During our trip, Hurricane Beryl hit, causing power outages, flooding, and downed trees across the city. Despite these challenges, Mariah made all our scheduled appointments to check on Kona. With our power out for over four days, she went above and beyond by sending us pictures of any damage, cleaning up our leaking fridge, and providing extra support for our dog.
