About: I can't have a pet at this time, so I would like to help take care of your best friend. I have experience with puppies to senior care, until passing. I can encourage training. I taught my old dog to close the door and play new games with me, like hide n seek. I, also, used to make homemade dog treats. About: I’m currently a student at SFA, majoring in Forestry with a concentration in Wildlife Management. I love animals and always will. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, rabbits, and hedgehogs. I also have experienced taking care of senior animals. I’m down to care for ANY & ALL pets including reptiles and insects. Your babies will receive lots of love in my care! I may or may not be available for summer as I’m am currently looking for an internship. If I get an internship in the area I will be available for weekends. I make sure I follow all directions given to me to the T. If the animal is going to be staying in my home I would prefer if they could come spend some time with my animals before they stay.

“TLDR: Giselle is amazing with both immediately friendly dogs and reactive dogs who need longer to warm up. Giselle was amazing with both of our girls! We have a labradoodle who is a true velcro dog and a terrier mix who is not a fan of strangers. We went through rover because we wanted our dogs to start getting used to new people. I was extremely nervous about leaving our terrier mix with someone new. She's not a biter but she does bark and charge at strangers who go near her. We scheduled a meet and greet a few days early with Giselle and she stayed until the terrier settled. During the actual drop ins, at first the terrier did not want to go to Giselle at all but Giselle was patient and sat with her to show her she was safe. By the second or third drop in, the terrier was not just okay with Giselle but genuinely excited to see her! We were so relieved that our dogs were comfortable while we were away.”

About: I've always been an dog lover. I've owned dogs my whole life and started walking my neighbor's 80 lb dogs when I was 11. I have been trusted by many of my friends for pet sitting needs. Please forgive me if I remember your dogs name better than yours. I work from home and have a flexible daily schedule for walking or home visits. I have some weekend time available for pets who need care overnight, but as I am currently selling my house, I am unable to board any. When I had my dogs, our yard was fenced in. They had water refreshed daily and homemade meals, plus a variety of treats. We'd take two walks a day and they could go out back whenever they wanted. I also groomed them weekly, including brushing their teeth. For your home, it is your rules and you just tell me your norm.

“Lexie must be great; this is my 8th time in booking her for Ginger & Oakley. My pups are older dogs 11 & 12 yrs. old. They are cautious about strangers, but they took to Lexie the first time. They say dogs have great instinct and they do. When your great at what you do, and have a warm passion about it, there's nothing else to say.”
