Mature dog-lover that owns big dogs
I have owned dogs all my life, but currently own no dogs. Both my dogs died in 2025 at the age of 15 1/2. Have owned Rottweilers, beagles, Swiss Mountain dogs, redbone coonhounds, dachshunds, also small dogs. I am in good health, and responsible. I am retired from the Sugar Land Police Department. We have a large kennel, large fenced yard, large dog pool, food and water dishes and toys. We never let dogs outside without watching them. I know that dogs are more comfortable staying at home, especially older dogs, but because most people dont want strangers in their homes i usually board at my home. It would be my pleasure to care for your pet(s) in your absence. Dogs will get lots of love and attention while we watch them, and i will stay with dogs at all times when they are outside. If your dog has a favorite toy he likes to play with, i will provide exercise. Dogs can be taken to the Sugar Land Dog Park for an additional fee due to the time involved. Because I am retired, i will have plenty of time to spend with your pets and would love to spoil them just as i spoiled my own dogs.

We absolutely love Sandi and her husband. They treat our dogs like family. When we are gone we know our babies are spoiled and loved. We don't leave them with anyone else anymore.
Sandra and her husband are very nice and lovely. They took care of my dog far beyond I could have imagined. It truly felt like my dog found his second home with them. They constantly sent me photos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was happy and well cared for. You can really tell how much love and attention they give to the dogs they watch. I will absolutely be coming back again next time. Highly recommend!
Sandra has been amazing! She always send us updates and pictures during Ludwig’s stay at her house. We are so happy we found her and are definitely bringing Ludwig back to her.

Schedule
I am retired and do not have any routine responsibilities that would keep me from giving pets my full attention while under my care. Most of our dogs have been 80 to 110 pound dogs.

I have a fenced yard and currently have no dogs.. Dogs will be kept in the house unless not housebroken and taken outside for potty breaks and exercise.
A typical day
Play in backyard, play with toys provided by pet owner. Large windows and corner lot so pets can see out. Lots of petting and belly rubs.
