“We were absolutely delighted with the care Jillian gave our dogs when we were traveling for five days. She sent us many pictures of our girls, fed them on time, and gave them medicine when appropriate. She spent time giving them lots of pets and scratches. We will definitely have Jillian as our sitter again.”

“I have used Nathalya twice and she has provided excellent service. I have two dogs and one is super stubborn and not friendly. However Nathalya has been so patient in finding clever ways to win Bella over. Finally, Bella is friendly and allows Nathalya to walk her. My other big fur baby is friendly and loves his time with Nathalya, and she always provides pictures of their time together. I have a peace of mind, and would definitely recommend her to others.”

“It was my first time using Rover and actually first time leaving my dog in the hands of a stranger. Natalie was so awesome and took such good care of our doberman Murphy. She maintain great communication throughout and even with the couple hiccups we ran into like our door pad not working, she worked with me on a solution. She was so patient and understanding. I highly recommend her!”

“Kelly did a great job looking after my boys while I was out of town. Communication was excellent and she made friends with both cats. One of them is shy so it was a challenge but Kelly was up for it. I will definitely use her services again.”

“We were really happy with Michelle looking after our huskies, Thanos and Kai, while we were out of town for a couple of days. She was reliable, attentive, and caring. Before our trip, she came over to our home to meet us so we could go over all the details, which immediately gave us peace of mind. Because of our busy schedules, our dogs usually only get walked late at night, but she managed to take them out for lovely walks both before and after her work shifts. Getting them outdoors seemed to have kept them happy, exercised, and well-cared for. She made sure they were fed, had fresh, clean water, and stayed in constant communication with us while we were away—complete with adorable photo updates! Thank you so much!”

Whether it’s long walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, or sticking to their daily routine, I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and my goal is to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet your pets and give them the care they deserve! I have a flexible schedule and love making time for pets! I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine so they stay comfortable, happy, and stress-free. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how they’re doing. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so they receive the care they’re used to. You can count on regular updates and photos for peace of mind while you’re away.

About: My entire life, my home has been described as the neighborhood’s “local zoo.” From livestock to pocket pets, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals over the years. I’ve volunteered working hands-on with animals at the zoo, and currently care for two dogs, one cat, some small animals, and fish I’ve been pet sitting for over five years and have experience with many dog breeds, ages, and personalities. I focus on building trust, supporting positive behavior, and helping animals feel safe and comfortable in my care. I believe pets deserve to enjoy being animals—without unnecessary stress—while still feeling understood and respected by the humans around them. I’m currently a full time commuting student. My school hours will begin at 8am and end at 4:30pm most days. I will be available to feed and walk your pet before and after these timings. Weekends I am free with notice. Pets are allowed supervised free roam of my home. During the day, they will likely be confined to one room or a crate if needed while I’m at school. Pets will have unlimited access to water, other dogs to interact with, plenty of toys, etc.
“Dameng took exceptional care of my dogs while I was out of town, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. It gave me such peace of mind knowing they were in caring, reliable hands. My dogs were happy, well cared for, and received plenty of love and attention. Dameng was dependable, communicative, and treated my pets like they were their own. I highly recommend Dameng to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their furry family members.”

“We couldn’t be happier with our experience! Our three dogs aren’t always the easiest crew to manage, but she handled them incredibly well and quickly became best buds with all three. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in good hands while we were away. She was reliable, caring, and clearly has a great way with dogs. We came home to three happy pups and will absolutely be using her again in the future. Highly recommend!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Meadows Place. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
