“Leah did great with our babies! 4 cats and 1 dog is a large ask, so we were very happy to receive updates that everyone was doing well. Leah had great communication, did great with following feeding schedules and provided timely check ins. Will definitely be booking with Leah in the future!”

“Hannah house sat for me while I was on vacation, and she took great care of my kitty! She made sure to play with him and keep him company, and she sent me photos of him. He loved having her watch him! I definitely recommend Hannah for anyone who needs a cat sitter!”

“Where do I begin? Sherine was nothing short of amazing! She was super friendly and attentive to all our needs. She updated us frequently and always let us know if she had any questions. She took great care of our two Yorkies, showing them lots of love & attention! Before she left, she did a good job cleaning up that we didn’t even ask for! You want to leave your pups in great care with no worries, then book Sherine.”

“Sydney was absolutely wonderful! Before our appointment, she took the time to meet Mona, get familiar with our area, and understand all of her needs. On the day of the appointment, she was punctual, and kept me updated throughout, which I really appreciate it. Most importantly, Mona was so happy to spend time with her! I highly recommend Sydney and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Thank you Sydney!!!”

“Allison was amazing with our girls Milli and Maxi. She was responsive with all her replies, our special requests and we felt at ease with Allison taling care of our girls at home. The babies always had big smiles and were always very relaxed. Thanks for all the updates and a great job all around. The girls look forward to her next visit.”

“Can't say enough about Tuongvi! Excellent service! She's our sitter of choice and she should be yours! I'm not much for long reviews. Let me just say I doubt there's any better sitter out there!”

“Darrius was amazing with my two pups. We had to travel last minute and he was quick to respond and schedule a meet & greet. He sent texts with updates along with pictures and videos. We are so glad we found Darrius and will absolutely use him in the future.”

“Jasmine stayed with our 2 dogs while we were on vacation for 4 nights! Our dogs are picky about who they like and they warmed up to her super quick during the first meet and greet. She took great care of them and the house as well. We got updates each day and she responded quickly when we reached out to her!”

“Kaitlyn did a fantastic job. We had an older dog and a very hyper puppy and she was so good with both. She sent updates and pictures. We would use her again in a second.”

“Lana is great - super reliable, on time and most importantly she kept the puppy super happy ! Those with puppies know that this can be a busy job ☺️☺️☺️. We did book her twice and will definitely book her again”

“Amazing! Jess took care of our three dogs, a 13Y F/ 4Y M/ 7Y M, while we were away for a weekend trip. They range in personality and in needs and she was able to take care of them all well. We hope she’s free the next time we plan a trip given we’d definitely rebook her for overnight stays.”

“5 Stars for Nelson! Nelson is hands down the best pet sitter out there! I recently had the absolute pleasure of trusting Nelson to care for my pets while I was away, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very start, he showed deep concern and thoughtful attention—not just to tasks, but to the emotional and physical well-being of my pets. He kept me consistently updated with sweet photos and messages, took initiative by changing the cat litter without being asked, and played wholeheartedly with the dogs. He even took Missy on multiple walks—completely unprompted—simply because he cared. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare. What really blew me away is how Missy, who doesn’t warm up easily to people (especially men), loved Nelson. That’s practically a miracle in itself—and speaks volumes about his gentle energy, patience, and kindness. Nelson gave me genuine peace of mind. His heart, intuition, and respect for my pets’ personalities make him incomparable. If you’re looking for someone who goes above and beyond and truly gets animals, Nelson is the one. Missy already misses him—and honestly, so do I!”

“Andrew was so great! He gave us such peace of mind while we were away for a week. He sent us daily updates and photos. The pups were taking care of and in good spirits. He took extra time to make sure our dogs were comfortable before we left. Highly recommend!”

About: I have owned and trained animals for the past 20 years. From owning horses, to dogs and cats. I love caring for animals. I always make sure they have the freshest food and clean water at all times. I love I'll spoil and give attention to my animals whenever they want. Treats and cuddles are a top priority. I am currently in grad school online so I have a very flexible schedule. I am available most days and times of the week too accommodate your pet's needs. I owned and operated my own boarding and training facility for horses for 15 years. Horses were meticulously cared for ensuring that they always had access to high quality food and fresh clean water. I now currently have a couch potato golden retriever and an orange and jobless cat. Both are completely spoiled with love and treats.
“Natalie is AMAZING!! She did a meet and greet with us and it was clear from the start how much she loved animals. Aside from instructions, she got on the floor and engaged with our cats. While on our trip, she sent us pictures, videos and updates for all three cats. Eventually, even our shy cat came out and began hanging out in the common area; she made sure to check on him everytime she came over. She was amazing with communicating when she was on her way and heading out, too. While we were gone, she even cleaned up litter from the floor and tidied uo our place. She is phenomenal, we really appreciate Natalie so much!”

“I couldn’t be happier with the job that was done for me. From start to finish she was reliable and paid great attention to detail and took exceptional care of my pet. I always leave and return stress free knowing Tamanda is here. Thank you…”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Cinco Ranch
We immediately liked Dee upon meeting her. Warm and personable, she was wonderful with our two small dogs, staying in our home while we were gone over Memorial Day weekend. One dog has special needs and requires pills three times per day and eye drops twice per day. We greatly appreciated Dee's trustworthiness and follow through in taking care of what the dogs needed while they were in her care. The house looked great upon our return, as if she hadn't even been here. She also communicated well with us. We would love to have Dee back in future, and we look forward to it.

Lilian was amazing with our babies and our home. She was attentive, and responsive, always ensuring we got pictures and updates about their day to day. My dog is dog reactive when on leash, and has a pretty extensive training routine; Lilian did great at following all of our instructions and keeping up with their training and routine. Our animals loved having her and Truffle (her dog) over. Thank you for taking care of our babies so well!

We were so happy to find Tuongvi for our two girls. Our elder dog, Peggy, has several medical conditions that require specific and timely care. Our younger dog, Jordan, has a lot of anxiety and distrust new people. Needless to say, we had specific needs and concerns. Tuongvi was fantastic! She came by for several meet-and-greets to make sure that our girls would be comfortable with her. Her regular, daily photos showed us how happy and comfortable our girls were with her and her partner. In fact, I am pretty sure our girls went looking for them the night we came home! We will definitely rebook Tuongvi again, and we highly recommend her.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Cinco Ranch walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Cinco Ranch maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Cinco Ranch choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cinco Ranch. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
