“We had a wonderful experience leaving our mischievous duo with Abigail. She sent regular updates and the sweetest photos throughout our trip, which made it so much easier to relax while we were away. We especially loved that she gave them plenty of time in the backyard to run around and play—they clearly got some great zoomies and extra attention, which they adored. Abigail was reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring. We already have more trips planned and would book her again in a heartbeat for Mack and Siena. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, fun cat sitter!”

About: Hi, I’m Daniël, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life! I grew up in a home filled with love—and six dogs!—and spent countless weekends on my family’s farm, surrounded by a pack of 12 happy pups. My sister, who has been pet sitting for years, inspired me to create this account. She’s received so many requests from amazing pet parents that she needed a helping hand, and I was more than happy to step in! Like her, I treat every pet as family, giving them the freedom to roam, plenty of snuggles, and the attention of an animal-loving household. I have had many dogs over the years and none of their lives were short lived. I attribute this to the fact that I showed my dogs the love and care they deserved and you can be sure that I will do the same for yours. I know how important it is to leave your pet in a safe, loving environment, and I’m excited to offer that for you. If your pup has any allergies or a sensitive stomach, just let me know—I'm willing to take care of whatever needs they may have. I have plenty of treats on hand want to make sure they’re safe and happy. I’d love to meet your furry companion and make them feel right at home! Feel free to message me with any questions. I look forward to welcoming your furry friend! I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pup! I work from 4 PM to 12 AM, but outside of those hours, I am fully available to provide love, attention, and care for your furry friend. Mornings and afternoons are completely open for walks, playtime, and cuddles, ensuring your pet gets the exercise and companionship they need. Even during my work hours, I make sure pets are comfortable and settled before I leave, and they are never left alone for extended periods. My sister is also a pet sitter with loads of experience and will be at home to make sure your pup is always under supervision. If your dog needs a structured routine, I’m happy to accommodate their specific needs to keep them happy and stress-free. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority, and I’m committed to making them feel at home while they’re in my care! I provide a secure, loving space for your pet, whether in my home or yours. In My Home: I have a fully fenced yard for safe play, dog crates for those who need their own space, and gates to separate dogs if needed. Your pup will also have the company of my two friendly dogs, who love making new friends! Pets are free to roam and are given plenty of love, playtime, and attention. In Your Home: I follow your pet’s routine to keep them comfortable, providing walks, playtime, and scheduled meals. I ensure they feel safe, happy, and well-cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority. Let me know any special instructions—I’m happy to accommodate their needs!

Aubrey was absolutely wonderful with our entire fur family! It’s not easy finding someone who can handle both dogs and a cat so well, but she managed it effortlessly. Our dogs got plenty of love and attention, and even our cat felt completely comfortable. We loved the regular photo updates and came home to incredibly happy, relaxed pets. Aubrey is professional, reliable, and truly does a wonderful job.. We highly recommend her and will definitely book again! The Randall Family

Katelyn was absolutely amazing!! We really appreciated the detailed updates and photos of our two puppies! I didn’t expect her to do as much as she did on each visit but it was truly appreciated! This was a really last minute request and Katelyn saved the day! Cannot thank you enough

Lowri is so accommodating to my precious fur babies. She was so communicative and appreciative of having the opportunity to watch my frenchies. She sent pictures and even tidied up around the house. I have used her multiple times now and there’s a reason that I keep requesting to have her back

It is such a relief finding someone to take care of my 3 babies while away! Dennis does an amazing job taking care of them and I don’t need to be constantly worried if they are in good hands. He is always getting the best pictures of them and communicates when there are any issues!

5 stars are not enough to rate Alexis. We have hired her several times to care for our dear bassett and she always goes above and beyond - she is knowledgeable, trustworthy and most importantly, she connects deeply with dogs. We come home to a happy dog, a vacuumed home, notes and even thoughtful touches. Goose loves her like family, and so do we.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
