“Briana was great with both my fur babies! She treated them as if they were her own and was very informative everyday on how babies were doing! Briana had a great yard for them to run in and took them walking and to the dog park. Great experience and would definitely recommend briana to anyone and would take my fur babies back. :)”

“I’m so thankful to have peace of mind while traveling. Cathy was warm, professional and friendly. My dog seems to have had a great time playing with the other dogs. We will definitely use her again next time that we’re away.”

“Geraldine and Miriam took wonderful care of our little dog, we so appreciate their care, and are relieved to have someone on deck with whom we feel super comfortable to leave her in the future. ❤️”

“Leah is awesome and she sends daily detailed updates accompanied by cute photos of what my pups were up to. Leah took them out on active adventures every day and I wasn’t worried at all about my babies not getting enough activity. She’s great at communicating and worked with us when our travel plans changed a bit. My two babies had a ton of fun staying with her and returned home happy and tired. I would definitely book with Leah again!”

“Jeri was so sweet and kind to Buffy and I, gave me updates every single day and kept complementing how well Buffy was behaved which made me feel at ease. She made sure Buffy enjoyed her stayed and I could tell how comfortable Buffy was with Jeri. Thank you so much Jeri! :)”
“I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Jillian I ended up booking with her somewhat last minute when my regular sitter had a family emergency, and even though she was farther away than I would normally look, I am so glad I found her. From the moment I dropped Ace off, I felt like he was in great hands. She was incredibly communicative, sending pictures and videos every day and keeping me updated on how he was doing. It wasn’t just the updates themselves it was clear from everything she shared that she genuinely cared about him and was paying attention to his needs. I’ve used other sitters before, and if I’m being honest, this is the most comfortable I’ve ever felt while being out of town and away from my puppy. Knowing Ace was safe, happy, and well cared for gave me real peace of mind. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and kind to care for their dog.”

“If I could give Myriam more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. We left our Shiba Inu, Roxy, with Myriam and her family while we traveled, and we came home to a completely different dog - in the best way possible. Roxy is happier, calmer, better behaved, and it’s clear she was loved and cared for like she was part of the family. Before finding Myriam, we had been looking into professional dog training, but the cost was simply out of our budget. We never imagined we’d find someone who could provide such incredible care while also reinforcing good behavior and structure. It truly feels like we got so much more than dog sitting. From the moment we picked Roxy up, we could tell how much time, patience, and love had been poured into her. She’s listening better, has better manners, and came home relaxed and confident. As dog parents, there’s no greater feeling than knowing your baby was not only safe but genuinely loved while you were away. We are beyond grateful to have found Myriam and her wonderful family. They treated Roxy as if she were their own, and that kind of care is priceless. We will absolutely be using Myriam again in the future and recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their furry family member. Thank you, Myriam, for taking such amazing care of our girl. You exceeded every expectation, and we couldn’t be happier!”

“We absolutely recommend this sitter. We were gone for 30 days and they made sure to text us everyday with pictures of Daisy and fun things she was doing. Although we weren’t with her they made us feel that she was safe and well taken care of.”

“Norma did great again with taking care of my Penny Girl. Very patient with her needs and I feel comforted knowing my pup is taken well care of. She sends multiple pictures and videos which are much appreciated!”

“Thank you, Tiffany and family, for taking such great care of Pedro! Such a loving family and he seemed very comfortable. Grateful for the updates and pics :)”

“Very outstanding communication, I received updates photos and videos everyday it helped a lot not being stressed or worrying if Moose was taken care of. Definitely will rebook when going on other trips. Jessica has truly made our first Rover experience very delightful.”

My dog had such a great time at Julianne’s house! She took such wonderful care of her and kept me updated every day with pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that my dog was happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. We will definitely book with Julianne again! Highly recommend her! 🐶❤️

We had our first stay with Miss Brianne and had an amazing experience. We had just had a bad experience so we can already tell we were in better hands. Very knowledgeable. I also love that I didn’t need to bring her own crate because she provided one. We would gladly trust our Luna back in Miss Brianne’s hands.

Leah was fantastic! Ive had bad experiences in the past and am VERY reluctant to leave Zoey with anyone at this point, but Leah gave me comfort from the first time i reached out throughout the whole period she was watching Zoey. She was also extremely flexible in my probably unconventional requests and so accommodating that Zoey basically thought she was in her nee home. Thank you so much, Leah! Would bring her back again any time ☺️

Zachary and Megan took such amazing care of our dogs over the holiday weekend! They constantly sent us photos and videos of updates, and even dressed them up for the Fourth of July! They also updated us with how they were doing, so we felt comfortable knowing they were safe and happy. They were incredibly responsive throughout the boarding. I could tell they truly treated our babies like part of their own family. Bruno and Bella had such a great time. We would book again!

We had a wonderful boarding experience with Maria! She took excellent care of our corgi while we were away, and we felt completely at ease knowing he was in good hands. We loved that she has a doggy door, which gave the dogs easy access to the yard throughout the day. Our corgi also had a great time playing and socializing with the other friendly dogs in her home. Maria was kind, communicative, and clearly loves caring for dogs. We received updates during the stay, and it was obvious our corgi was happy and comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Maria again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable Rover dog boarding host!

Britteney was amazing. She took care of my dogs like if it was hers I can tell they were doing good because of the pictures she would send me all the time. I love the fact that she kept me posted on a daily basis. I would definitely recommend her and definitely use her service again.

Gert was incredibly kind, understanding, and patient with my pup. My dog can be quite anxious, but he ended up absolutely loving him and his family. I traveled abroad and felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in such good hands. They truly went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and cared for. I’ll definitely be booking with them again in the near future! (:

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
