“Where do we begin? Rowena was BEYOND AMAZING when she babysat our Pomeranian for almost a week. She went ABOVE & BEYOND anything we could have expected, and treated our dog like he was her own. The pictures and videos she sent us throughout the week showed him being spoiled and adored by her, and totally eased our anxiety about boarding him (for the first time ever) while we were on vacation. We can’t say enough good things about Rowena. She is absolutely the best sitter we could have ever hoped for. She was kind & loving to our dog (child) & she even catered to some of his high maintenance needs (like helping him eat more slowly & taking him out in the yard to run around, to let him get his “zoomies” out, etc). She had to watch 4 different animals including my reactive/aggressive elderly chihuahua in very brief sessions (30min 1/day) and I'm so impressed with the level of care and consideration she gave our pets. When my chihuahua refused his regular medication, Genesis offered to come outside of our booked time to try again and went above and beyond at her next visit to make sure he got his dose, trying to put it in different foods and treats until he finally successfully took it. She took great pictures of our babies and gave us detailed updates and was so compassionate even when my chihuahua was reactive towards her. About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, and other animals since I was a small child. I am very good with dogs and know how to manage even the jumpers, growlers, and hissers. I’ve always had an innate ability to bond with animals. I’m very punctual and detailed oriented. I truly care for animals and their owners. About: I had cats, dogs, fish, and hamsters since I was little. My kids and I had an albino lobster, turtles, hamsters, rabbits, chickens, and roosters. Currently we have 2 dogs, a hamster, and a fish. My routine is walking in the morning and evening when coolest. I let the dogs out throughout the daytime as needed. I have a fully fenced backyard with a view of the golf course at Meadowbrook Farms. We have shade and a covered back patio. Between my two daughters and myself, the animals are free to sleep wherever they like. They'll always have attention and snuggles. I wake up early and have a lenient work schedule. There always seems to be a dog in my lap or around me wherever I go. I enjoy walks around the neighborhood and bring them with me. At night, I spray lavender essential oil and use white noise sleep sounds for the dogs and myself before bed. They're usually snoring before I fall asleep. I have a fenced yard and go outside with them while they potty. I will walk with my clients through the home and ask if they see anything that may be harmful for their dog if they were to get into it (i.e. cords,...). I don't leave small plastic toys out that could get eaten by mistake. I carry childrens Benydryl as well in case of any allergy attacks (have never needed to use it - knock on wood). If a dog is possessive over food I feed them in separate rooms.
