About: I've dabbled in walking dogs before, I've cared for many dogs in my life time. In highschool I cared for all kinds of live stock. I have my own mini dachshund at home who I love! I am a stay at home mom and I homeschool 4 daughters. We go on walks multiple times a day to walk the dog and also find reprieve from homeschool. I have a fenced in yard, a large crate if needed and a home the dogs are welcome. I have a car so we have access to emergency care if that were ever needed. We have a park near by and lovely walkable streets.
About: I have had dogs my entire life. As a child we always had dogs and as an adult I have always owned a dog. I pet sit friend's and family's dogs. I have always been successful with house training and training dogs to stay off of furniture etc. Living with and loving dogs, I find, is the best kind of therapy. They offer and deserve unconditional love. For me, dogs are family members!🐕🦺🦮🐕🐶❣ I do not work and I live alone so my schedule is completely up to me. I am very flexible and accommodating. I will work with your needs. I am mature so I know the importance of taking on the responsibility of your home as well as your fur babies. I am very clean too. You will find your home as clean or cleaner than you left it. I can also water plants and retrieve mail. Let me ease your worries while you are away from home. I do not work so my day is very flexible, your pup's schedule will become my schedule! I am free to follow whatever routine you have in place for your dog. I will care for your pets in your home exactly as you do. I request a list of routines and special instructions to make it easier on us both.

Maria is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! I have never used a sitter before, so I was super nervous to leave my kitties with someone. It was a huge help that she accepted my same-day booking. Alyssa has been great with my cats. I have to go out of town pretty frequently, and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands while I’m gone. She always makes sure they’re well cared for — giving them treats, cleaning their litter boxes, and spending time petting and playing with them. I also appreciate how she sends a bunch of pictures following the visits. It’s obvious she genuinely cares about animals. She’s even gotten my overly suspicious cat to warm up to here. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
