“Leaving our two dogs with Liron during the day on July 4th was a huge blessing because we had a large family gathering at our house. Liron has a great set up for dogs who visit, and she was intent on learning what our dogs might need during their stay. Liron gave our diabetic dog her pill on schedule, which she texted us about when complete. During the stay, Liron sent a sweet photo of the dogs happily sitting with her, and then later she sent a video of the dogs playing. When we arrived for pick up, both dogs were contentedly settled down on the couch with the family watching World Cup. Such a sweet sight. Needless to say, our dogs had a great time, and we will not hesitate to book with Liron again in the future. It's clear that Liron loves dogs, and she works hard to provide a wonderful service to dogs and dog owners alike.”

About: I'm a solo dad to three big dogs, two German Shepherds and a Pitbull/Shepherd mix, and dogs have been part of my life since I was 12 years old. All three are rescues and I raised each of them from puppyhood. Last year I said goodbye to my husky after 13 years together, and that kind of love doesn't go away. It just makes you want to give it to more dogs. I'm a Bay Area native who spent five years in Texas before moving back last summer. During that time I volunteered with Greater Houston German Shepherd Dog Rescue and served as a foster parent for GSDs waiting to find their forever homes. I've worked with dogs that came from neglect, shelters, and difficult situations and helped them feel safe and loved while they waited for the right family. That experience changed the way I see dogs and deepened everything I already knew about the breed. I prefer to come to your home rather than bring your dog to mine. Your dog stays in their own space, with their own smells, their own bed, their own routine. For a lot of dogs that makes all the difference, and for a lot of owners it's one less thing to worry about. I have a truck so getting around is never an issue. Parks, trails, wherever your dog loves to go, we'll get there. I've got a lot of experience with big breeds specifically. The energy, the space they need, crate training, the whole thing. I know how to handle a strong dog and I know how to make one feel safe. Whatever your dog needs, patient and slow or active and social, they're going to get real attention and genuine care. My schedule is pretty open right now, which means your dog gets real time and attention, not a quick check-in between other commitments. I’m available most days for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays at your home. The main exception is two weekends a month when I travel for work, but outside of that I’m flexible and responsive. Morning and evening walks are my default routine. I know fenced in spots around the area where dogs can actually run and roam without running into other dogs, which is great for high energy breeds that need to really burn it off. After every outdoor outing I wash paws before heading back inside. My preference is always to come to you. Your dog stays in their own environment, sleeps in their own bed, and keeps their normal routine intact. For most dogs that alone makes a noticeable difference in how comfortable and settled they feel while you're away. Once we've had a chance to meet and your dog is comfortable with me, boarding at my place is also an option. I have three dogs of my own so I'm thoughtful about who comes into that space, but for the right dog it can work really well. I'm comfortable with medication administration, crate training, grooming, and bathing. I have a truck for vet runs or anywhere else your dog needs to go, and I'm physically capable of handling and lifting large dogs up to 120 lbs, which matters more than people think when you have a big breed.
“Piyaon was so friendly and her home was very warm, welcoming and clean. My Bruno trusted her very quickly and felt right at home and relaxed. Thanks Piyaon we will see you again”

“Gabriela and Thomas are fantastic! They are our go-to sitters for our puppy Ripley, who is jumping up and down with excitement when we bring him to their house, and usually whimpering with sadness when we have to bring him home. They are extremely responsive and accommodating and have been lifesavers for us on more than one occasion. We don't know what we'd do without them!”

“Lisa is absolutely amazing! My pup is very shy toward new things and people, but she felt very comfortable with Lisa. She sent pics and videos and it was nice to see my pup enjoying her stay. I am so glad to have found such a loving and caring person to care for my pup when we need a sitter!”

“Alejandro and Keyla are excellent pet sitters whom we have used repeatedly. The attention and care they show towards our Nala is so comforting to us. Nala is extremely happy when she arrives and returns home a sleepy puppy from a wonderful day. We will continue to use Alejandro and Keyla without any hesitation. You can book with the knowledge you are leaving your pet in very capable hands.”

“Karla was amazing! Sugar had a blast at her house playing with Karla's dogs. Karla was very professional and provided update texts, photos and even videos. Her kindness, warmth and love for dogs was evident in all the communication. Sugar was loved and well taken care of. I will definitely be sending Sugar more often!”
About: My dogs love hide and seek treats-athon. My kids join in on the game too. I highly encourage basic obedience training indoor and outdoor, whenever and wherever, and I’m happy to work with any dog or puppy on refining or learning these skills all the while unlocking their hidden talents. I’m an independent contractor and set my own schedule. When and if I have to step away, my dogs will be kept indoors and so will yours. I have a large crate and several play pens, if needed. I let my dogs out to relieve themselves as needed, which is usually 2-4 times daily. I walk my dogs in the afternoon and/or in the evening, at odd times to become accustomed with different times of days and weather/temperature conditions. I have a large high fenced backyard with a saltwater pool. I guided both my dogs to be confident swimmers and retrievers. They’ll only swim when invited. I don’t have a doggy door and keep the entry doors closed and locked at all times. The dogs will stay inside and free to roam, and will be let out as needed and will be monitored during playtime in the backyard. I don’t have back neighbors and my fence gates are locked and secured. If your pup needs alone time or their own space, I have a guest room upstairs that I can secure with a swing gate. I have two large 40x25 aluminum Kuranda beds with fleece padding for the dogs to relax at their leisure when indoors. I also have an extra large 47” Sytopia bed for the dogs to relax at their leisure when outdoors. My pool deck has two in ground umbrellas for extra shade during those hot summer days along with a covered patio and free standing canopy.
About: I have always been a huge animal lover. After I graduated college and settled down, I ended up finding the most fulfillment working with animals and providing them with excellent care and companionship. I currently have a decently open and flexible schedule every day, depending on where my kids are and what bookings are already made. Middays can fill up fast! I have experience with each and every temperament imaginable. I make sure to meet each client and their pet beforehand so that everyone feels comfortable with me being in their home. I love being outdoors and being active with dogs, as well as indoor visits just giving attention.
About: Dogs have been part of my family since I was 7 years old and will continue to be for my lifetime. My wife and I fostered dogs during the pandemic so we have had experience caring for a wide range of dog breeds and sizes. Pets are our passion and we appreciate the time and wonderful memories we share when having new dogs in our home! I work from home / remote so I am able to very easily fit my pet care into my daily routine. It is not uncommon for both of my dogs Lily (pointer-mix) and Ted (Goldendoodle) to not leave my side during the day. I would be able to easily fit additional dog walking / care into my schedule. My backyard is medium sized fully fenced and plenty of room for my dogs to run around and play to get exercise. When inside both are allowed to freely roam the house, each also has their own designated eating area and dog bed. If needed I have 2 baby gates to fence off our hallway inside the house and a large size crate available, both are options to provide your dog its own space if necessary.
“I feel incredibly lucky to have met Isha. She truly loves dogs, understands their personalities, and is a professional sitter in every way. She responds clearly and promptly to all questions and genuinely cares about making sure dogs feel comfortable and at ease. Her dog Zoey is also incredibly sweet. I’m so grateful to have found such a trustworthy sitter for when I’m out of town or busy with work. I highly recommend her without hesitation.”

“Day 1 was as much a blessing for me and my 4month goldendoodle! Grace quickly adapted and fell into okay rotation with the other fur friends before I dropped her snacks for the day! Ms. Angela’s gentle care, loving presence and professionalism gave me peace of mind for our first time apart! The video and picture updates made me smile!”

“Thankful Joshua was able to watch my puppies last minute. They had a great time and came home super tired lol which is always a plus!! They had a great time and I felt like they were safe and taken care of.”

Since we moved here, we have helped our friends take care of small and medium sized dogs. We are always attentive and always make sure they are looking after their needs. Now that school is out for the summer, I have plenty of free time to share with you to take care of your dog. My family is an animal-loving family. “She took wonderful care of my pup! And her kids are so sweet with him, they even made him a card~ She also took wonderful photos of Jay to keep me updated. I was very grateful that Sylvia was super lenient with the last minute push-back pick up time. When Jay got back home, he was so tired and went right to bed. I'm sure he spent an awesome time playing around and being well taken care of~ 10/10 would recommend!”

It was Cleo’s first time at daycare with Kara, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment I dropped her off, I knew she was in caring and capable hands. Cleo had several playmates to keep her company, but she especially loved spending time with Kara’s sweet dog, Loki. Watching them run and play together in the backyard through the photos and videos Kara sent throughout the day truly warmed my heart. What meant so much to me was seeing how happy, comfortable, and well cared for Cleo was. Every update showed her having the time of her life, and it gave me such peace of mind knowing she was enjoying herself while I was away. The best proof of how wonderful her day was came at pickup time—Cleo didn’t want to leave! She was having so much fun with Loki that she wanted to keep playing. As a pet parent, there’s nothing more reassuring than seeing your dog so happy and eager to stay. Thank you, Kara, for treating Cleo like part of your family and making her first daycare experience such a positive one. I felt completely at ease leaving her in your care, and I will absolutely be reaching out to you again in the future. Highly recommended! ❤️🐾

Abby did an amazing job taking care of my dog, Simba! You can truly tell she loves animals and treats them like her own. Simba was happy, well cared for, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. I would definitely recommend Abby to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their pets.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Cinco Ranch commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,015 sitters in Cinco Ranch, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
