About: I am a 27 year old mom that’s been a long time pet owner. I have always been the go to person to pet sit for my coworkers/boss/friends and loved getting to know and care for all different pets. My favorite animal is a jellyfish! I used to work as a nurse aid in an elementary school, so I am quite comfortable with administering any types of medications or testing that’s needed! Being a current stay at home mom, my hours are completely flexible for what you need! I am currently a stay at home mom and have a fully flexible schedule to do any type of drop in visits! I am currently not doing any boarding for animals. I am very thorough with instructions and will always ask if there’s any concerns about the clients pets. My number one priority is to make sure the client and their loved one is comfortable and have a peace of mind that their pet is in good hands.

About: I have owned dogs all my life, but currently own no dogs. Both my dogs died in 2025 at the age of 15 1/2. Have owned Rottweilers, beagles, Swiss Mountain dogs, redbone coonhounds, dachshunds, also small dogs. I am in good health, and responsible. I am retired from the Sugar Land Police Department. We have a large kennel, large fenced yard, large dog pool, food and water dishes and toys. We never let dogs outside without watching them. I know that dogs are more comfortable staying at home, especially older dogs, but because most people dont want strangers in their homes i usually board at my home. It would be my pleasure to care for your pet(s) in your absence. Dogs will get lots of love and attention while we watch them, and i will stay with dogs at all times when they are outside. If your dog has a favorite toy he likes to play with, i will provide exercise. Dogs can be taken to the Sugar Land Dog Park for an additional fee due to the time involved. Because I am retired, i will have plenty of time to spend with your pets and would love to spoil them just as i spoiled my own dogs. I am retired and do not have any routine responsibilities that would keep me from giving pets my full attention while under my care. Most of our dogs have been 80 to 110 pound dogs. I have a fenced yard and currently have no dogs.. Dogs will be kept in the house unless not housebroken and taken outside for potty breaks and exercise.
About: I've taken care of both cats and dogs since I was about 10 years old. Growing up, we frequently had both cats and dogs in the house. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for about 2 years before working there for 1 year. I have pet sat for a family every summer for the last 8 years or so and I also worked at a pet boarding place 1 summer. I'm currently working part-time so I will absolutely have time to take care of your pet! I can stay overnight and take care of a pet, and only work an average of six hours a day so I still have plenty of time to spend with a pet! I spend a lot of time hanging out with and getting to know each pet in order to meet their needs. I can play, walk, and feed pets as well as just be a calming presence if that is helpful for them.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I provided dedicated senior care for my chocolate Labrador, Copper, who lived to the incredible age of 18. Today, I have two pit bull mixes that join me on hiking adventures throughout the year, and I even harness-trained my kitten for outdoor adventures. I am currently a wedding photographer in off season and have pretty good availability during the week for pet sitting. I typically work weekends but with enough notice and special occasions I'm flexible. I have one high energy dog and one older dog. So daily walks are a must. Sometimes separate and sometimes together. Our walks are typically 1 to 2 miles. I have two friendly dogs at home but I do have smaller home and a husband with allergies. So in my own home would probably be a case by case basis. As for other people's home's I'm flexible and respectful of house rules.

Rachel was awesome. For a request to be last minute she is great. I would recommend her to anyone. She was great with my dogs, one of my dogs are elderly and she made sure that she was well taken care of. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
