âTatiana is great! She has watched my dog, fish, and plants several times now, with the most recent being 10 days long, and has been awesome every time! Highly recommend.â

âJames is excellent!! Our sweet old pup has diabetes (on insulin) and is blind with dry eyes (has eye ointment) and James takes such good care of him every time we are away -- THANK YOU James!!â

âNo exaggeration, best dog sitter you can find in the area. It is truly hard to find someone who will care for your pets the way you'd expect them to but Soraya went above and beyond for my dogs. She is punctual, responsible and detailed. My dogs really enjoyed her company by the looks of the pictures I was getting đ Would recommend her to anyone who needs their pets to have an amazing sitter!â

âLove when Lauren sits for my kitty. She sat for an extended stay while I was in vacation. I really appreciate how she writes extensive reports each time she visits. Definitely goes above and beyond. Thanks Lauren!!â

âTLDR: Giselle is amazing with both immediately friendly dogs and reactive dogs who need longer to warm up. Giselle was amazing with both of our girls! We have a labradoodle who is a true velcro dog and a terrier mix who is not a fan of strangers. We went through rover because we wanted our dogs to start getting used to new people. I was extremely nervous about leaving our terrier mix with someone new. She's not a biter but she does bark and charge at strangers who go near her. We scheduled a meet and greet a few days early with Giselle and she stayed until the terrier settled. During the actual drop ins, at first the terrier did not want to go to Giselle at all but Giselle was patient and sat with her to show her she was safe. By the second or third drop in, the terrier was not just okay with Giselle but genuinely excited to see her! We were so relieved that our dogs were comfortable while we were away.â

About: Iâm currently a student at SFA, majoring in Forestry with a concentration in Wildlife Management. I love animals and always will. Iâve taken care of cats, dogs, rabbits, and hedgehogs. I also have experienced taking care of senior animals. Iâm down to care for ANY & ALL pets including reptiles and insects. Your babies will receive lots of love in my care! I may or may not be available for summer as Iâm am currently looking for an internship. If I get an internship in the area I will be available for weekends. I make sure I follow all directions given to me to the T. If the animal is going to be staying in my home I would prefer if they could come spend some time with my animals before they stay.

âSirrine is just wonderful! Our dog Charlie doesnât do well with boarding so we feel so happy knowing that if we need to leave him overnight Sirrine will take the best care of him!â

About: I can't have a pet at this time, so I would like to help take care of your best friend. I have experience with puppies to senior care, until passing. I can encourage training. I taught my old dog to close the door and play new games with me, like hide n seek. I, also, used to make homemade dog treats. Availability: I am pretty flexible on weekends and would appreciate any information on your schedule. I could during the weekdays but know I work Full-time from 9-6pm, M-F. I request if you can respect my work schedule, since I would like to do pet sitting on the side. Of course, your pet will always be set as my highest priority :)! I am pretty flexible on weekends and would appreciate any information on your schedule. I could during the weekdays but know I work Full-time from 9-6pm, M-F. I request if you can respect my work schedule. On Sundays, I may be busy in the morning for religious reasons. Sorry, I can't bring your best friend to my home. However, I will make sure they are comfortable with me entering their home. I am very patient if they need to time to adjust to me.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my dedication to personalized care. I do not have experience in training but I am willing to learn. Ensuring they develop good habits early on. Your pet's comfort and well-being are my top priorities! My work schedule involves overnight shifts, but I am available to provide pet-sitting services during the daytime hours as well as ensuring care at night. In order to care for a pet in another personâs home I take certain steps to ensure the pet is well taken care of. 1. Understand the pet's feeding, exercise, and bathroom routines. 2. Ensure their health and safety by knowing medication needs and emergency contacts. 3. Provide comfort with familiar items and maintain their usual routine. 4. Communicate regularly with the pet owner for updates and any questions.

About: I am well rounded on all life stages and energy levels. I have been working with animals for about 10 years, starting in a daycare as a kennel tech then as a dog handler, moved over to the medical side of animal care as a veterinary assistant for 2 years before becoming a veterinary technician and a surgical nurse, then moved into emergency room settings. So if you have an elderly pet or a pet with high medical needs, booking with me will give peace of mind that your loved one is being properly taken care of. I am currently part time employed, going to nursing school online full time. I am also new to the area. My schedule is very flexible. Aside from being well trained on dogs/cats body language, my main goal is always to gain the pets trust with the understanding that I am in their home. When it comes to pets with more medical needs, making sure that the medication is timely and properly administered plus properly stored.
âMadyson was so great checking in on my pup while I was out of town on business and my husband was at work. She was prompt and always took photos and let me know how Finley did. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone!â

âKendyll was absolutely wonderful. She was very accommodating and took great care of Lilly during an extended work trip. She even brought in a large box of dog food that got delivered earlier than expected. I would absolutely recommend Kendyll and will definitely request her again!â

About: Iâve been caring for animals for over 10 years and have experience pet sitting both dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and personalities. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and attentive. Iâm comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning up after pets, administering basic care, and following specific routines. I currently work part time, but I have a flexible schedule and make pet care a priority. Iâm available for drop in visits, walks, and house sitting, and Iâm committed to following your petâs routine as closely as possible. I communicate regularly with pet parents and provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pets are being well cared for while youâre away. I primarily provide care in my clientsâ homes, where pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I take the time to learn each petâs routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions. My goal is to make pets feel safe, loved, and stress-free while their owners are away. I treat every home with respect and always prioritize your petâs well-being and safety.
âLexie, this young woman is very special indeed. This must be our Fifteen time using Lexie and every time is great. My situation is special for I have 2 Senior dogs; my 11-yr lab is a recovering Stroke & Vestibular Disease dog. My GSP is a 12yr somewhat healthy dog. I fully trust Lexie and has been a lifesaver many times. That's all I need to say. Edward Kâ

âCrystal took excellent care of our four cats. She provided us with pictures every day, and even told us when an unusual car was parked in our driveway. We will definitely use her again!â

Houston experienced severe storms today. Gladys observes all the changes and stressors that are happening with our two cats and is so caring. I know and see all that is happening through Gladysâ camera lense-I am so thankful and grateful! Gladys is an amazing Petsitter!

Tatiana took great care of our cats. She was prompt with the scheduled visits and checking in after the visit with pictures of our kitties. She was very friendly and personable during our meet and greet. This was the first time I left Pip with a sitter and because of the excellent communication from Tatiana, responding quickly to my text messages, I did not worry about my kitties.
Danielle is going to be our new cat sitter from now on any time we go out of town! She is amazing! Simba is old and doesnât like new people, but she was able to give him his pill every day! He made a new friend! He even let her pet him, and he usually doesnât like women. She is the cat whisperer!

She was AMAZING with our dog and cat on such short notice!! She Sent pictures and even videos of our fur babies and communicated with me AMAZINGLY!! She even brought our mail inside one day for us! I would definitely recommend Stacy to watch your fur babies and we will for sure be using her again!đ

Thank you, Nicole, for taking such great care of our Willow! đť Our sweet diva was healthy, happy, and her normal self when we got home. Nicole cared for Willow with such attention and kindness and she also took great care of our home. We knew after the very first visit that Willow was in great hands. Weâre so grateful to have found someone so reliable, close by, and consistent with every drop-in. Highly recommend! đ¸đđťđťđđź

Karissa has been the best of all pet sitters I had. She shows care for the pets, she will ask questions, because she wants to do things right, that means a lot, someone who cares will ask, because she's concerned that everything goes well. Often times she will stay more than the required time and one time she even returned because Karissa was concerned about the health of one of the kitties. If you ask me if I would be using Karissa again, the answer is YES! She is amazing.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Harmaston. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
