“So thankful for Kristina and her family! They treat my baby girl like their own and always update me with photos and videos. Every photo I get she looks so happy and loved. They’re pretty far from where I live and I would still rather make the drive to leave truffle with them than leave her with someone closer. I couldn’t ask for a better family to sit my dog.”

“Brittney has been an absolute blessing for both me and my dog, Nile. Since December, Nile has been going to her regularly for daycare and boarding, and it truly feels like her second home. The excitement Nile shows every time we pull up to Brittney’s place—and the reluctance to leave!—says it all. Brittney treats Nile with so much love and care, and I can always tell she’s had the best time because she comes home happy, relaxed, and all smiles. Knowing that my dog is safe, loved, and genuinely enjoying herself gives me so much peace of mind, especially on busy workdays. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter. Thank you, Brittney, for everything you do!”

“Andrea was wonderful! She watched my two dogs for 6 nights, and took such good care of them that they came home so happy and exhausted. My dogs can sometimes be a handful together, but she did a great job! She sent lots of photos of them, and was always very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely ask Andrea to watch my dogs again in the future!”

“Ricky had a wonderful time with Amy she is really nice and always on top of your pet’s need she will communicated with you daily , sends you pictures and always open to talk to her. She is great with dogs lovable For sure we will rebooked her it was a wonderful experience for Ricky”

“So happy with how Regan took care of our little Zero. You can tell the love she puts into carting for your dogs and I would 100% recommend her for anyone needing a sitter for their furry family member”

“We loved how they cared for Oscar as if their own, heeding to his particular personal needs and trying to understand him. He was very well looked after and we received timely updates with texts and pictures. They were very patient with all our queries too. We loved how empathetic they were with pets and treated him with so much empathy and gentleness. He was very relaxed and his usual self when he got back home. Definitely recommendable and we will surely be requiring their care in future again for Oscar. Thank you again Sudha and Ravi🙏.”

“Fantastic stay with Ara! Alfie couldn't be happier than he is with Ara. She takes wonderful care of him. He is very excited to see her every time she takes care of him! I never have to worry about him when she is taking care of him.”

“Sandra has been amazing! She always send us updates and pictures during Ludwig’s stay at her house. We are so happy we found her and are definitely bringing Ludwig back to her.”

“I knew Megan was the right person for me when I walked into her home and saw dog beds and toys around the house. Megan is genuinely sincere and caring. She made my 15 year old fur baby Georgia welcome. Megan responded quickly with updates and pictures. She allowed Georgia to sleep in her bedroom at night to keep an eye on her. That meant a lot to me as Georgia is an older dog and being in a new environment. After about a week, I felt assured and no longer worried about Georgia. The day I picked Georgia up Megan had every thing packed and ready. I will not hesitate to book with Megan again when I need to. Thank you so very much Megan!”

“We have used Daniel and Kristi several times. Our dogs absolutely love them! When we get out of the car my dogs run to the door to greet them and make themselves right at home. My girls ( dogs) love going and that makes my heart happy. The daily updates and photos always show them happy and cozy ( I've got lazy old girls) . So thankful to have found a great pet sitter!!!”

“The BEST sitter I’ve found for my Remy. Marisa is such a sweet person and my Remy still misses her. She sent beautiful pictures every single day, took Remy to the park daily, etc. I couldn’t be happier with her service and I definitely found Remy a regular sitter, that’s if she isn’t so booked.”

“Hannah was very attentive and communicative while we were out of town. She consistently sent photos, which eased our minds while we were away, and it was clear that Daisy enjoyed her stay when we picked her up.”

“Eva and Kallven have been very good to Milo! They send daily updates and is very easy to communicate with! I will surely use their services again in the future!”

“Brandy is an answered prayer. After meticulously looking over various reviews of sitters, her reviews stood out regarding the care she provides for senior and disabled dogs. I have a senior baby (dog) and this is the first time I've had to leave him for a long time with someone who wasn't family or a friend. I was nervous because he's become a picky eater, sometimes not eating. As a pet mom, I try everything and I wasn't sure I could find someone with that level of love and patience. Brandy was so understanding and accommodating. She allowed us to do a last minute short stay before our longer, 2 week trip and this opportunity calmed every fear. From the moment she walked outside, her gracious and sweet spirit was so endearing that I instantly knew Jojo was in great hands, and he was. I could tell that Jojo felt right at home with her and her pups. She suggested a dog food that now has my baby eating, which is such a relief! I would definitely book again and again!”

“Mixie took great care of our dog Sush while we were away for the end of the year holidays. I am grateful to have found Mixie. She sent me pics and videos of Sushi very often and I saw that our dog was happy with her and the other dogs. Thank you very much Mixie!!!”

“I cannot even explain how wonderful Patty was with Bear! I was super worried as I have never left him with anyone but family before. I'm so thankful I found Patty!!! She send updates every day with pictures and videos! Bear was very well taken care of! I will certainly use Patty again.. She is the best!!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Sugar Land
We had a wonderful experience with Sandra and her husband! She sent daily photos and updates, so we always knew Mochi was having a great time and being well cared for. It was obvious Mochi was happy, comfortable, and getting lots of love and attention. As an extra thoughtful touch, Mochi even came home with some adorable gifts. We truly appreciated the excellent communication and care, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!

We are overly grateful for Amanda's love and care for our two doggies. We were away for an extended time, which was the longest we've ever been apart from them. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in such loving hands. Amanda is very organized and on top of everything. She sent us pictures, videos and updates constantly. Thank you Amanda for being Zoey and Remys home away from home!

Thank you Diana, best dog sitting experience we have had. Diana kept us updated on everything worth knowing, incl pictures. Our dog is not easy and she managed to succesfully introduce her to one of her own dogs, and they played and we saw out dog get more and more comfortable as the week progressed , Thank you.

What an amazing care taker Joanna and Brian are. We have had some bad experiences via rover but this one is a keepsake. We will be going back only to them in the future. Remo had a wonderful break at their place and they kept sending so many pics of him throughout our vacations. Our entire family enjoyed those pics and we were happy that remo was in a safe place. I would give them 100 stars of at that was an option. Thank you so much. Our baby had so much love to give and I truly hope you enjoyed him as much as he did.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Valerie and her family. From the very beginning, she kept me informed every step of the way, which I really appreciated. She regularly sent photos and videos of Coco. Communication was excellent, and it was clear she genuinely cared about Coco. Seeing the updates along the way gave me so much peace of mind. Thank you for taking such great care of Coco! 🐾🌈

This was my first time leaving my pup at someone’s home for long period of time — 2.5 weeks! I was nervous about how her weird quirks and mischievous antics, but Scott and his family were confident and experienced. From the photos, it seems she was a happy pup and it went smoothly!

Faith was great. Tony can be a handful as a Great Dane, but she just had a way with him. Luke is easy going. She communicated constantly and provided so many pictures. It was great knowing our dogs were being taken care of by someone who cares. Would definitely book with her again

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Wonderful Experience! Ms. Mary was amazing with my dogs! She’s caring, reliable, and treated them like her own. I loved getting daily updates and photos — it gave me total peace of mind while I was away. My pups came home happy and relaxed. I highly recommend Ms. Mary and will definitely book with her again! 🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
