About: I am a highly dedicated, experienced and reliable in taking care of pets. Their safety and comfort is my number one priority, so you don't have to worry when you are away from your pet. I used to have a dog and a cat in my hometown for years when I was growing up. I was also professionally dog walking for four years, so I am familiar with different breeds, their habits and the right approach to each one. I am positive I will find the way to their hearts. I always welcome dogs in my house, taking care of our friend's and family's pets, and all of them were leaving my place being super happy and wiggling their tail. I treat my little guests as a family, showing my best hospitality! They will be happy and loved!

I plan my schedule around visits and really look forward to that time. It’s a great balance with my work and something I truly enjoy. When pets stay at my home, they get plenty of space to explore and a calm, relaxed environment. We live on a ranch-like property with 7 cleared acres—partially fenced—and there’s always something for curious dogs to sniff and see. There are two friendly dogs here who love having visitors, and we also have horses on the property, which some pets find fascinating (from a safe distance, of course!). I always do a slow, supervised introduction to make sure everyone gets along and feels comfortable. Inside, pets have a cozy place to rest and plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether your dog loves running around or just lounging in the sun, they’ll have a peaceful stay here with me.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. As a child we always had dogs and as an adult I have always owned a dog. I pet sit friend's and family's dogs. I have always been successful with house training and training dogs to stay off of furniture etc. Living with and loving dogs, I find, is the best kind of therapy. They offer and deserve unconditional love. For me, dogs are family members!🐕🦺🦮🐕🐶❣ I do not work and I live alone so my schedule is completely up to me. I am very flexible and accommodating. I will work with your needs. I am mature so I know the importance of taking on the responsibility of your home as well as your fur babies. I am very clean too. You will find your home as clean or cleaner than you left it. I can also water plants and retrieve mail. Let me ease your worries while you are away from home. I do not work so my day is very flexible, your pup's schedule will become my schedule! I am free to follow whatever routine you have in place for your dog. I will care for your pets in your home exactly as you do. I request a list of routines and special instructions to make it easier on us both.

Maria is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! I have never used a sitter before, so I was super nervous to leave my kitties with someone. It was a huge help that she accepted my same-day booking. She sent several updates throughout her drop ins, including both photos and videos. Maria even picked up/put away their toys and vacuumed my floors from the litter that got tracked. With her taking care of them, I wasn’t worried about my babies one bit!

Alyssa has been great with my cats. I have to go out of town pretty frequently, and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands while I’m gone. She always makes sure they’re well cared for — giving them treats, cleaning their litter boxes, and spending time petting and playing with them. I also appreciate how she sends a bunch of pictures following the visits. It’s obvious she genuinely cares about animals. She’s even gotten my overly suspicious cat to warm up to here. I never have to worry when Alyssa is watching them. Highly recommend!

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
