Welcome to Heaven’s Pet Haven 🐾
I offer over 7 years of animal care experience - not including my own pup, Major, who I adopted when I was 12 years old - with many species. Starting in 2014, I began getting experience within a zoo setting during a specialized education program. From there, my experience grew with 2 years of college courses on handing farm animals, volunteer work at animal shelters, pet sitting for friends and family throughout college, 5 years of professional zoo experience, and 4 years of professional pet care.

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
During drop-in visits I take dogs on walks of whatever length they can manage and is preferred, offer additional playtime, feeding, medicating. For pets that are more home bound, I will offer playtime, cuddles and rubs, after feeding, cleaning enclosures/litter boxes, and washing any pet dishes. Overall, I will follow the specific schedule that is given during the meet and greet if there is one.

Heaven did an amazing job keeping my cat Kali company while I was gone! I was nervous about leaving her for a couple of days, but Heaven kept me updated whenever she checked on her, which gave me the reassurance I needed. She was also flexible with dropping off the keys to my place once I got back. I highly recommend her, she obviously cares a lot about animals!

Schedule
I am currently a full-time employee and my schedule is: Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 7a-3:30p Monday 7a-6:30p (which I can request to be a normal shift if necessary) Thursday 7a-12:30p My off days are Fridays and Saturdays. I am often times able to drop in between 5-6:30 am before my shift if morning feedings are required.
