I’ve been caring for dogs since middle school and have loved every minute of it! I’m a certified veterinary assistant with 3 years of hands-on experience and currently working toward becoming a licensed veterinary technician. I also volunteer at the Houston SPCA, where I gained even more experience working with pets of all kinds and personalities. Having had animals my whole life, I truly understand how much they mean to their families. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or just extra cuddles, I’ll always treat your pets like my own—with love, patience, and plenty of attention.

When I visit a client’s home, I always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable right away. During drop-ins, I follow each pet’s routine—whether that’s feeding, playtime, potty breaks, or giving extra cuddles and attention. For walks, I keep things fun and active while making safety my top priority, always using secure leashes and paying attention to each dog’s comfort level. I treat every pet like my own, making sure they’re happy, relaxed, and well cared for until their favorite human returns!

Genesis is a fantastic sitter! She had to watch 4 different animals including my reactive/aggressive elderly chihuahua in very brief sessions (30min 1/day) and I'm so impressed with the level of care and consideration she gave our pets. When my chihuahua refused his regular medication, Genesis offered to come outside of our booked time to try again and went above and beyond at her next visit to make sure he got his dose, trying to put it in different foods and treats until he finally successfully took it. She took great pictures of our babies and gave us detailed updates and was so compassionate even when my chihuahua was reactive towards her. She's also very professional, kept the dog areas clean and organized, and her experience and efficiency really showed in their care. We're so grateful and happy that we had such a positive experience our first time using Rover, and we'll definitely be booking with Genesis again. Genesis was beyond spectacular! I’ve never had a dog sitter come to my house before, but Genesis exceeded all expectations. She was punctual each and everyday and communication was consistent and thorough. She went above and beyond with cleaning up accidents with an elderly dog and I couldn’t recommend her more! I fully trusted her in my home and with my baby and am so grateful for all that she did!!

I had Genesis watch my cat, Toast, when I was away for the summer on a family trip and she took such great care of her! She texted me updates with videos almost every day and even works as a vet assistant, so I knew Toast was in good hands. On top of that, Toast is a shy cat but warmed up to Genesis so quickly. Genesis is now 100% my go to choice to watch my little fur baby!
I can’t recommend Genesis enough! She has such a natural love for animals and treats every pet like her own. Schedule
I currently work weekdays from 10am–6pm and Saturdays from 9am–2pm, with Wednesdays and Sundays completely off. I plan my pet care services around my work schedule, making time for morning and evening walks or drop-in visits during the week, as well as more flexible availability on my off days. Sundays and Wednesdays are perfect for longer visits, extra playtime, or multiple walks. I always make sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they deserve—no matter how busy the day! 🐾
