I just adjust to the pet and their needs because they each may require different needs. I’ll go along with what pet parents make notes of
Information Nancy L. would like to know about your pet
Before watching pets, it’s important to know key details that will help keep them safe, happy, and comfortable. I like to ask about their daily routine, such as feeding times, walking schedules, and any special habits they have. It’s also helpful to know about their health, including allergies, medications, or conditions I should watch for. Understanding their temperament is just as important, whether they’re shy, energetic, or need extra patience around other pets or people. I also like to ask about their favorite toys, treats, or activities so I can make them feel at home, as well as any rules the owner prefers, like furniture boundaries or training cues. Having this information ahead of time helps me give the best care possible while making sure their pets feel loved and secure.
A typical day
When I watch pets, I love to keep them active, happy, and comfortable by engaging in fun activities that match their personalities. For dogs, I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch, and spending time outdoors to let them burn off energy, while also mixing in cuddle time and relaxation if that’s what they prefer. No matter the pet, I always make sure to follow their routine, provide plenty of attention, and add little touches of fun, whether through play, training games, or simply sitting with them so they feel loved and cared for while their owners are away.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of and trained my own dogs for 5 years. I was a pet trainer at PetSmart for 2 years & trained many different dogs. I take pride in what I do and am very cautious and give every dog what they need because they’re all different
Reviews

Nancy was great walking our dog and making sure he made it safely back inside while we were working long shifts. Have already booked additional walks!

Very good communication. And she’s always on time! My introvert dog even loved her and came to ask for cuddles! Will definitely be using her again in the future.
