“Sirrine has helped us quite a few times when we have been in a pinch. She always takes good care of our pups! She usually takes them on a long walk, takes cute photos and ensures they have food, water, and treats! I know my pups are in good hands with her!”

““Tatiana is amazing! Our puppies absolutely love her, and so do we. She is caring, reliable, attentive, and clearly loves animals. We always feel at ease knowing our puppies are with her because she treats them like her own. We’re so grateful to have found someone we trust completely. Highly recommend!””

About: I've always been an dog lover. I've owned dogs my whole life and started walking my neighbor's 80 lb dogs when I was 11. I have been trusted by many of my friends for pet sitting needs. Please forgive me if I remember your dogs name better than yours. I work from home and have a flexible daily schedule for walking or home visits. I have some weekend time available for pets who need care overnight, but as I am currently selling my house, I am unable to board any. When I had my dogs, our yard was fenced in. They had water refreshed daily and homemade meals, plus a variety of treats. We'd take two walks a day and they could go out back whenever they wanted. I also groomed them weekly, including brushing their teeth. For your home, it is your rules and you just tell me your norm.
“This was the first walk with Kayla. The pups enjoy their time out and were excited to see her! Kayla took very good care of them and we can't wait to book her again!”
About: I often walk and feed my sisters' dogs for them. One is old, grumpy and a very picky eater but truly a sweetheart. The other is very energetic, anxious and needy but also a lovebug and a smarty pants. I can handle any pet personality and am very meticulous about following directions. I promise to treat your pet like family! I have a very flexible schedule and am always ready to help you out with your pets, even on short notice! I'm currently a stay at home mom looking to fill my spare time by caring for your pets like they're my own! I provide drop in visits. I will feed, freshen water, scoop litter, and play with your pet. I love long walks. I'll even water plants and bring in mail. Just let me know what you and your fur babies need!

“Dominique was wonderful with our pups. She was timely. She communicated daily. She adjusted our schedule as needed. And most importantly our dogs were happy with a walk and some attention everyday that we were gone. Thank you so much!”

About: We are a new family of three and are preparing to add a wired hair fox terrier in the near future. We had a family dog when I was young but he sadly passed away due to old age. My husband and son love dogs and all animals. His previous pair of dogs was sadly stolen from him and he hasn’t been ready to get another pet. That recently changed when our son started showing extreme interest in dogs and other animals. We want to test the waters with dog boarding and walking to see before committing. For us, a pet is forever. I work from home and my work is flexible. I can accommodate changes in schedule. My office is in the galleria area and my house is in humble. I can do dog walks in the galleria area as well. I have a fenced backyard and empty rooms to house the dogs if they need to have their own space. We live in a very friendly neighborhood and parks nearby.

About: From a young age i’ve always had a dog by my side! As I got older I got a puppy that I personally trained up until now. I’ve caught on to how dogs behave, warning signs and how to treat them. For the summer time I am available any portion of the day to come take care of your fuzzy friend! :) I have another job, but I still make time for my own dogs. However, I use more caution now because of the summer heat. Former school student who participated in afterschool clubs, volunteering and was in an agriculture program! My weekends are relatively free to come by as well as time for walks or check-ins in the evenings on weekdays. I have a fenced yard and two large dogs. They get lots of love daily, are very spoiled and get time at the park and their grandmothers home. I will take care of your dogs with the same amount of love as I do for mine!
“Courtney followed all my instructions and did an awesome job taking care of my pups. She checked in often with photos and showed them lots of love. Will use her services again!”

My schedule is flexible, varies week to week, and is something I have control over to change as needed. I’m available for walks, drop in visits, or pet sitting in your home. I’m reliable and a dog mom myself, so I’ll treat your babies just like they’re my own.
“5 stars doesn't cut it! Ashlyn was great with our boys, who can be a handful, and was very accommodating to meet with me and introduce herself to them. She was very sweet, on time, and thorough taking care of the boys. She even checked in a couple days later to see how they were doing. SO thoughtful! We will be booking Ashlyn again in a couple weeks when we're out of town!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Harmaston
Carina is the BEST!!! I had a lot of last minute mishaps that resulted in me needing a sitter last minute and she went above and beyond each day. you can tell she is very attentive just by our conversations about each pet. our dog was so happy when she arrived and after each walk. would and will be rebooking! thanks carina

It was a pleasure to work with Dominique, who did a great job providing updates on the walks, Mac's daily nutritional updates and any issues of not eating when appropriate. Our boy was well cared for during our weeklong absence, and Mac seemed at ease with her early on. Mac is an 11 year old that takes time acclimating to new people coming into the house, so Dominique's handling of everything during the week was outstanding. Highly recommend her and will definitely be our "go to walker" in the future. Joe

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
