I truly cannot thank Amy and her family enough for taking such amazing care of Galvy for the two weeks I was in Europe. I am so incredibly happy to have found them through Rover. Galvy is a very shy and timid dog at first, but once he trusts someone, he is incredibly loyal and loving. Amy and her family completely understood that from the beginning. They were so patient with him and gave him the time and space he needed to warm up on his own. It was so sweet to see how much Galvy ended up loving their whole family. Being so far away for two weeks, I was naturally nervous about leaving him, but Amy sent me so many photos and updates throughout each day that I always knew my boy was happy, comfortable, and being loved. What meant the most to me was how specific her updates were to Galvy and all the little things about his personality. It made me so happy knowing they noticed and loved the same little quirks about him that I do. They didn’t just watch Galvy, they truly gave him a home while I was away and treated him like part of their family. There is no better feeling than knowing your dog is somewhere he feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely loved. Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Stagecoach home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Stagecoach.

You and your Stagecoach sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
