I worked for a local rescue for about 6 years and was on the board of a no-kill shelter for 3 years. I have basic vet tech knowledge and am happy to give meds and care for sick, special needs, injured, young or senior pets. I've fostered over 200 animals (including cats, dogs, bunnies and even pigs), and have loved every one - I'll love yours as my own, too, and keep them happy and safe while you’re away! I will be happy to stick to your already established routine as far as potty time/potty training, mealtime, exercise time, and sleeping/crating. I'm familiar with giving shots including insulin, sub-cutaneous fluids, medicating or giving vitamins/supplements and have a basic knowledge of medical concerns and issues and lots of experience with local vets, including ERs. I will make sure that your pets are feeling their best! I have limited experience with exotics and livestock, and always willing to learn more and take care of all of your pets. Also happy to care for your home - watering plants, pool care, picking up the mail/newspaper, etc. Can’t wait to meet you - and your furry/feathered/scaled family soon! Pet care is the center of my world, and it’s all I do! It’s truly my passion, and every day revolves around my pets - and yours! Safety first! I have a tall wooden fence that I check regularly for holes and damage. My neighborhood is safe, and pets are always supervised when outside, and allowed on all furniture, dog beds and people beds too.
