“Fritzy’s stay was amazing. Great sitter, sent pics and updates throughout the day. I felt so at ease knowing our dog was with her. She went above and beyond to make sure he had a great stay. 110% would recommend her and 110% would use her again! And I’m sure Fritzy would love to go back too! He looked so happy?? thank you!”

“Stephanie was super accommodating with a very early and last minute request. Throughout the day I received updates and photos which kept me reassured my pup was in good hands. Thanks again Stephanie! Munchie looks forward to his next visit!”

About: I’ve spent the at least 10 years caring for dogs of all ages, from tiny puppies learning the ropes to seasoned seniors who just want a cozy nap and some love. I've rescued a few puppers and ended up keeping 2! I’ve helped with basic training, puppy routines, and plenty of playtime in between! I treat every pup like my own — with patience, affection, and lots of belly rubs. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or keeping up with training, your dog will feel right at home. (Currently a dog mom to 1, 8 year old lab mix rescue). Currently working from home with a very flexible schedule! 7am-5pm I may have a few meetings with tons of breaks. I typically do two long walks a day (30 min each) and at least 6-8 potty breaks throughout the day. I like letting your pet tell me what they need in terms of outdoor visits. I like to listen to dog parents and stay within your recommendation! My goal is to make sure your babies are as comfortable as possible.
About: “I have cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities for many years. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets. I am patient, responsible, loving, and always treat every pet as if they were my own.” I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. I am available during the week and on weekends for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and lots of attention. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions and make sure every pet receives plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and care in a safe and comfortable environment.
“Great experience! Most doggy care places open too late or close too soon for our work schedule. She was able to accommodate our puppy last minute, with our schedule! Our puppy had fun with other doggies. We receive multiple pictures and videos! Great location for people living/working in the med center, downtown, midtown area!!”

“It was a pleasure to have Tran & Anh as our pet sitter. They were very nice to our pet. Fast response. Always keep in touch with us throughout the day with pics and videos. Highly recommended!”

“Really great experience! She was able to take care of my poodle last minute. She sent dozens of pictures and took him on a lot of walks. He came back pooped and happy!”

About: I’ve had dogs around me from childhood through adulthood. I feel like dogs are some of the most loyal creatures on earth that will love you unconditionally. Watching and identifying their various personalities, has been intriguing for me. My dog and I spend a lot of time together. We enjoy walks through Terry Hersey Park a few times a week. We also take the opportunity for him to socialize with others, once a week, at Bill Archer Dog Park. With that being said, even though I don’t currently have a yard, there is plenty of opportunity for any dog I am watching to enjoy taking walks and play time in the outdoors. I currently work remotely, so I have the time to care for your fur baby while you are away. I am looking forward to caring for and getting to know your fur baby! Working from home allows me the opportunity to watch and care for dogs on a weekly basis. Every dog that I board temporarily becomes my responsibility and receive the same level of care as my own dog. Due to limited space, I'm only able to board 1 or 2 dogs at a time. Even though I would love to watch more, it's rewarding to be able give the proper amount of needed attention to each dog.
“Anna did a wonderful job looking after our sweet puppy! I was nervous about leaving my pup for the first time, but I needn't have been. She was well taken care of and Anna sent me lots of photos and was great at communicating how Indi was getting on. I would highly recommend Anna!”

“We are so thankful for Scout’s time with Yaivy! This was her first time not with a family member since we got her in May, so we are all nervous about how it would go. Scout unfortunately had a few messy accidents, and not only was Yaivy gracious about, she cleaned Scout, the kennel, and her toys so she would be fresh & clean when we picked her up.”

“Daniela saved me last minute on a day I couldn't find care for my doodle!! She was flexible, warm, and sent awesome updates throughout the day. I could tell my dog fell in love with her and didn't seem to want to leave at the end of the day!”

“This is our second time booking with Tori and Lilo loves her! Before ever booking with her, he’d never done any type of doggy day care before. He was a little shy on our first booking but warmed up to her by the end of his first day. By day three he was excited to see her when she came to pick him up. I just had my second booking and as soon as he saw her, Lilo practically jumped into her arms. He actually remembered her and was happy to see her. Tori makes sure to walk him as regularly as he needs and he always comes back happy. He’s a velcro dog and she doesn’t mind LOL. I’d never use Rover before booking with Tori, but am glad I found this app and her! She makes my little guy feel comfortable and safe!”

“Leaving our two dogs with Liron during the day on July 4th was a huge blessing because we had a large family gathering at our house. Liron has a great set up for dogs who visit, and she was intent on learning what our dogs might need during their stay. Liron gave our diabetic dog her pill on schedule, which she texted us about when complete. During the stay, Liron sent a sweet photo of the dogs happily sitting with her, and then later she sent a video of the dogs playing. When we arrived for pick up, both dogs were contentedly settled down on the couch with the family watching World Cup. Such a sweet sight. Needless to say, our dogs had a great time, and we will not hesitate to book with Liron again in the future. It's clear that Liron loves dogs, and she works hard to provide a wonderful service to dogs and dog owners alike.”

She was so kind and understanding. We got a new pup that had been crated his whole life but we were going out of town just days later.. Stephanie helped potty train him, bathed him when he woke up covered in poop 😵💫 she kept me updated the entire time with pics and texts. We will be booked her for our next trip but with both doggos!

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
