Our dog is a very picky eater and refused to eat his kibble, so Christy thoughtfully offered him eggs, cheese, chicken jerky, and even some of the homemade food they prepared for their own dogs to ensure he was eating well. Our dog also enjoyed plenty of playtime. Their large backyard gave him lots of room to run around and burn off energy, and Christy even gave him ice to help him stay cool in the hot Houston weather. One thing we especially appreciated was Christy's excellent communication. She kept us updated throughout the stay and shared plenty of photos and videos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to see how happy and comfortable our dog was. We couldn't have asked for better care. If you're looking for someone who will treat your dog like a member of the family, I highly recommend Christy. About: I've had previous experience housing other dogs while their owners were away and didn't want to board them. I don't have any special training other than having my own dogs who are obedient for the last 12 and 6 years. I'm a stay at home mom, of soon to be two children. I have two dogs of my own, very playful and needy. Being able to stay at home allows my pets to be free to roam and play indoors and out. We have a fenced in yard, lots of running around space. We keep our dogs separate unless the visiting dog is comfortable around other dogs. We have upstairs and downstairs sleeping arrangements, from beds to fenced in play area.

I have a toy basket out so they can choose what toy they would like to play with. We do a lot of relaxing and snuggling. I usually have at least one or two of my animals that sleep with me every night!

So I knew I could not leave my dogs in fenced backyard while we rearranged furniture. At the very very last minute I thought oh I should hire a dog walker. N9t kidding I need someone under an hr . She respond immediately and was able to he flexible when I actually need my dogs out of the house. She very friendly took Tate and Daffy with no issues. One is a pup in large dog body and the other is all boxer. Which their owners love them for but others are not ready for their energy. About: I've loved and mothered as many animals as would let me for as long as I can remember. I've been the owner of multiple dogs and cats, always helping others with their pets as well. Always the caretaker & growing up around animals & vet techs, I've rescued baby kittens, puppies and birds anytime I found them. I would (with the help of adults) find fosters, professionals or forever homes depending on the need. Animals & nature are my core peace. Living with my grandmother over the years, she always had mutitudes of pets and wildlife and I loved to be involved. I've had one on one interactions throughout my life with a multitude of animals well beyond dogs and cats (such as apider monkeys, marsupials, elephants, baby baboons, ferrets and snakes) & have found I love them all! As pets I've had I've had cats, dogs, fish, mice, guinea pigs and even helped foster back to health an injured golden owl as a child. I'm a married 52 year old woman with a husband, 20 year old and 3 cats at home. (While surprisingly my husband is a 'cat' person, I love all pets!) I was recently became unemployed as well as being the managing/primary caretaker for my husband & his cancer battle of 7 years, missing much work for his medical appointments & transplants. I’m a stay at home mom so I have flexibility to take care of your pets whenever you may need! Availability everyday of the week. I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. When caring for pets in their home, I take the time to follow their normal routine, respect their space, and pay close attention to their behavior and individual needs. For walks, I prioritize safety by using secure leashes and being mindful of traffic, weather, other animals, and their surroundings. My experience as a veterinary technician has taught me how to recognize signs of stress, illness, or injury and respond appropriately if something unexpected happens. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: I simultaneously take care of my own blind senior dog and not so young puppy. I can make wet dog food from scratch and am very patient with all sorts of pets as well. I am willing to be there as early as 5 in the morning and last check in at 10 pm if necessary. I can make multiple check ins during the day and night. I am very flexible with my time. I can serve wet, dry, or mixed food along with any medications necessary. I am willing to take the pets on a short walk each visit and have a small play time with them.
About: I’ve taken care of family and neighbor dogs for a while. I’ve owned pets all my life and have worked at a professional facility for dog boarding and daycare for a while. I’m capable of working with large dogs, senior pets, and I can handle energetic fur babies as well. I can administer medication if needed, and can keep puppies and kittens entertained. I have plenty of time right now to care for pups, and will still have plenty of time when school starts. I’m very flexible and tend to be very easy to reach. I have my own fur baby, who’s a senior now. I keep her on a good schedule and make sure she gets plenty of walks. I am willing and able to take care of fur babies of all ages.

She is very attentive to the dogs and sent me a lovely write up on how each walk went with pictures which was great. She even spent some time with our puppy who didn't go on the walks. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I currently have a chihuahua, 2 poodle/shitzu, and a beagle mix. They all get along great. I’ve lived with them in a studio, townhome, 2 story house, and the list goes on. I understand needing to adjust to their needs. I am available Monday , Tuesday, Wednesday , Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Please reach out with any questions regarding availability! I will reply as soon as possible! I am very tentative when it comes to taking care of a dog. I have a fenced in yard, small dog proof, and all of my dogs are crate trained.

She went above and beyond to make sure our dog was comfortable and happy throughout his stay. Our dog is a very picky eater and refused to eat his kibble, so Christy thoughtfully offered him eggs, cheese, chicken jerky, and even some of the homemade food they prepared for their own dogs to ensure he was eating well. Our dog also enjoyed plenty of playtime. Their large backyard gave him lots of room to run around and burn off energy, and Christy even gave him ice to help him stay cool in the hot Houston weather. One thing we especially appreciated was Christy's excellent communication. She kept us updated throughout the stay and shared plenty of photos and videos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to see how happy and comfortable our dog was.
