“Went away on a 5 day vacation. Amanda was helpful with the booking & took great care of my kittens & not to mention is a vet who knows how to communicate and connect with them. I’m glad she lived close, will definitely be reconnecting in the future!”

About: Howdy! I’m Liz, proud pet owner and lover of all animals. I currently have a 10yo AmStaff/Pit mix, a 6yo chocolate Lab mix, and a 14yo calico cat. I’ve never NOT had pets around me growing up, from a 6lb toy poodle to 100lb+ mutts to cats of all temperaments. One of my greatest joys in life is giving my pets a lavish life, because they deserve it; i’d love to care for your baby in the same way. ❤️ I’m super flexible with the care of your pooch, anything you need, I can provide! I will always be 100% honest with you as your canine care provider. Give me the nitty gritty details, requests, needs, etc. and i’m more than happy to follow your lead. I work a non-standard schedule, so there is someone in the house (myself or my partner) Saturday through Tuesday and pets are only solo between 11am-5pm Wednesday through Friday. I’m happy to provide everything you and your pet(s) need. My priority is making sure you have peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your babies are loved, safe, and cared for. I stay in close communication with owners for the duration of services. I love to send pictures, text updates, let you know when I arrive/leave, and I ALWAYS triple check locks/gates/etc.
“Kimberly did an excellent job watching my pups. She was flexible with my schedule and was able to accommodate my last minute drop-in request. Kimberly provided excellent visit summaries and I felt comfortable relaxing knowing that I was returning to my dogs being well cared for. I highly recommend her and would like to hire her again in the future.”

“Kristin was Best sitter for our cat Sadie Mae she was always on time and great with the communication and pictures. We well be using her again and we can recommend her highly. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend Vickie! Vickie has been wonderful with our two Golden Retrievers! Before her first official visit, she came over just to meet our girls, which immediately put both them and us at ease. By the time she left that day, the pups were already in love with her. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine love for animals really shine through. We came home to two happy, relaxed girls and couldn't be more pleased. We've already planned to book her again — look no further for a dog sitter you can truly trust!”

“Madyson was so great checking in on my pup while I was out of town on business and my husband was at work. She was prompt and always took photos and let me know how Finley did. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone!”

“Kylie made herself available for a last minute request and took care of everything I asked her to do. She was communicative and kept me informed during her drop in unprompted. I would definitely use her again in the future”

“Kendyll was absolutely wonderful. She was very accommodating and took great care of Lilly during an extended work trip. She even brought in a large box of dog food that got delivered earlier than expected. I would absolutely recommend Kendyll and will definitely request her again!”

About: I have grown up with 2 of my own dogs so I understand the deep love we all have for our pets and how much apart of our family they are. I understand how to take care of dogs and the attention they require. I have pet sat for many friends with dogs of all breeds and sizes so I am very comfortable around big and small dogs. I also have much experience with senior pups. I understand that they need a little extra love and attention which I am more than happy to give. I can give walks and give baths and play with them when they need to get the zoomies out! Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I am a full time in person student but I am able to plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special needs a pet may have, such as medications or extra supervision. The typical morning and evening visits are automatically fit into my schedule and middle of day visits can be arranged if your pet needs it. In my client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions carefully, including administering medications or providing senior care if needed. I also keep the environment clean and safe, and monitor pets for any changes in behavior or health. Any gates or doors will remain closed and locked to ensure your home and pets safety. I also send daily pup reports so that my clients can see their pets and be informed of any updates.

“Danielle was amazing! She was very communicative and very sweet with Ivy. My dog is blind and crazy, and she took great care of her! I would highly recommend her and will be asking her to take care of Ivy in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of mine and my family’s pets since I was 14 years old. I’ve had multiple pets myself. I have reptiles as well! I do work at a frozen daiquiri company as a manager. I rarely ever go in to the actual stores. I make sure they all have everything they need to run. I just need a little something on the side I do know how to somewhat train, I personally trained both of my dogs since they were puppies. If any accidents happen inside they will be promptly cleaned and sanitized.

About: I am well rounded on all life stages and energy levels. I have been working with animals for about 10 years, starting in a daycare as a kennel tech then as a dog handler, moved over to the medical side of animal care as a veterinary assistant for 2 years before becoming a veterinary technician and a surgical nurse, then moved into emergency room settings. So if you have an elderly pet or a pet with high medical needs, booking with me will give peace of mind that your loved one is being properly taken care of. I am currently part time employed, going to nursing school online full time. I am also new to the area. My schedule is very flexible. Aside from being well trained on dogs/cats body language, my main goal is always to gain the pets trust with the understanding that I am in their home. When it comes to pets with more medical needs, making sure that the medication is timely and properly administered plus properly stored.

About: I have taken care of dogs for at least 22 years as my pets. I have had a Yorkie, Sharpei, and now a Boxer. I have taken care of puppies and senior dogs. Hands down, dogs are better than humans. I am the resident dog sitter for my fiends and my friends love to watch my dog because she is so well mannered and trained. I look forward to helping you with your loved pup. I am currently not working so I am home the majority of the time. I leave to run errands and my Mother lives with me as well. I have a fenced in yard and water is always available indoors and outdoors. There is nothing in the home that can harm our pets because I keep the house free of clutter. When they play with toys or have treats (if permitted), I keep my eyes on them to make sure there are no mishaps.
“Outstanding sitter for my fur babies! Cassandra went the extra mile to make sure our pets were happy and well cared for! She also anticipated our needs and made me feel at ease. She is very knowledgeable and reliable. Would definitely highly recommend!”

“Francesca takes great care of Ollie! She makes sure he gets the attention he wants while I’m at work, and it’s a treat seeing her updates about what they got up to each day!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
