“Azharia has been walking my dog for the past few weeks and it is going exceptionally well. She is is a very caring animal lover with a great understanding of how to work with shy dogs. She is always punctual and communicates throughout each walk. Also she is very responsive and respectful of any special requests or instructions I may have. I will continue to work with her for sure. Highly recommend.”

“We needed a dog walker last minute and Ryan was exceedingly accommodating of this! He came to meet us on short notice and was very flexible with our walking schedule. He sent photo and video updates of Murphy during their walks and even had his pup come play with Murphy to get out his extra energy!! We will 100% be using Ryan in the future!!”

About: Hi there, here are the things you would like about me as a caregiver for your pet. First, I have been surrounded by animals for the entirety of my life from turtles to dogs. I was always the child that had to take care of every animal I saw, which meant there was never a moment we did not have an animal of some sort in our home. This being said it should be obvious that I have a very warm place in my heart for animals and my most beloved of them all has and always will be dogs. The second one is I have a tiny bit of veterinarian science knowledge. Not enough to be a vet or even an assistant, some were learned from studying in school most, however, was from real life experience. I have delivered countless litters of puppies, kittens, and in doing so saved either the babies lives or their mothers from problematic labor. I saved a dog from drowning, and I am quick to respond in any situation. I don't see dogs as animals but people as well and very much count my two babies as family. I like to do things on a schedule to ensure that my dogs are fed, when caring for your pet I would do the same. I have no problems with following strict regimens because I myself have one for mine and my own. I feel it prevents forgetfulness and ensures the happiness and health of pets.love to walk which means walking multiple times a day with your fur baby wouldn't bother me in the least bit. I promise that you will be leaving your dog in good care and they will return to you with happy wagging tails.
“Emily is great! I have her walk my dog everyday while I’m at work and she always sends pictures. She’s very flexible with the schedule and I plan on continuing having her walk and play with my dog!”

About: **As of right now, I unfortunately cannot do overnight stays. I can do multiple, extended, early-morning and late-night drop ins. (Up to 5 Drop ins a day)** I thoroughly enjoy animals. In most cases, they are better than people. I have many years of experience with animals. I've owned dogs and cats my whole life. As well as a guinea pig, hamsters, birds and a tortoise. I currently have 4 dogs whose ages vary from 11 years old to 10 months. Each dog has been trained by me, including potty training. My daughter is currently living with me and expecting a baby in June, so I may not be available for a few weeks in June. Please message me if my calendar is blocked off. If you are close and no overnight visits are needed, I may still be able to help! I am a full-time student and currently work part time. My schedule is open for helping you out with all of your pet sitting and walking needs. I try to keep to the routine for the animal as much as possible. Most animals are more comfortable in their own homes, which is why I prefer coming to you.
About: I’ve had a good amount of pet care experience starting with Duke, our family dog back home in Vegas with my mom. Beemer is my own dog, so I’m used to taking care of him day-to-day, and then there’s Tofu, my cousin Jada’s dog, who’s basically like a roommate at this point. Between the three of them I’ve gotten used to feeding, walks, playtime, and just making sure they’re comfortable. I’ve also been around and helped out with other new dogs here and there, and I usually get along with them pretty well. Morning (before 2pm) → Long walks, feeding, playtime, grooming, or check-ins with clients. Afternoon (2–6pm) → I’m at the YMCA, so I schedule around this. Dogs usually nap or relax mid-day anyway, so I won’t miss their peak energy time. Evening (after 6pm) → Perfect for another walk, feeding, and some hangout/playtime before settling them in for the night. i am very respectful of others’ home rules & regulations. can adapt to the given situation as long as i feel comfortable and safe. i work alone and do not bring my dog beemer unless the client is okay with it.
“Our dog adores Sara! He is attached to her more than I've seen him respond to anyone. She's always prompt and communicative, friendly, and gracious. We have her booked every weekend indefinitely.”
“Since moving to the area we were really busy with moving and settling our children in that we had been neglecting our 2 pups. We found Mark and our pups are much happier to go on walks around the neighborhood. Mark is always on time and is very communicative regarding when he arrives as well as checking in on the next walk. He asks all the right questions to get to know our pups so that they are understood and comfortable. Would recommend Mark to anyone and we are already looking into having them boarded for an upcoming trip.”

About: Hi! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and started professionally pet sitting and working as a vet tech in my 20s. Now, I work from home and care for dogs full-time—including my recently rescued 6-year-old Frenchie, who keeps me on my toes! I’ve fostered dozens of dogs through Rescued Pets Movement, helping save pups from kill shelters. I’m what you’d call a “helicopter dog mom”—super cautious, very tuned in, and always making sure my dogs are happy, healthy, and safe. Frenchies are a delicate breed, so I’m very familiar with medical needs, special diets, and the importance of regular vet care. Whether your dog loves to chill on the couch, go for runs, visit dog parks, or hang out by the lake, I can adapt to their lifestyle and routine. With no kids or spouse, dogs truly are my world—and I’ll treat yours like family! Im a fully remote worker, so I'm home throughout the day to provide plenty of attention and care. When boarding dogs, I’m rarely away for more than four hours at a time. I also have a dog of my own, so your pup will have both companionship and supervision. When caring for pets, my top priority is their safety, comfort, and happiness—whether they’re staying in my home or I’m visiting theirs. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special care instructions. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection to help reduce stress while their owner is away. In my home: I provide a clean, secure, and pet-friendly environment where dogs can relax and feel at home. I offer daily walks, structured playtime, and quiet rest periods. I never leave pets unattended for long periods and always ensure fresh water, clean bedding, and a safe, stimulating environment. In the client's home: I respect the client’s space and stick to their pet care instructions precisely. I maintain the pet’s normal routine, including walks, feeding, medications, and any special needs. I also provide regular updates and photos, so owners have peace of mind while they’re away. I treat every pet like my own—with love, patience, and personalized
About: As someone who has owned doggies my whole life, I find that when you’re needing to find someone last minute or have important trips coming up it can be hard to find someone safe, reliable and of course loving! Thats where I would love to be able to step in and help you!! I have experience in senior dog care, as well as medication administration if needed. If you would like more information, let’s schedule a “get to know me” consultation!! :) I am a college student finishing out getting my CMA certification, and I go often to the gym. I am not available most Saturdays due to my labs I am taking currently as of June 2026, BUT I would love to be able to help any other day of the week! I am a person who’s mom always said growing “keep things better than what they where before” and I truly believe that statement to be true! When it comes to keeping your home safe, clean, and secure for your babies, that is something I will always abide by. I will always clean up after myself, watering plants any plants, fill any pools, and go out of my way to make sure when you return home it is as if nothing had been touched. I do this to maintain a safe, clean, and happy environment for not only your peace of mind but for your sweet babies as well.

About: As a former childcare provider, I am responsible and reliable when it comes to providing the best care with quality and professional service for your pets. I have experience with caring for dogs of all sizes and ages including pets with specific needs. I am active and enjoy outdoor activities just as much as quiet time indoors. I am available for long or short walks early morning or late afternoon. My schedule is flexible with proper notice in advance. I am available for daily or extended care options. I prefer to care for your pets in the home / environment they are accustomed. I enjoy routine and schedules so I can easily adapt to make them comfortable while you’re away.
“Shanna is a natural. She exudes a sense of peace, positivity and confidence that immediately set our Luna at ease. We are so grateful to have met her and recommend her highly! We will definitely hire her again to walk Luna. Thank you, Shanna!”
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. Once I moved out on my own, I got two cats, so I also have a lot of hands-on experience with cats and understand their personalities (and moods lol). I’ve been helping take care of family and friends’ pets since I was about 16, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, or just keeping them company while their owners are away. I’m really good at picking up on each animal’s personality—whether they’re super energetic, shy, or just want to chill and nap all day. I’m also comfortable taking care of other pets like fish, turtles, and similar animals. Overall, I just really enjoy being around animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re gone. I’m available most days, including some weekends! I’m an online student, so I have a pretty flexible schedule and can adjust my hours to fit what your pet needs. I offer drop-in visits and walks, and I always try to keep your pet’s routine the same so they feel comfortable. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, and anything else they need. I do all care in your home since I have two cats of my own!
About: Hi there! I’ve been around animals my entire life — I grew up in a home with multiple dogs, cats, goats, and more. My love for animals naturally led me to volunteer at shelters and sanctuaries, and before long, friends were regularly asking me to pet sit. That’s what inspired me to offer my services on Rover. From 2023 to 2025, I had 4–5 regular families I consistently sat for. I also helped train my parents’ dog, Ella, during her first six months — all while working remotely. I recently relocated to Conroe, TX in May 2025 and completed month-long sitting stays in June (Texas), August (London), and September (Washington). Starting October 2025, I’ll be settling back down in Conroe and opening up my calendar to help care for your pets — whether it’s for a quick drop-in, daily walks, or extended stays. I treat every animal like they’re my own, and I’d love to be a part of your pet’s routine! I work remotely in the finance industry, which gives me a flexible schedule during the week. I’m able to step away throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, feeding, and playtime — and I already take myself on a few walks a day, so bringing a furry companion along is always welcome! I typically offer house and pet sitting at your home, as that’s where most pets are most comfortable. I may be available for boarding in special cases or local walks if you're nearby in the neighborhood. I take pet safety and comfort seriously — whether I’m staying in your home or caring for your pet in mine. I work fully remote, so I’m present throughout the day and can easily block off time for walks, potty breaks, meals, and quality playtime. Your pet will never be left alone for long periods, and I’ll always stick to the routines they’re used to. I only care for one household at a time to give your pet my full attention and to avoid mixing unfamiliar animals. My goal is to create a calm, safe environment where your dog or cat feels secure, cared for, and stress-free while you’re away.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
