About: When I was 12 I moved into a neighborhood others used as a dumping ground, and I’ve seen cats as animals that need my help and protection ever since. I spent a year convincing my parents to take in two of the cats from the colony I’d been sneaking food to, another year caring for and feeding all my cats (indoor and outdoor), and even a week sitting outside an abandoned home trying to catch a fresh litter of kittens so I could take them to the vet and find them homes. One of the kittens I ended up being able to keep, and he became my best friend of all time. I fed him, litter trained, and played with him in a way that taught him right from wrong, and then did it twice more throughout the years with his brother and with his sister I got after he passed. I know cats come in all different shapes, sizes, and personalities, but I promise I’ll love them all the same!

About: My beloved shih tzu passed recently after long and adventurous 14 years. I've had him since he was 8 weeks old, so I’m very well familiar with puppy stage as well as senior years. I was very attached to my doggie and know a lot about small breed needs and temperament. I’m also available to care for medium size dogs on case by case basis. After our family dog had puppies and refused to nurse, I spent countless days and nights bottle feeding her litter until I proved to my parents I could keep one for myself.
