two dogs twice a day and handled it perfectly considering they eat a lot of ingredients and supplements!

Claire was my first experience using Rover and a very positive one. I’ll be sure to contact her first next time I need help. She did a meet and greet the day before and then mmm took my dog for two one hour walks the same day and gave a medicated shampoo bath to a new rescue. Fast response time, great communication, and confident around dogs.
Claire was phenomenal at taking care of my dogs! She’s very attentive and sent me updates on how they’re doing. Very grateful.
We have never been comfortable with trusting Lola with anyone for an extended period as she is not good with other dogs. Claire excelled in taking care of Lola and we came home to a very happy dog! Claire is trustworthy, caring and dependable couldn’t have asked for anything more. Must add this was during the freezing conditions we had in Feb so making doggy care even more challenging.

I fit walks into my day around other commitments to help break up the day. Its good to get away from the desk for some air.

Safety, trust & environment
It depends on the client. With high value dogs clients prefer that I stay on their property, so I've ensured that we have their favorite toy available to play fetch for 30 mins! For others, I ensure I have a safe walking route from the home and we take our water and poop bags and we walk fast or slow depending on the age and ability of the dog.
Pets
A typical day
I'm an active person but go at the pace of the dog. Want to run? Let's go buddy. Want to stop to sniff the flowers? We can stop a while to read the ground. How about some treats and cuddles and some playtime? I have a relatively calm demeanor which helps puts pets at ease and hopefully they'll get to know me quickly.
