“TLDR: Giselle is amazing with both immediately friendly dogs and reactive dogs who need longer to warm up. Giselle was amazing with both of our girls! We have a labradoodle who is a true velcro dog and a terrier mix who is not a fan of strangers. We went through rover because we wanted our dogs to start getting used to new people. I was extremely nervous about leaving our terrier mix with someone new. She's not a biter but she does bark and charge at strangers who go near her. We scheduled a meet and greet a few days early with Giselle and she stayed until the terrier settled. During the actual drop ins, at first the terrier did not want to go to Giselle at all but Giselle was patient and sat with her to show her she was safe. By the second or third drop in, the terrier was not just okay with Giselle but genuinely excited to see her! We were so relieved that our dogs were comfortable while we were away.”

About: I absolutely adore animals! My experience with pets began at 5 years old when my family adopted our first dog. Ever since then, I always had an animal in my life. Also, in the last couple of years, I've cared for other's pets on Trusted House Sitters as well, with great success! Throughout my life so far, I've had four dogs. Three have passed away now, and my family and I have one left. He is old, 15 or 16, and struggles with CCD (doggie dementia). My dogs have brought me so much joy, and their well-being is my top priority. My passion for pet care extends to other animals and their families as well. About: I completely understand the importance of reliable evening care. Right now, I’m available in the mornings or after 6:30 p.m., and I know that may not fully line up with what you need. I’ve had a lot of experience caring for pets and homes — I raised a dog from puppyhood through its senior years, have a cat I’ve raised from a kitten for the past two years, and I’ve house-sat many times, including a three-month long position. I’m very dependable and attentive, and I’d be glad to help if your needs ever shift to fit my availability. As I have a fur baby myself I understand the need of wanting a good sitter I work part time in the evenings from 2-6:30 and Sunday mornings busy but other than that I am free all day. Thank you for considering me. I try to stick to what the owner wants/does routinely. If no clear instructions are given will ask or do what I would for my animal done
