Rose was fantastic from the start. She was communicative, sweet to my dog Emmy, and clearly experienced. She kept me updated during the walk and provided a thorough report afterward. It's evident Rose loves her job, and Emmy loves spending time with her. Highly recommend and will definitely use her services again!

Molly is very communicative and always sends me pictures and updates of Henry on his walks. She goes the extra mile to make sure he has enough food, water, treats/ toys and anything else to be comfortable. Henry warmed up to her really quickly and we're lucky to have her help!

About: I’ve grown up with three German Shorthaired pointers! One of them is now 12 years old and needs a little more attention, but he’s still as healthy as can be and the sweetest pup ever! I work another part time job, however will devote all of my time outside of that to caring for any and every pet in my custody. I always feed my dogs on time and refill their water bowl after every use because those can get dirty fast! Lots of pets and plenty of attention for every dog in my care! Also super willing to stay outside with any dog for as long as they want to ensure they’re safe and sound as they roam and do their thing!

About: I grew up with dogs at home and have done dog sitting previously. I’m patient, attentive and caring. I will treat your dogs like my own! I’m transitioning jobs at the moment and have a lot of free time to take care of pets. I like to go on walks so I can bring them with me if that works for them as well. I have a spacious yard for dogs to play around and I have space for a crate inside the house if needed. I currently have no pets myself.

About: I've been a pet sitter for many years. Animals are a way of life for me, and I provide dependable and compassionate care for your home and animals. I own my own photography business so I'll have time to give your pets the care they deserve. Theyll receive care, pets, walks, and attention. I believe pets feel most secure in their own environment and with their own routines. I adapt to them. It's their home, not mine!

About: I got my first pet when I was 14, I had adopted him from a humane society when he was 3 years old! In the time I had him I had to learn what unconditional love was, what patience really means, and what responsibility is. He was an amazing dog and I learned so much from the time I was able to care for him. For four years I got to learn what taking care of a dog entailed and was always taking the opportunity to learn what I could always do better. I had to rehome my best bud in September of 2022, but I will forever hold that unconditional love and time I got to spend with him in my heart. I currently have 2 animals as of 2025! One is a handsome pitbull mix named Max and the other is my handsome cat named Ozzy. They are my pride and joy! I’ve learned so much since moving to Texas and adopting both from a Humane Shelter in Houston. I work full time at a hospital in the Woodlands area so 4/7 days of the week I am typically free! On days I do have blocked off on my schedule I can be available for a drop in or walk after 7pm! I am always on the lookout for potential dangers or surroundings, safety is the utmost important to me with animals and people. Stay safe always

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 13, so pet care has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I also have my own dog, which means I understand firsthand what it takes to keep a pet happy, comfortable, and safe — from daily walks and playtime to just knowing when something feels off. I genuinely love animals, and that shows in the patience and attention I bring to every dog I care for. I work part-time from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility- I can generally take walks and drop-ins, any day of the week. Since my schedule isn’t rigid, I’m happy to work around your dog’s routine instead of squeezing them into mine, whether that’s a midday potty break, or an afternoon walk. I have my own dog at home and a fully fenced yard, so your pup will have a safe space to run around and a friendly buddy to keep them company. I’m comfortable crating dogs if that’s part of their normal routine, and I keep boarding calm and secure- no loose pets wandering around, and a quiet space for your dog to settle in and relax.

About: I have been watching over all sorts of fur babies for 10 years, even starting a small independent business in my hometown! I have experience with puppies and senior dogs. I am also able to administer medication as needed. Cant wait to help! I work from home and rarely have to go out into the field. When I do, it's for 3-4 hours at most! I have two cats at home who are fine if I need to do an overnight stay. I have two cats, so I prefer to take care of animals outside of my home! Luckily, because I work from home, I am available to look after your fur baby anytime of day.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
