“Genesis is a fantastic sitter! She had to watch 4 different animals including my reactive/aggressive elderly chihuahua in very brief sessions (30min 1/day) and I'm so impressed with the level of care and consideration she gave our pets. When my chihuahua refused his regular medication, Genesis offered to come outside of our booked time to try again and went above and beyond at her next visit to make sure he got his dose, trying to put it in different foods and treats until he finally successfully took it. She took great pictures of our babies and gave us detailed updates and was so compassionate even when my chihuahua was reactive towards her. She's also very professional, kept the dog areas clean and organized, and her experience and efficiency really showed in their care. We're so grateful and happy that we had such a positive experience our first time using Rover, and we'll definitely be booking with Genesis again. My animals received many, many walks while under my care. I’ve dog sat for countless neighbors, family friends, and strangers, and I’m no stranger to scoopin’ some poop. My oldest pooch is 18 years old, and I’m more than aware of the stubbornness that age brings along. I’ve raised many puppies too, so I’m familiar with the nuance of tender yet firm care. I have class on Tuesday, Wednesday, And Thursday, so Friday-Monday is more than often available. I try to visit home once a month to spend time with my family, including my dogs, so I’d love to fill this canine void I experience here in San Antonio. I have been the owner and the stranger to untrusting dogs, so I’ve gathered the best way to approach these kind of animals from both sides. I have no issue with getting on their level, exercising patience, or crating. I pick up on mannerisms and comfort levels easily, and I can adapt to the needs of each animal efficiently.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. My family and I have had many rounds of fosters over the last 7 years, including many puppies. I also currently have three dogs of my own, two being more recent foster failures, and one being our cuddly old man. I work part time at a stretch studio, so my schedule usually consists of a lot of gaps throughout my day. I like to also stay active so getting more walks in or just being out helps a lot! I walk and feed my dogs pretty much every day despite being one out of five people in my family. They also end up having to get bathed especially after rainy days. I am proficient in walking multiple dogs at once.

About: I have taken care of my neighbors and friend’s pets growing up! I have a soft spot for animals and I always make sure to treat them with a lot of love. I’ve also always had a dog or cat in the household so I am very familiar with caring for pets every day and understanding their needs. I’m currently a college student but I am home for the summer! I do have a job but I only work 2 days a week so my schedule is very flexible. When I go care for your pets I will treat your home with respect and make sure that if your pet has had an accident to clean it up and make sure the house looks exactly where you left it.
