As a Pre-med student, my schedule can be busy at times, but I am very organized and always make sure to prioritize my commitments. I am flexible and willing to work around my clients' schedules to ensure that their pets receive the best care possible. I typically schedule my pet care visits during my breaks between classes or in the morning, evenings, and weekends. I understand that pets require consistent and reliable care, and I always make sure to communicate clearly with my clients about my availability and any potential scheduling conflicts. During pet care visits, I always make sure to provide regular water breaks and check for any accidents to ensure that the pet is comfortable and happy. I believe that attention to these small details is crucial for the overall health and well-being of the pets in my care.

When caring for pets in my own home or in a client's home, safety is always my top priority. I make sure to carefully follow any instructions provided by the pet owner, including feeding schedules, medication administration, and any specific care needs. In terms of the environment, I ensure that any potential hazards are removed or secured, such as toxic plants, sharp objects, or open windows. I also provide a comfortable and clean space for the pet to rest and play in, with access to fresh water and toys. When it comes to caring for the pet's emotional well-being, I make sure to give them plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise. I believe that playtime is essential for their social skills, stimulation, and development, and it can also help to tire them out for a more peaceful evening. Additionally, I always aim to build trust with the pet through positive reinforcement and affectionate care. Overall, my approach to pet care is centered around safety, trust, and providing a happy and healthy environment for the pet.

Please let me know if your fur baby has a favorite activity, treat, or toy so I can make sure that they have a fun visit or walk! If your pet likes ice cubes, please leave an ice tray in the freezer or let me know if there is ice available for those extra hot Texas days! If your pet knows tricks or if you are working on certain training, please let me know! I like to make sure they retain the memory of their training while you are away. Most importantly, please let me know if your fur baby has allergies to certain foods or if they like certain treats. In addition, during the summer and spring, I do limit outdoor time considerably depending on the age & breed of your pet. I do recommend to book a meet and greet to discuss summer & spring care for your pet.
A typical day
I love to include playtime in the visit to make sure they are mentally and physically active. I usually take longer paths or jog if your pup is a certified triathlon athlete. We usually take water breaks mid-way between an outdoor walk to make sure we are hydrated and ready for our workout. During the summer, I do limit outdoor time considerably depending on the breed and age of your pet.

Hello, my name is Aslin and I have extensive experience in pet care, having grown up around dogs, cats, fish, and turtles in Houston, TX. I began dog walking at the age of 10 and have enjoyed it ever since! I have cared for a wide range of dogs, from puppies to seniors, and from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I understand that every dog is unique and requires individualized attention. In addition, I have a deep love for dogs and their well-being, and I know that regular exercise is crucial for their health. I am currently a Pre-med student, which has taught me the importance of clear communication. I understand the significance of exercise in maintaining good health. Walking or running with dogs is an excellent way for both the pet and myself to get the exercise we need. I have a cat named Arjila, a betta fish named Berry, and a red-eared slider named Pasha that are all rescues that I love very deeply. I understand each pet has its unique personality and needs. Overall, my experience with pets, love for animals, and commitment to exercise and communication set me apart from other sitters. I would be thrilled to get to know your furry companion and ensure that they are happy, healthy, and content after their walk.
