Sirrine is a very caring, lovely person and she took excellent care of our Hank. She even left ‘pawgress’ reports at the house for us to review when we got home. We’ll be using her again :)

Alexa has been a huge help in our busy schedule. My boy Loki enjoyed her company from the time we first had our meet up. She’s great on being on time and works with you. Oooh and our feral cat enjoys popping up for a quick hello which is huge for her to do that. Highly recommend Alexa! Will continue to book her 🐾

About: I've walked and taken care of dogs and cats since I was fifteen years old. I also have experience taking care of pups that are older as well! I’m available daily for pet care and dog walks! I have not begun working part time yet so I have lots of time as of right now. If I have any conflicts with my schedule, communication is my number one priority! I care for pets in my client’s home by making sure that they feel loved and cared for while their owners are away, and I make sure that they are safe, well-fed, and healthy. I also always double check any rules or notices that my client strongly prefers me to know and follow as well.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. Once I moved out on my own, I got two cats, so I also have a lot of hands-on experience with cats and understand their personalities (and moods lol). I’ve been helping take care of family and friends’ pets since I was about 16, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, or just keeping them company while their owners are away. I’m really good at picking up on each animal’s personality—whether they’re super energetic, shy, or just want to chill and nap all day. I’m also comfortable taking care of other pets like fish, turtles, and similar animals. Overall, I just really enjoy being around animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re gone. I’m available most days, including some weekends! I’m an online student, so I have a pretty flexible schedule and can adjust my hours to fit what your pet needs. I offer drop-in visits and walks, and I always try to keep your pet’s routine the same so they feel comfortable. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, and anything else they need. I do all care in your home since I have two cats of my own!

About: Hi there, here are the things you would like about me as a caregiver for your pet. First, I have been surrounded by animals for the entirety of my life from turtles to dogs. I was always the child that had to take care of every animal I saw, which meant there was never a moment we did not have an animal of some sort in our home. This being said it should be obvious that I have a very warm place in my heart for animals and my most beloved of them all has and always will be dogs. The second one is I have a tiny bit of veterinarian science knowledge. Not enough to be a vet or even an assistant, some were learned from studying in school most, however, was from real life experience. I have delivered countless litters of puppies, kittens, and in doing so saved either the babies lives or their mothers from problematic labor. I saved a dog from drowning, and I am quick to respond in any situation. I don't see dogs as animals but people as well and very much count my two babies as family. I like to do things on a schedule to ensure that my dogs are fed, when caring for your pet I would do the same. I have no problems with following strict regimens because I myself have one for mine and my own. I feel it prevents forgetfulness and ensures the happiness and health of pets.love to walk which means walking multiple times a day with your fur baby wouldn't bother me in the least bit. I promise that you will be leaving your dog in good care and they will return to you with happy wagging tails.

About: I've always had a pet, even when I was little. My mom says she knew she was in trouble because my favorite place to go was the pet store. I love all animals, yes even the non cuddly ones too, like snakes. They make shirts that say "I just came here to pet your dog" and I believe that shirt was made for me. I love all breeds, but the bullies hold a special place in my heart. I am the one that my friends and family call when they go out of town to dog sit and figured why not expand upon it, meet new people and pet more fur babies! If I ever won the lottery I would buy lots of land and would build an animal sanctuary.

About: Hi! I’m a reliable and loving pet caregiver with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and cats as well. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your animals are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m comfortable with different energy levels and personalities, from playful young pets to more relaxed companions. Whether your pet needs exercise, patience, or just some extra love, I treat every animal like they’re part of my own family. I also provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine since I already care for my own animals every day, including my dog and cats. I’m used to maintaining consistent feeding schedules, cleaning, playtime, and giving each pet the attention they need. Because of this, adding in additional pet care feels like a natural extension of what I already do. I structure my days to be flexible, allowing me to accommodate drop-ins, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. I’m reliable with timing and routines, and I make it a priority to ensure each pet feels comfortable, cared for, and not rushed. Whether it’s part of my morning, midday, or evening routine, I genuinely enjoy making time for animals and giving them the care and attention they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take time to learn their routine and needs to keep things consistent and stress-free. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and supervised environment with safe spaces for each pet. In your home, I follow all instructions closely to maintain your pet’s normal routine. I’m attentive to behavior, use safe handling practices, and provide updates so you always feel confident your pet is in good hands.

About: I personally have 3 dogs who I have trained and taken care of myself for 9 years now. I also have a snake and two cats so I know how to take care of other animals as well. I have been a dog sitter for 8 years now and I have been on rover for 3 years. I love all animals and am happy to take care of dogs as well as cats, other animals, and reptiles as well. Animals are like people in their personalities and I’m so excited to meet your animals and get to know them while taking care of them. I am a very punctual and goal oriented person and I will make sure that your animals will get what they need when they need it. Along with that I’ll be there to play with them, take them on walks, give them treats, and feed them. Please contact me if you need a sitter. Thank you! IMPORTANT PLEASE READ BEFORE REQUESTING: I am currently working as a nanny Monday-Friday for 5 hours a day (8-1). On top of that I am always willing to work with prices. If you have an issue with my prices I would gladly work with you to see if we can come up with something that benefits the both of us. Everyone deserves proper care for their animals while they’re away. I will be sure give your fur babies all the love and attention they need and want. I will make sure they are happy and healthy for you while you’re gone! I DO NOT do one day visits (house sitting jobs only during the day for one day) on week days. Please do not request me for one day visits on week days. :) I am very good at following directions. I am a very schedule oriented person and I’m always sure to keep up with the schedule others have for their animals. Please feel free to leave me as many notes as you can, the more notes the better! I also make sure to make the animals feel like they are as happy as they can be while their people are away. I want them to feel loved and cared for while their people are gone so that they don’t feel ignored or left by their family.

About: Howdy! I’m Liz, proud pet owner and lover of all animals. I currently have a 10yo AmStaff/Pit mix, a 6yo chocolate Lab mix, and a 14yo calico cat. I’ve never NOT had pets around me growing up, from a 6lb toy poodle to 100lb+ mutts to cats of all temperaments. One of my greatest joys in life is giving my pets a lavish life, because they deserve it; i’d love to care for your baby in the same way. ❤️ I’m super flexible with the care of your pooch, anything you need, I can provide! I will always be 100% honest with you as your canine care provider. Give me the nitty gritty details, requests, needs, etc. and i’m more than happy to follow your lead. I work a non-standard schedule, so there is someone in the house (myself or my partner) Saturday through Tuesday and pets are only solo between 11am-5pm Wednesday through Friday. I’m happy to provide everything you and your pet(s) need. My priority is making sure you have peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your babies are loved, safe, and cared for. I stay in close communication with owners for the duration of services. I love to send pictures, text updates, let you know when I arrive/leave, and I ALWAYS triple check locks/gates/etc.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
