About: I can't have a pet at this time, so I would like to help take care of your best friend. I have experience with puppies to senior care, until passing. I can encourage training. I taught my old dog to close the door and play new games with me, like hide n seek. I, also, used to make homemade dog treats. Availability: I am pretty flexible on weekends and would appreciate any information on your schedule. I could during the weekdays but know I work Full-time from 9-6pm, M-F. I request if you can respect my work schedule, since I would like to do pet sitting on the side. Of course, your pet will always be set as my highest priority :)! I am pretty flexible on weekends and would appreciate any information on your schedule. I could during the weekdays but know I work Full-time from 9-6pm, M-F. I request if you can respect my work schedule. On Sundays, I may be busy in the morning for religious reasons. Sorry, I can't bring your best friend to my home. However, I will make sure they are comfortable with me entering their home. I am very patient if they need to time to adjust to me.
“Gladys is outstanding! She is incredibly caring, detail-oriented, and delivered so much information and pictures that we were entirely confident and assured during our trip. Our cats immediately felt safe and secure and came out for pets (they both can be shy and do not readily show themselves at all!). We recommend Gladys with the highest recommendation and are scheduling two more trips! Highly recommended with total confidence. Thank you so much Gladys!”

“Tatiana was great with my dog! She was on time with her drop ins, gave me regular updates, asked follow up questions on care instructions, and did a great job caring for my dog. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter”

“Soraya was incredible! 👏🏾 She was extremely flexible and followed instructions as given. Above all else she was punctual (I could tell from my ring camera) and incredibly responsive. I believe the longest I ever had to wait for a response was 20 minutes, and that was WITH her other part time work hours. I would HIGHLY recommend her to watch your fur baby as I will surely be using her again. My dog loved her and her energy and I'm sure he's as grateful for her as I am.”

“We had a family emergency and Kayla was able to make room for our two pup to make sure thy were watered and let our. They love their time with her and we appreciate her flexibility.”
“GREAT JOB TAKING CARE OF OUR BELOVED “COCO” HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Great communication and they really care for your pet 🥰👏🏼💝this is our 3rd time and will continue…”

About: I’m currently a student at SFA, majoring in Forestry with a concentration in Wildlife Management. I love animals and always will. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, rabbits, and hedgehogs. I also have experienced taking care of senior animals. I’m down to care for ANY & ALL pets including reptiles and insects. Your babies will receive lots of love in my care! I may or may not be available for summer as I’m am currently looking for an internship. If I get an internship in the area I will be available for weekends. I make sure I follow all directions given to me to the T. If the animal is going to be staying in my home I would prefer if they could come spend some time with my animals before they stay.
“Lauren is so great with my Lia! She has been such a blessing with my crazy work schedule and my boyfriends schedule! She is very attentive and East to work with! I highly recommend her! She will always be my go to!”

“Lexie must be great; this is my 8th time in booking her for Ginger & Oakley. My pups are older dogs 11 & 12 yrs. old. They are cautious about strangers, but they took to Lexie the first time. They say dogs have great instinct and they do. When your great at what you do, and have a warm passion about it, there's nothing else to say.”

“Can't say enough great things about Kyra! All the updates and pictures of the girlie, they looked like they really enjoyed having her. She followed our instructions was prompt, reliable and was very communicative. Our only complaint was not finding her sooner for our past trips! Will be booking her again!”

“Madyson was so great checking in on my pup while I was out of town on business and my husband was at work. She was prompt and always took photos and let me know how Finley did. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone!”

About: I grew up with animals and riding horses. While in high school I would pet sit for my neighbors, and really enjoyed doing that. I have fostered kittens and I’m very familiar with taking care of cats as I have two of my own. Growing up with dogs ranging from 95 pounds to 11 pounds gives me a wide range of experience. I was an equestrian rider and would spend most of my time at the barn around a variety of animals. I’m looking to growing my career in animal sitting and animal care, and would love the opportunity to take care of your fur baby. I currently have a part time job aside from pet sitting fur babies. My hours are flexible, seven days a week as my schedule permits. I’m able to play with, give attention, scoop litter, feed and give treats, and I am also able to walk dogs if needed. While visiting your fur baby, their health and well being is my top priority. While tending to them I will also be observing for anything that seems out of the ordinary. I will give a brief summary after each visit with pictures.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my dedication to personalized care. I do not have experience in training but I am willing to learn. Ensuring they develop good habits early on. Your pet's comfort and well-being are my top priorities! My work schedule involves overnight shifts, but I am available to provide pet-sitting services during the daytime hours as well as ensuring care at night. In order to care for a pet in another person’s home I take certain steps to ensure the pet is well taken care of. 1. Understand the pet's feeding, exercise, and bathroom routines. 2. Ensure their health and safety by knowing medication needs and emergency contacts. 3. Provide comfort with familiar items and maintain their usual routine. 4. Communicate regularly with the pet owner for updates and any questions.
“Kendyll was a life saver and wonderful to work with. Our cat is very shy and particular but Kendyll still made sure she was taken care of and worked to bond with her as best she could. We're so grateful for Kendyll and would absolutely book her again.”

“TLDR: Giselle is amazing with both immediately friendly dogs and reactive dogs who need longer to warm up. Giselle was amazing with both of our girls! We have a labradoodle who is a true velcro dog and a terrier mix who is not a fan of strangers. We went through rover because we wanted our dogs to start getting used to new people. I was extremely nervous about leaving our terrier mix with someone new. She's not a biter but she does bark and charge at strangers who go near her. We scheduled a meet and greet a few days early with Giselle and she stayed until the terrier settled. During the actual drop ins, at first the terrier did not want to go to Giselle at all but Giselle was patient and sat with her to show her she was safe. By the second or third drop in, the terrier was not just okay with Giselle but genuinely excited to see her! We were so relieved that our dogs were comfortable while we were away.”

Gladys is FIVE STAR! Our cats Zach and Sunny come out to see her, receive brushings-and Gladys figured out what Zach enjoyed with a different brush that I never have! Pets are in the best care with Gladys-and you’ll see that with her pictures and comments that tell stories!

Tatiana took great care of our cats. She was prompt with the scheduled visits and checking in after the visit with pictures of our kitties. She was very friendly and personable during our meet and greet. This was the first time I left Pip with a sitter and because of the excellent communication from Tatiana, responding quickly to my text messages, I did not worry about my kitties.
Danielle is going to be our new cat sitter from now on any time we go out of town! She is amazing! Simba is old and doesn’t like new people, but she was able to give him his pill every day! He made a new friend! He even let her pet him, and he usually doesn’t like women. She is the cat whisperer!

She was AMAZING with our dog and cat on such short notice!! She Sent pictures and even videos of our fur babies and communicated with me AMAZINGLY!! She even brought our mail inside one day for us! I would definitely recommend Stacy to watch your fur babies and we will for sure be using her again!😊

Thank you, Nicole, for taking such great care of our Willow! 😻 Our sweet diva was healthy, happy, and her normal self when we got home. Nicole cared for Willow with such attention and kindness and she also took great care of our home. We knew after the very first visit that Willow was in great hands. We’re so grateful to have found someone so reliable, close by, and consistent with every drop-in. Highly recommend! 😸👏🏻😻🙌🏼

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Harmaston. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
