“TLDR: Giselle is amazing with both immediately friendly dogs and reactive dogs who need longer to warm up. Giselle was amazing with both of our girls! We have a labradoodle who is a true velcro dog and a terrier mix who is not a fan of strangers. We went through rover because we wanted our dogs to start getting used to new people. I was extremely nervous about leaving our terrier mix with someone new. She's not a biter but she does bark and charge at strangers who go near her. We scheduled a meet and greet a few days early with Giselle and she stayed until the terrier settled. During the actual drop ins, at first the terrier did not want to go to Giselle at all but Giselle was patient and sat with her to show her she was safe. By the second or third drop in, the terrier was not just okay with Giselle but genuinely excited to see her! We were so relieved that our dogs were comfortable while we were away.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for most of my life, and I’ve spent the past 5 years working professionally at a dog boarding and daycare facility, where I’ve been a manager for the last 2½ years. My experience includes caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, personalities, and energy levels, as well as senior dogs and pets with special needs. Through my job, I’ve also provided in-home care for clients whose pets needed care outside of our facility, including daytime visits, drop-ins, and overnight stays. I’ve cared for pets in their own homes as well as provided sitting in my home for friends and people I know. I’m comfortable handling dogs who require extra attention, including dogs with mobility limitations, paralyzed dogs, medication schedules, special feedings, and other individualized routines. I understand how important it is to follow each pet’s routine closely and make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. Outside of work, I grew up with multiple dogs and cats and have always had a strong love for animals. One of my own dogs was a Terrier/Chihuahua mix who lived to be 16 years old, so I especially understand the patience and care that senior pets need. I currently work full time but like to spend my off days(Mondays,Friday and Saturdays) doing things I love. I tend to do any pet sitting available but if not I go on walks or hikes with my dog, I will sometimes have my cat join us in his travel backpack. I prefer caring for pets in the owners home because it’s less stressful for them while their loved ones are away, I believe it’s better for them to be in a familiar environment. I care for eat pet like it’s my own, I’m a big believer that pets are family not just animals!

About: I volunteer in animal rescue shelters, so I’ve been around all kinds of pets. I also nursed a parvo puppy until the virus went away. I’m a pre-vet college student from Monday through Thursday, but I’m free during weekends to care of your fur babies. I usually walk large dogs from shelters, so I have experience with dog walking. I know all dogs are different, so I’ll make sure your pet isn’t over exercising. I also know bloating can happen, so I am cautious of how much water and food they’re consuming.

About: I have been pet sitting for the past 10 years as an odd Job. I would love to help neighbors with their furry friends while they work or on vacation. I live with my own two pups. Tyson and Spicy. They love meeting new friends. I have an open backyard for pets to get fresh air at all times if their stay during the day. I work Thursday- Saturday 9pm-2am. I have open availability other than that ! So your pup will receive a lot of attention from me. I love for them to join me in my morning yoga. As well as my jog. I have two pups as well so I do prefer crates as it’s needed for when I’m away running an errand or out working overnight. I do have one extra crate at the moment. If you prefer no crate. Let me know. I can accommodate as I have an extra bedroom for them to roam. A large backyard with secured exit points they’ll love! Along with puppy pools for those who love splashing.
