About: I’ve worked at a daycare and boarding for dogs and cats for over 4 years. I am extremely passionate and caring for your pet i want to make sure they feel at home. I am experienced in feeding, cleaning , walking ,administering medication but most importantly loving them. I understand senior pups aren’t like my younger pups but that’s okay because i will still make sure they get all the love and care they need and deserve! I’m currently available everyday, I want to continue my education but for now I am very passionate into loving and caring for your fur baby making them feel at home. The way i care for pets in my home is i always let pet parent bring all of your pets belongings to make them feel at home. I also follow all of instructions and ask detail for pet from pet parent to make sure I’m well informed on your pets schedule. For house sitting in clients home i would basically do the same and would follow any instructions pet parent chooses to tell me.

About: With 10+ years caring for my own dogs and volunteering at animal shelters, I specialize in walking and sitting small dogs (under 40lbs)from playful puppies to seniors. My approach focuses on patience, calm energy, and positive reinforcement to build trust, reduce separation anxiety, and ensure your dog feels safe and happy. I offer: ✔️Gentle walks tailored to your dog’s pace ✔️Overnight stays with personalized care ✔️Medication administration and baths ✔️Comfort with puppies, adult, and senior dogs Your dog’s wellbeing and joy are my top priority. Let’s make every walk or stay a positive experience! I currently have a hybrid work schedule which allows me to be home for the majority of the week. Work outside my home tends to take 1-4 hours of my day in the mornings, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I spend the rest of my time towards reading and basic household maintenance. I have an open and well maintained front yard with two trees ; your pup can potty, play, and explore here leashed. My back yard is fully fenced with a doggy proof gate. There are two friendly dogs in the back yard. For extra safety , my home provides a back porch area that is fully fenced. This way your pup may enjoy the back yard porch and grassy area to potty all to themselves.

About: I treat every pet I care for like family. I know firsthand how much they mean to us because I have a fur baby of my own. I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s hands, and I know how reassuring it feels to have a reliable, loving sitter you can count on while you’re away. I have experience with dogs of all ages from energetic puppies learning routines to senior pets who need a little extra patience and gentle care. I’m big on consistency, making sure feeding times, walks, and playtime stay on schedule. I also believe communication is key, so I always provide updates and photos to help you stay connected and confident your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is simple: to give your pet the same love, comfort, and attention they get from you, and to give you total peace of mind while you’re away. Hi there! I’m Shinel a lifelong animal lover, proud dog mom, and someone who understands the importance of dependable pet care while you’re away. Since I sometimes travel for work, I know firsthand the peace of mind that comes from having a sitter you can truly trust. That’s why I treat every pet I care for as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable at all times. When I’m not spending time with my own fur baby, you’ll usually find me out for walks, enjoying playtime, or cuddling up with the pets I sit for. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate a variety of needs, whether it’s regular drop-ins, overnight care, or last minute plans. My goal is to make your time away as stress free as possible for both you and your pet. In your home, I respect your space and follow your instructions closely to ensure your pet’s comfort and safety. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while maintaining their normal routine. When pets stay with me, they become part of the family. I provide a calm, cozy environment, daily walks, and lots of love. I’m also big on communication, so you can expect regular updates and photos to stay connected while you’re away

Thankfully someone was still there and let her in. To have a dog walker so dedicated to your loved one(s) really puts your mind at rest. 5 star top tier pet care

I needed to be at work all day and Julissa did a great job being patient with all my instructions (1st time for me to leave them to someone outside the family and I’m a professor, so of course… ?) and giving our pups a quick dog walk for their potty break. We would definitely hire her again.

About: My first pet in life at the young age of 3 was a Great Dane and I have been an animal lover ever since. Through out college I took care of various dogs (and cats!) , including both puppies, adults and seniors. My schedule varies with work but I always try to accommodate everyone. I can usually be more flexible on weekends. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding scheduling! I do ask you book at least a few days in advance. :) I have one small dog, who is extremely friendly and outgoing, as well as two middle aged cats. I have had various different experiences with animals in my lifetime ranging from riding horses competitively, personally owning and caring for both large and small dogs, as well as loving on and understanding cats and how they relate to our world.

About: I have over 15 years of experience pet-sitting and I absolutely love taking care of furry children. I started pet-sitting as a child and I continued watching human's furry family members through graduate school I am an animal lover who has taken care of fur babies from zoo animals to domesticated companions in their home habitat. I make dogs feel as though they are on vacation when their humans are away. We have adventures at the beach, dog parks or your furry baby's favorite place. I recently moved to the South Bay with my own pup, Million, who I taught to communicate using AAC buttons like the viral sensation Bunny the Bernedoodle. It takes a lot of patience and reinforcement to train a dog to use a communication tool created for non-verbal children.

About: In my family I’m known for loving my pets more than any human! I’ve taken care of pets since I was a young child. My love for animals run deep and I truly care for animals like they’re my own! I am a college student on break, so I spend 24 hours and 7 days a week playing and taking care of my fur baby Rusty! He wakes me everyday around 8 am where I start by taking him outside for his morning potty. I feed him a half a scoop of food and we usually. rest before going for a walk. We play outside and rest for most of the day. Bedtime looks similar. I feed rusty around 6 pm and before bed he has one more potty break, I care for my dog in my home everyday that I’m home from college. Before I take care of myself, I make sure that Rusty is taken care of, fed, and treated with care.

We couldn’t recommend Evelyn more highly! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We truly trust no one like her when it comes to leaving our babies, whether it’s for a short trip or a longer time away. She is always in constant communication, keeps us updated every step of the way, and sends the best pictures that give us total peace of mind. What really sets her apart is how she consistently goes above and beyond—helping with medications, cleaning up any messes, and making sure our pets are not just cared for, but genuinely loved. If you’re looking for someone reliable, attentive, and compassionate, she is simply the best!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
