About: I’ve cared for dogs and other pets for over 25 years and especially love caring for senior dogs who need extra patience, comfort, and attention. I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, fish, tortoises, guinea pigs, and other small pets, and I treat every animal with dependable, loving care while you’re away. Pet care is a way of life for my family. As a stay-at-home mom with five kids in school during the day, I have the time and flexibility to give your pets plenty of loving, attentive care. I provide dependable in-home pet care including drop-in visits, dog walks, feeding and food preparation, medication administration, playtime, companionship, and lots of loving attention to keep your pets comfortable in their own home.
“Shang made boarding very easy. He communicated very well and was always quick to reply and sent me pictures. My dog had a great time at his house and playing with Shang’s dogs. Would definitely board Charles with him again.”

About: I have over 18 years of experience a both owning and fostering for dogs, from many breeds, Chihuahua to German Shepherds, from puppies to older pups. I’ve also been through several obedience trainings and have experience administering medication. I work from home and will be at home every day, so dogs can be uncrated for most of the day if needed. We can walk, feed and play as their schedule needs. I have a fully fenced yard as well for extended outdoor time. There’s a dog park with a lake very close by if that’s an environment your dog would be comfortable in.

She picked up all my dogs and coming back my flight got delayed twice and arrived later than expected , she was very patient and nice enough to keep the dogs until the morning!! “Daniel and Kristy were awesome! They took great care of our two golden retrievers for a couple weeks while we were out of town. Communication was great, and they sent us pictures of the doggies every day we were gone, which we really appreciated! We felt very comfortable leaving our pups with them and will definitely reach out to them the next time!”

“I have used Patricia on almost every time I go out of town and I'm always amazed with her level of care for my pet. I hesitate in leaving a good review for selfish reasons (I don't want her to get so booked that I have to find another sitter).”

“Donna is absolutely fantastic! We use her to come by the house a couple times a week and just recently used her for boarding. She is a great communicator and we can tell how much the pups love her. I would recommend her to anyone.”

“Andrea was wonderful! She watched my two dogs for 6 nights, and took such good care of them that they came home so happy and exhausted. My dogs can sometimes be a handful together, but she did a great job! She sent lots of photos of them, and was always very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely ask Andrea to watch my dogs again in the future!”

“This was the first time I’ve left my girl at a sitter for so long, which I was really hesitant about doing. But Mixie and her pup Mia were the perfect company for my girl. I could tell my girl felt comfortable with Mixie. We were in constant communication during the time my pup was with her, keeping any concerns at bay. I can tell my pup enjoyed her stay. I will definitely be rebooking!”

Andrea was AMAZING… she sent so many pictures and videos throughout the stay. We were especially nervous since our dog is a diabetic and gets nervous but Harley seemed so comfortable at her house. Will definitely be booking with Andrea for all our vacas. Thank you for being such a great sitter !!!
Alison is a wonderful senior dog caregiver! My 15 years old Chihuahua, Kiki, is definitely a "hard case" because of his mobility issues and need for extra attention during potty breaks. Alison followed every single instruction to make sure Kiki felt safe and comfortable. She helped him get around, gave him his medicine right on time, and showered him with cuddles. Alison and her family are the most pet loving people you will ever meet. they truly care for your pet like family, not just as a job.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Valerie and her family. From the very beginning, she kept me informed every step of the way, which I really appreciated. She regularly sent photos and videos of Coco. Communication was excellent, and it was clear she genuinely cared about Coco. Seeing the updates along the way gave me so much peace of mind. Thank you for taking such great care of Coco! 🐾🌈

This was my first time leaving my pup at someone’s home for long period of time — 2.5 weeks! I was nervous about how her weird quirks and mischievous antics, but Scott and his family were confident and experienced. From the photos, it seems she was a happy pup and it went smoothly!

Faith was great. Tony can be a handful as a Great Dane, but she just had a way with him. Luke is easy going. She communicated constantly and provided so many pictures. It was great knowing our dogs were being taken care of by someone who cares. Would definitely book with her again

Amanda was excellent in her care for Sandie, a senior dog. She clearly understood Sandie's needs. Amanda was thoughtful and diligently send photos daily of Sandie enjoying her stay. I can understand why Amanda gets repeat pups to care for...she is very kind and professional.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Wonderful Experience! Ms. Mary was amazing with my dogs! She’s caring, reliable, and treated them like her own. I loved getting daily updates and photos — it gave me total peace of mind while I was away. My pups came home happy and relaxed. I highly recommend Ms. Mary and will definitely book with her again! 🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
